    Chick-fil-A Waffle Potato Fries
    Chelsi B.

Officially opening February 27th, my husband was excited to have a Chick-fil-a local to us. I haven't been to a chick-fil-a in about 18 years so I just went with the classic chicken sandwich, waffle fries and a drink. Other than my husband not knowing how to read texts so I didn't receive my pickles, everything was pretty standard. Line was long but they still made it quick, and according to my husband "they didn't say have a blessed day". Things will be slow for a bit I'm sure but they are doing decent so far. As the lines make obvious, Chick-fil-a has a a welcomed new spot in town and I'm sure it'll be a busy for a while.

I live nearby and I heard a chick-fil-a was opening up. Everyone was talking about it. I just had to go and I wasn't disappointed. I had the regular chicken sandwich, Fries, and a refreshing Coca Cola. Chicken sandwich was soft, and tasty with sauce on top. The Fries were so good. Coca Cola was very great. The guy taking the order was very respectful, patient, and friendly. The chick fil a sign was large. The restaurant was a little busy probably because everyone wants to try the tasty food.

The name of my order LOL

Based on the menu on the wall, we were going to order the strawberry chicken salad to go. Upon going to order, we were told that we had to fill out a paper specifying what ingredients should go into the salad. This was a little confusing as this was a menu item so the employee should know what you need to put into the salad, AnyWho. Once we were able to select our salad, the base the ingredients and choice of dressing. Our salad was made within 10 minutes. Overall, it was really good and the ingredients were fresh. I will say that the onions needed to be chopped up a little bit as they were way too big to be red onions and on a salad. We also appreciated the poppyseed dressing which was really fresh and complimented the spring greens on the salad. Overall, if you're looking for a fresh ingredient meal, this is a good place. We also noticed that they make smoothies and bowls and so I would give this a try out if you're looking for healthier options to dine.

I ordered a salad and quite a bit of the lettuce was wet and rotting, very mealy avocado, black hair on one of the croutons. And the supposed house ranch tastes like a bad shelf-stable ranch. I have never had a house dressing that does not taste fresh. $20 plus tip for this, never again. The chicken tastes like that packaged cooked chicken for salads from the grocery store. There was nothing good about this salad. They should be ashamed of selling this to people. I also had a bad online experience before not too long ago, and had no plans of even trying this place after that, but I was in the mood for a salad and thought maybe it would be a better experience this time. Experience from a few months ago... I attempted ordering from here and it did not go well. Instead of being reliable and staying present during their scheduled business hours, they decided to close early for a catering job. They did not update the Facebook page or the voicemail, and did not turn off online ordering. I show up for a curbside order. No answer when calling. I get out and see that they are closed and there is a sign on the door, so now I have to figure out something else for dinner. The owner keeps saying they did not receive the order. That is not my problem. You choose this third-party site to take your orders and collect your money. The order was placed directly on their website, but they use Square. A receipt with the order was emailed to me. The money was literally taken out of my account, so I do not understand what they are trying to argue. Square collects money for your orders, and then they give you the money. You are responsible for all of this. If you cannot handle online ordering properly, then do not use it. This is not difficult to understand. Instead of asking me to show proof of the online order and refunding me in cash, I was told I had to dispute this with my bank, which I did. What terrible customer service all around.

Great size for sharing, but you're not going to want to! So fresh, so tasty, and made with love from local ingredients. The cafe is located inside a "food hall" of sorts, surrounded by other local vendors serving cheese, produce, coffee, beer, smoothies, gifts, and more! Great atmosphere for cooling off from the summer sun and enjoying a unique lunch prepared by friendly, knowledgeable servers. If you're in the St. Joseph area, make sure to stop by and grab a snack! I highly recommend Dad's Farm & Cafe, and cannot wait to sink my teeth into that sandwich again soon!!

The food here is ok but apparently they want to lose a customer over refusing to refund an item…read morethat was not given, like I don't spend enough in their expensive store on a regular basis anyway. Or, I did. This person must really need 50 cents badly to actually ignore a customer and to refuse a refund. Your business will not last if you do not have the management skills to back up cooking skills. And this is a small area. When a customer asks you why you charged them something, they are not just asking. It is theft. I expect an answer when I ask that question. My receipt clearly shows a custom charge of 50 cents, for a side of sauce that I did not receive. It was actually supposed to be a dollar because I ordered 2 sides. I sent a message and was told that I was not charged, end of reply. I replied that I was. Instead of sending a refund, they sent me a copy of the current receipt that clearly shows a 50 cent custom charge on it. I am not the blind one here. I messaged again asking what the charge was for, if not for the sauce. No reply. I am also tired of tipping on takeout just to have no one check the orders and for it to go out wrong, no more. What is the tip for? It was 2 items, juice, and some sauce, not hard to get right. Tip in cash only if your order is correct. A normal response would also be to apologize for getting the order wrong to begin with. I have not received another response or a refund so I take it that they feel entitled to take money for items not given. It is not about the amount of money, just the audacity and bad business practices. Shameful behavior. There is nothing special about the menu here so something better will eventually take its place.

While not a…read morevegetarian, she often will choose a vegetarian dish and with how vegetable heavy the menu is, I figured this was the perfect opportunity to come in for the first time. While Happy Poochie has been open for years, their short hours (11am-2:30pm M-F) make it hard to coordinate with my husband with days off. We came in not long after they opened at 11am on Monday, July 27th and stayed about an hour chatting even after we finished our meals. I got the cold hand cuke sandwich with a soda, while my parents split a sandwich (that I didn't hear the name of but had turkey on it), my mom choosing a canned tea and my dad getting a fountain drink lemonade. My mom almost got some chips, but they didn't have the healthier chips that she prefers. This spot was super cozy as well as clean. My dad used the restroom and reported back that it was well maintained. They have a cute porch area to enjoy on nice days like today, but we opted to stay inside. This was all of our first time here and we're very impressed with Happy Poochie Eatery. I very much would recommend finding a way to come out and try a sandwich or salad, though the hours do make that hard for the standard 9-5 worker. Thanks so much Happy Poochie Eatery for the fantastic food and I can't wait to come again!

For starters, the space is very airy and inviting and the same goes for the sweet staff. They all were hamming it up with our kids. We also ordered the Portofino salad that was loaded roasted red peppers, carrots, pumpkin seeds, chickpeas, etc. I also had a carbonated jasmine lemongrass tea that was zesty and lovely. Overall, a fabulous experience. Look forward to coming back!
