The plumber did not have a mask but was willing to put one on. The original diagnosis had been defective or clogged cartridges in the leaking faucets. The plumber replaced the parts, but the faucets are still leaking. Now he says the entire faucet must be defective. So they misdiagnosed the problem and still charged for the failed repair. Still charged what seems like a LOT of money $500/hour, for one plumber, and this was an alleged discounted price. The plumber blamed the make of the faucets (Moen, usually considered a good brand, we got them at costco), and offered to expensively, but with an alleged discount, replace them with Delta faucets. overall, a disappointing and expensive mistake. Added a star for masking and showing up. Will look elsewhere in future.

This was after they reiterated to us from their sales team how "HVAC really comes down to the install." They then scheduled our first home care program appointment soon thereafter, where they found several things that we needed to fix electrically around the house, and sent estimates totaling several thousand dollars. Today they reached out to me to schedule my first furnace inspection. They said they had openings. I gave them some days. "Oh we don't have availability on those days. What about the following week?" I said, "Yes that'll be fine." They then came back with, "We don't have availability that week either." I told them I am available all day every day and night and to let me know what they can do. The response, "No openings showed...the office will need to confirm the next available appointment." I've literally never seen anything like what I'm experiencing with this company. It's truly incredible...in a horrible (and confusing) way.

The tech showed up, ran a camera and located a blockage and charged us $600. He then stated he would have to return with some additional equipment to clear the blockage. We were left waiting for 3 days with a blocked sewer. They finally showed up with the waterjetting machine and we were told it was going to be an additional $1200 to clear the blockage and jet the line. Their jetting machine broke and they failed to remove the root ball and were unable to complete jetting the line. They demanded we pay them the full $1200 which we regretfully paid on the spot. After their machine broke, their story changed to the root ball had damaged the line and it would have to be dug up and repaired and quoted us an additional $6000. They left the job and have ghosted us ever since. After no response for a week and half we contacted Doctor Drain, Inc. They came out and they were able to cut the root ball out and completely clean our entire sewer line and then showed us a full camera inspection proving that there was absolutely no damage. Doctor Drain showed us how to chemically treat the line to prevent regrowth of roots. Props to Doctor Drain for his honesty. Shame on you Steve's Waterworks, ripping off seniors like that.
