Wes was attentive, caring, honest and saved me time and money whenever he could, in whatever way he could, no matter how busy he was. I was visiting out of town from Bend Oregon when the AC in my car completely busted. It was a huge repair (compressor) and everyone I called was booked solid. I literally called and texted about 10 people to find out how I could get this situation handled so I wouldn't have to drive 4 hours in the blaring summer sun with no AC in my car. And no one could get me in. Except Wes Ducat at Steve Tire & Auto Repair. Wes moved his entire schedule around in order to get my car in and out on time, so I could get home safely without having to spend an arm and a leg on the repair. He graciously called and texted me whenever there was an update on my car and he worked his butt off to make sure I was taken care of. I have no clue how to repay his kindness except to write this review and say that, Wes, your karma is clear for the next hundred years, bud!! Thank you, thank you, thank you. I asked friends in the area who they take their vehicles to and Perfection Tire was the only place they said they trust, so that's where I had my car towed to.... on a Friday afternoon. They worked on my car on Saturday until their closing time. The problem was not something normal. Jeremy, the tech working on my car, took the time on Sunday (his day off!) to do research about what could be wrong! By noon on monday I had a call that my car was fixed! A quick phone call and 20 min later, Alex from Les Schwab comes with a brand new tire. Replaced the tire and checks all the other tires on the freeway and gets us back on the road. Had appointment at 8:30am for tire replacement and alignment. It's 10:22 , I see my car with no tires on it. The CSR didn't let them know I was getting an alignment until about a hour and a half after we first talked. What could improve: attention to details and urgency. Now granted, it's hot outside, so I get it. I do believe I could have gotten MUCH better service elsewhere. This is my first time using Firestone, also my last. Every Firestone I look up has pretty bad reviews. When I think about how long it takes me to take a tire off, with at home supplies instead of the workplace.. the math isn't mathing . I'm happy that the sales reps make commission, however when it comes down to suggesting tires for a car, please be mindful that the customer matters more than, if they are already going to purchase tires. I dropped my truck off Thursday at 12:30 PM and was told that if it wasn't looked at that day, it…read morewould be inspected the following morning and I would receive a call with an update. I did not receive any communication until Saturday at 9:45 AM, when I was informed that the inspection had been completed. During that call, the acting manager explained that the truck had actually been finished at 3:00 PM on Friday, but no one contacted me before closing. This lack of communication was extremely disappointing and unprofessional. Additionally, when I dropped off the vehicle on Thursday, I overheard the manager openly belittling an employee in front of customers regarding how something was written down. Addressing performance issues publicly in front of customers reflects poorly on the business and creates an uncomfortable environment. Overall, I am very unhappy with the level of professionalism and communication I experienced.
