Took forever for the food to come out and the sandwich would've been good, but the bun was stale and the fries had been sitting out a while as they were less than warm. Service was not very attentive or pleasant. Sodas are $4.50 and refills are $1.50. Total for the meal, all in, was $44. Restaurant was a bit grungy. Bathrooms are located through the gift shop and are poorly maintained. read more

As a major point within our meal - a guy with a broom and dustpan smashed and killed a giant centipede by the entrance while we were eating, not exactly appetizing. This took him over a full minute of hitting it on the ground while the entire restaurant was watching him do so. He actually broke the dustpan, he was hitting for so long. I NEVER send food back. In my entire life, maybe 2 or 3 times. For transparency, Caesar salads are my favorite type of salad and I've eaten no less than 100 of them in my life, many from different establishments. This was the first one I've experienced like this. We were still charged for the side salads that we hardly could touch. Think twice about going to this restaurant. I'm surprised I went, but I did not have my phone and I did not look at Yelp ahead of time! A soda is $4.50 and a refill is $1.50. And good luck getting a refill. I had to walk my cup up to the bar to get the refill myself. I had the not so fresh fish tacos. Luckily there were three of them. One of them was inedible. Instead of lettuce, they should've used cabbage, but luckily, I got coleslaw having a feeling that I would need to add it. The chipotle sauce that came with my lobster bites was an extra dollar but that helped make the tacos better. The lobster bites were actually okay. My family and I decided to go and give it a try.We were hungry.We were greeted right away with those big wide Bahamian smiles.The people of the Bahamas are so nice! The tortillas were made from scratch.The tuna was fresh caught and the sauces were so good! I ordered the Mahi Mahi Fingers with peas and rice.Peas and rice is a main side dish down here in the Bahamas.I could eat this everyday and my wife and kids loved it.They do have kids stuff on the menu! Chicken tenders and fries were my kids go to thing! My wife had the blackened Mahi Mahi with peas and rice and baked macaroni.Another Popular Bahamian side.We were down here for 10 days and we ate these two items almost everyday!The flavors were all so good! The location down by the docks is such an awesome experience.Its a typical island thing but it makes a big deal in terms of Ambiance.One can sit outside right next to the ocean or inside the restaurant.Its an open concept and so the nice tranquil breezes and the calm crash of ocean waves fills the restaurant. On Saturday May 24th 2025 my family and I had dinner at Jimmy buffett's Margaritaville we were here 2 years ago 4 days out of the Seventh-Day vacation and lthe food was delicious. Today at 8:00 p.m. I ordered the cheeseburger my wife ordered the catch of the day. "mahi mahi" it was very dry and tasted extremely fishy. The manager sent it back and we did not order anything else. The manager was friendly and nice enough but I was shocked the whole meal was not removed just $28.00 off a $38.00 dollar meal.we went back to the room across the street and my wife had to take a Anacid pill because her stomach was upset. The same day at 10:15 p.m. we returned with six other family members that just arrived to the Bahamas from the airport. they ordered 3 orders of shrimp all three orders were overcooked and rubbery It tasted horrible the waitress immediately took all 3 orders back and we can tell there was a problem with the shrimp. The strawberry daiquiri was good. The second best thing was the Dasani water bottle. There was no Cajun seasoning on the chicken. The Tres Amigos appetizer was not great. Ok, so here's the issue, calling Jimmy Buffett a sell out or something like that is too contrived to even hang my hat on that. We know he is and it's just an immutable fact. But the problem with this restaurant is that it's not a place Jimmy would want to hang out. And, by extension, his fans don't want to hang out there. We were there for approximately 90 minutes, and guess what, we heard ZERO Jimmy songs. We heard Rihanna and a Kelly Clarkson song for gods sake. We did hear one George Strait song which is good but everything else was hip hop. Problem two: the drinks were weak as hell. I ordered a glass of white wine and a shot of their house tequila. The wine is a 5 ounce pour (I'm being generous) and the shot was definitely not one ounce (and it should be 1.5 ounces). The wife got a margarita that was as pretty weak. And I know this is Bahamas but everything was crazy expensive. You know what you want? You know what Jimmy wants? Good food, fairly priced, and to listen to some dang island music while drinking full size drinks. The problem here is that Jimmy slapped his name to this place and it totally fails to represent what HE represents, needless to say what Parrotheads would want when they want to go to dinner and relax and listen to some Jimmy Buffett.
