As native New Yorkers transplanted to Kenosha, it can be difficult for myself and my fiance to find pizza prepared in a manner that we are more accustomed to. I am not knocking deep dish, but for us, if you can't eat it with just your hands, it's just not pizza. Jimano's is really nice. They are happy to slice our pizza into triangles instead of squares, and the sauce has a fuller body than you would expect from a chain restaurant. I love that they deliver (yes, their drivers WILL get lost, but they always call you, you don't have to track them down), and that they offer so many toppings. The cheese is a very decent quality, none of the weird, mystery cheese that masquerades as mozzarella. Their bread sticks are probably the best thing on their menu. It's like your very own bread stick extravaganza! The portion is HUGE, and reheats well. It can be a bit pricey, but they always bring coupons on the box, and you can sign up to get texts for special flash sales. Also, they do daily specials, so that's a great way to save. They get 4 stars because their desserts are not the best. Teeny portions, always still frozen (had them 3 times), and a bit too costly for what they are. Do yourself a favor, if you are picking up your pizza, swing by Olive Garden for tiramisu, or drive down to Cold Stone for ice cream. On a side note, it is super impressive that a fellow reviewer got more than 2 people, let alone 10 into this place. It is definitely meant to be just carryout. read more

I ordered pizza to be delivered at 10:45 and received it at 12:51when I was told it would be an hour. I waited over 2 hours and got a cold pizza. I spoke to the manager who tried to help but there is no way he could fix the fact that I waited over 2 hours for a horrible cold pizza. I am sure it would have been great hot. I have to admit that we have become regulars of Jimano's (which is saying a lot because my boyfriend is an Illinois native pizza snob.) Our favorite night is Wednesday because it's 50% off (you read that right- FIFTY PERCENT OFF) any build-your-own pizza. This is not a dine-in place (not sure about other locations), but you can order it via phone or online for delivery or take-out. There is always plenty of parking in the chain mall parking lot and it's alway a very easy pick up experience. While our go-to is their signature thin crust, we also enjoy doing their "stuffed" (basically Chicago Deep Dish) pizza every once and awhile. If you're doing the stuffed, you really don't need more than the 10" because it is a super dense and heavy pizza pie! We usually keep it classic with the toppings but they do have fun options including roast beef and giardiniera. read more

We ordered a large order for our work lunch. They are 10 minutes away from us. After an hour the driver called and said they couldn't find it. We're easy to find a big building with huge green letters and we have the address and the name of the business. After an hour and a half called to see where our food was. The person that answered said they didn't know where their driver was, and they were going to call them. A little more than a half hour later we called them back because we didn't hear from them. Their answer was well they couldn't find us so they didn't bother sending it out again because the food was cold by then. The crust was tasteless... and just not worth the money $35 for 2 items. One 16"pizza 1/2 sausage, pepperoni, onion & the other 1/2 pepperoni & spinach One order of breadsticks. The bread sticks were yummy! My sauce cover was opened and spilled at the bottom of the box and they give you a great amount of sticks with very little sauce ‍ My total with tip was a little over $40 and just not worth the money. The pizza was not terrible but Kenosha has so many mom & pop places and pizza franchises that are far better and more reasonably priced. Well I can say I've tried it. I'm not impressed. Wow... we have spent good money and enjoyed a lot of meals from here in last 8 years but last few times they have slipped up when ordering grilled chicken breast salad they started putting the cold chopped prepped chicken that they use for pizza and it is not how they use to serve it. Very disappointing so I asked the manager about this he said the cooks are not supposed to but try cutting corners, so he said when you order make sure to specify the chicken breast is whole not cut up.. ok so we did that the chicken breast came raw with pink juices flowing out of it and was so disappointing then called to tell them manager said they can give credit they were sorry. So no problem next time we ordered I was specific as manager told me to be the guy taking order Zack said he was the manager but before was a latino guy with slight accent I spoke to first time. So Zack proceeds to tell me they cannot make it fresh to order it has to be cut up cold kind that they use for pizza. I said no, we don't want that. Then he agrees to make it fresh as its suppose to be. I said if I order the crispy fried chicken salad you put in deep fryer and make fresh why do you want to use the cut up one you prep for pizza when we order grilled chicken.? I told him we been patronizing the place since 8 years and would like it how it's always been served. So the ribs came that night with fries that were super greasy and way overcook like they were fried once then refried so hard and heavy with grease .. not the usual fresh hot kind. We ordered delivery and they got lost - which I'm seeing in other reviews.. might want to invest in a GPS Jimano's. Our delivery person called, was very nice, and it ended up not being a big deal. The pizza was delicious. My mom and I split a pie, my side had an ample portion of pepperoni and perfectly cooked green peppers. I was super impressed with the spiciness of the sauce (not too much for all you wimps out there) but just enough to balance the cheese, toppings, and crust. Okay, I had the best Gluten Free non meat pizza And it was exactly as I ordered, half with what I asked for and the other half (with anchovies) what U requested and it was superb!!! My husband had the Beast with everything and although I had my Veggie Gluten Free Pizza, I just had to have a few bites of his Pizza because it looked sooo good. The hotel front desk guy where we're staying before the house is ready suggested it so we gave it a go. We got pepperoni "thin crust" because it looked most similar to NY style in the flyer. It was gross. The "crust" was like pre-made boboli. You know those pieces of bread they sell at the grocery store? That's what this is. It's kinda like an old piece of pita bread. We've ordered from Jimano's 3 times, once for pizza, twice for sandwiches but both sandwich orders were incorrect: 1st time the driver forgot the salad that was included in the order, 2nd time they completely screwed up a Jimano's Beef, which "comes with" cheese, giardiniera & au jus, and the sandwich came plain with no au jus - other sandwich was an Italian beef which I chose to add cheese and red sauce, and paid for, and it came correct. All three times that we ordered, we chose delivery and supposedly through GrubHub through the Yelp site, so not sure if it's an issue with GrubHub, Yelp, or the kitchen staff, but clearly there is an issue. read more

We ordered a large supreme pizza and breadsticks for delivery while staying at a nearby motel. The woman who took our order on the phone was courteous and efficient. The delivery man came right to our motel room door, on time, and was polite and friendly. The pizza was excellent! The bread sticks, more like deep fried pizza dough squares dusted in salt and parmesan cheese, were not what we expected, but they were marvelous. Usually order from this Jimanos and it is usually pretty good. However, the last two times we have ordered has been a nightmare. The first time the pizza they delivered looks as if it was dropped! I called and I was obviously bothering them! That kinda irritated me so we didn't order for awhile. So just tonight I am sitting on the couch with my wife and I say "wanna give Jimanos another shot?" Needless to say we ordered a pizza and once again I was clearly bothering the girl who answered the phone and abruptly put me on hold and then the young man who answered phone to take my order made it clear I was a nuisance and not a valued guest by the way he was huffing puffing every time I would add on to my order. We ordered pizza delivery to our hotel. The pizza arrived pretty fast. However, the pizza crust was horrible. All 4 of us did not like the crust. The best way to describe it was is like it was old pita bread. It was kind of hard and chewy. We were able to scrap the toppings off and those were good. Next year when we go back to Kenosha we will find a different pizza place. The managment saw my review and contacted me offering to let them fix this and give me a free pizza. Family owned and super friendly. We had a sausage and pepperoni pizza and it was delicious.

We placed an order for a 14 inch stuffed pepperoni pizza. We initiated the call at 7:17 p.m. the order was logged into their system at 7:18. My hubby and I were told it would be only a half an hour. We got to the place to pick our pizza up and there was still time left on the clock to finish baking our pizza. We didn't receive our order until 8:02. This may sound nit-picky, but when a person says a half hour, it should be a half hour, not the 45 minutes it actually took. While the pizza was OK and it wasn't bad, I have had better stuffed pizza from Giordano's. Even my own stuffed pizza is comparable to Jimano's and a whole lot less expensive. Unless the lady on the phone was a brand new employee and didn't know that stuffed pizzas take longer, she lied to us. We won't be back because of that and the fact that she hung up on my hubby the first time he tried to call, stating that she couldn't hear him. read more
