Picked up a Tuna unwhich for my wife and get rotten lettuce. Yes rotten- when it's a soggy gross slim hole in the middle of the sandwich. One thing to make a rotten sandwich but another thing for the owner to be very disrespectful. When he told my wife just don't come back here if you don't like it. I didn't request anything special, but they messed up my sandwich and I have to say - the employees here (minus the cashier guy) are f-ing morons! There's nothing fast about Jimmy John's, I'm so tired of that "freaky fast" slogan they've got. Maybe their delivery service can hustle, since anytime I've been in Jimmy John's there's a sandwich maker spending time on catering orders and ignoring people who are present. When it came down to actual patrons physically present, there weren't many, and no one was waiting before me. Whatever system they follow that makes things a priority blows. So I stood there, and I watched Seniorita Sandwichmaker with her greasy hair make at least 4 sandwiches before she looked up and said, "what are you waiting for?" I told her, "beach club," and she got on it - almost right away. Then she passed the sandwich to another employee who just kept yelling, "NUMBER 12? NUMBER 12?! DID YOU HAVE A NUMBER 12?" Well, shit lady, I didn't memorize the number to my sandwich and I can't see the menu, so I GUESS I did. I got back to work, and my sandwich was heaping with lettuce. And no bean sprouts. I can't come here anymore!!!! What is this?!?!? I use to love this location but I get there today and there was a lady in line ordering sandwiches and she took forever!!!! There were two registers, you would think another associate would get on the register so there would not be a line but instead they stared at us!!!! So I got annoyed and my agitation started to show. That's when they tried to hurry the lady along because the lady acted like she never been to a jimmy johns before and by now more people were coming in. Anyway I guest one of the associates finally saw my face and proceeded to ask me what sandwich I needed while the cashier was still dealing with the lady who was taking forever in front me. I placed my order and the associate made my order and gave it to me while I still had to wait on this lady in front of me so I can pay. Like come on! I finally had my sandwich in hand and was able to pay and leave. Not once did the cashier apologize for the wait or even bother stung thanks for the purchase but the young girl who made my sandwich did apologize for the wait so I do appreciate that. Now I finally make it to work bc it was my lunch hour. I unwrapped my sandwich and it seemed like they just gave me nothing but tomato and bread. By far this had to be one of the worst customer service experience I have ever had!! I called to order a sandwich for delivery 30 mins later I call asking where my food is ? On Nov. 11th 2019 at 8:45pm I tried to make a pick up order over the phone because I was right down the street and knew they were closing soon. When they answered they said they "already threw everything away" so I just went up to the door anyway and this location already had their doors locked when they clearly close at 9pm on weekdays. The three employees (One male, two female) pretended like they didn't see us at first and then after we kept knocking they signaled that they were already closed but when I showed them the time they kept saying no and eventually started flicking me and my friend off and yelling things. I am disgusted by this lack of sympathy and poor business practice by these employees. They should be held accountable for closing early and turning away customers like that. I will be calling corporate tomorrow as well for JSFort Group to file a complaint. I had this Jimmy Johns just deliver to me. A lady handed me my order. As I close the door, it hits me... My order reeked of smoke. My cup smelled of smoke so of course my hands now smelled of smoke which I now eat my food with. Totally ruining my appetite. The bag smelled too. They should not have heavy smokers whose cars reek off smoke have customers food in them. The odor carries. Never having them deliver again if I decide to Order from there again. I went into Jimmy John's for a little john on two consecutive days. The first day I was charged $6.14 + tax for a little john sub, chips and medium drink. I am a member of their reward program and received an email stating I was eligible for a free little john. The following day I went in to take them up on a reward, only to be told that I wasn't eligible. I went ahead and ordered the same meal anyway. The little john sub, chips and medium drink were that day considered a "combo" at $5.00 + tax. This prompted me to ask if I brought both receipts in would they give me a refund for the over charge on the first. The Managers response was I can't go back in time! Well, I'm not comparing it to Morton's here, just to the other sub places (Subway, Potbelly, etc.) I have worked near this Jimmy John's for approximately two years now, and have eaten there far more times than I can recall offhand (I admit it, I'm a sandwich junkie). I've also checked out Jimmy John's in Madison and Kansas City, and have found all of them to be of a similar quality level. I happen to love the French bread here, though it can be hit-and-miss. When it's straight out of the oven, it's some of the best I've ever had - soft, warm, and quite tasty. Now, if you need a bunch of junk dumped on top of your bread to enjoy it (see Subway), you may not like it. It's bread; plain and simple. Though I've never had any qualms about any of the meats, I'm partial to the ham (smoked ham, that is...and quite tasty). I've always found the meats and vegetables to be fresh and appetizing - and I'm a stickler for fresh veggies. I used to be a big fan of Subway (and in their defense, you get more food mass for your money), but after eating at Jimmy John's on a regular basis, I find it hard to go back - even for a somewhat better deal. Even the condiments at Jimmy John's are of higher quality, with Hellmann's mayo and Grey Poupon. Overall, this is the best chain sandwich shop that I've found...and I've looked. read more

Jimmy Johns is some of the worst sub style sandwich food, I've ever had. The bread is consistently boring. You could ball it up and chuck it accross the room, much like a slice of wonder bread. And their veggies are never farm fresh. Anyone who likes food, and enjoys the freshness related to good produce should avoid this place like the plague. I've had it a few times, actually paid for it once and was never ever satisfied. Notably, I had the turkey sub, and it was the blandest sandwich, I've had in memory. Compare it to a turkey sandwich at Potbelly and you might as well eat mac and cheese from the box, at least it has flavor. I was grossed out by the translucent colored turkey, the orange colored, hard, tasteless tomatoes, and shredded head lettuce that combined to create an overwhelmingly underwhwelming sandwich. Stay away, if you like subs. You're much better off at Subway or Quiznos. Atleast they provide flavor at no extra charge. read more

Orders from this location sometimes arrive very late ( more than 1 hour after the expected delivery time). Sometimes they never arrive. For those of us with a scheduled lunch break, this can be a huge problem. It is not a problem whatsoever for the owner, Mr. Rambow. He is quite adept at passing the blame. I placed a order for coworkers and paid the delivery fee. When the order arrived we were missing an item. I called the store and they told me they would credit back my account. Worked for me! After five days, I realized my account had not been credited. I called the store and they now tell me it's an in-store credit. I personally do not eat at Jimmy John's. I've waited over an hour and forty-five minutes for my food. I called after 45 minutes and was told that the food was on the way. However, after 70 minutes I called back. I was placed on hold for 6 minutes by the manager that said she didn't know where our food was. I asked to speak to the owner (Karl). He refused to give me a refund and was very rude. He stated that he would not be in business if he gave refunds and that delivery times are not guaranteed. We are still waiting for our food.
