This was pretty devastating as the funds just are not here right now with Xmas. The gentleman went bone and beyond and really brought back hope in local businesses and hope that people still do care about others. Not only did he go above and beyond he was more than understanding of my situation. Without his help I don't know where I would be with the tire situation. Wes was attentive, caring, honest and saved me time and money whenever he could, in whatever way he could, no matter how busy he was. I was visiting out of town from Bend Oregon when the AC in my car completely busted. It was a huge repair (compressor) and everyone I called was booked solid. I literally called and texted about 10 people to find out how I could get this situation handled so I wouldn't have to drive 4 hours in the blaring summer sun with no AC in my car. And no one could get me in. Except Wes Ducat at Steve Tire & Auto Repair. Wes moved his entire schedule around in order to get my car in and out on time, so I could get home safely without having to spend an arm and a leg on the repair. He graciously called and texted me whenever there was an update on my car and he worked his butt off to make sure I was taken care of. They worked on my car on Saturday until their closing time. The problem was not something normal. Jeremy, the tech working on my car, took the time on Sunday (his day off!) to do research about what could be wrong! By noon on monday I had a call that my car was fixed! A quick phone call and 20 min later, Alex from Les Schwab comes with a brand new tire. Replaced the tire and checks all the other tires on the freeway and gets us back on the road. Had appointment at 8:30am for tire replacement and alignment. It's 10:22 , I see my car with no tires on it. The CSR didn't let them know I was getting an alignment until about a hour and a half after we first talked. What could improve: attention to details and urgency. Now granted, it's hot outside, so I get it. I do believe I could have gotten MUCH better service elsewhere. This is my first time using Firestone, also my last. Every Firestone I look up has pretty bad reviews. When I think about how long it takes me to take a tire off, with at home supplies instead of the workplace.. the math isn't mathing . I'm happy that the sales reps make commission, however when it comes down to suggesting tires for a car, please be mindful that the customer matters more than, if they are already going to purchase tires.
