Arrived at 5:00PM at this Jiffy Lube and was told by evening manager that there were 5 people in front of me, it would be a 45 minute wait, and to go ahead and park my car! At 5:45 PM all the other cars are now gone but I am sitting in lot with no inspection. At 5:55 pm as everyone is sweeping and mopping up the bays,I see the evening manager again and he said inspection guy knows I am out here so I tell him I have been sitting there for nearly an hour and still no inspection. I tell him the last car has been gone for 15 minutes and he starts to raise his voice at me and tells me if I am going to give him crap that he can give it right back. He became very combative, rude, and disrespectful after wasting a full hour of my time! He finally says if i don't like the service at this Jiffy Lube to go somewhere else. As I am getting into my car to drive away he begins to shout at me if I "wanted any tissue" to cry about the lack of service. He kept repeating if I wanted any tissue like he was five years old! I have never in my entire life ever been treated so unprofessionally as this evening manager treated me. I was livid driving home. No professionalism, no personalized effort to serve the customer, no service and no maturity with this evening manager. Never going to ANY Jiffy Lube again and certainly not recommending this Jiffy Lube to anyone else! Whomever hired this rude evening manager should be fired as well! Probably the worse service I have had there. Person driving my car in for an oil change could not adequately drive a standard transmission vehicle. Drove it too far forward on the bay, then couldn't find reverse to back it up, she tried to push it back and that didnt work. Also I would put her personality slightly above an asp. I went here to get my car I inspected.,I was told preciously that, due to Covid, they are not driving the cars and I would drive the car in for the inspection. However the woman who helped me said only she could drive the car in for inspection. So I let the woman do this. Meanwhile in two other bays, customers drive their cars in for inspection with employees not getting in and driving thus not touching surfaces in the car. I think the employees should not be inside driving the cars during this time of Covid. And they should stand by this as it's what I was told earlier. read more

UNPROFESSIONAL BEHAVIOR AND LACKS CUSTOMER SERVICE SKILLS-PLEASE HELP GET THE WORD OUT SO NO ONE ELSE IS TREATED IN THIS MANNER-prior to this incident we enjoyed taking our vehicles to this location. Today, my daughter took one of our cars into the Spring Branch, Texas location off of 46 and 281. I had forwarded oil change discount coupon and reminded her to use our military discount as we always do. My daughter calls me and tells me. the woman is not allowing her to use our military discount. I ask my daughter to pass phone the to her so that I can speak to her. She tells me she DOESN'T HAVE A WAY to look up my information which is ENTIRELY UNTRUE. She refuses to give my daughter our military discount. Again, she says she DOESN'T HAVE ACCESS to our info and she also tells me our vehicle doesn't have military plates. SINCE WHEN ARE VETS REQUIRED TO HAVE MILITARY PLATES ON ALL THEIR VEHICLES?? I ask for her name. She says its, Mary. I then ask for her last name and she says she isn't allowed to give me her last name. She hands the phone back to my daughter and states "she doesn't appreciate being curse at by her mom". Again, UNTRUE! My daughter texts me while still there and says the woman was dramatically rolling her eyes the entire time while we were conversing on the phone and speaking loudly. And immediately upon giving the phone back to my daughter, Mary proceeds to the shop and starts telling everyone her version of what just happened. We HAVE NEVER been treated in this manner by anyone at this location. I have no idea why anyone would want to deal with "Mary" or let alone, hire her. I will do my best to let the GM, Chris, franchise owner and JL headquarters in Houston made aware of her behavior. Now I understand the need for YELP reviews. read more

Business was slow. They took forever just to replace my oil. I've had my oil replaced at different locations but this location in particular took forever. They had plenty of people who were just standing around not doing anything but didn't seem to help one another out to finish my truck up. read more

I came in for an oil change expecting the service to be quick as usual. I have been going to Jiffy Lube for many years. There were only 2 cars in the entire place for service when I pulled in. I was quickly greeted and my car was pulled into the bay and the oil drained. Unfortunately, that was as far as my service got for quite a long while. The employees kept stopping to do lots of other tasks: to make their Taco Bell order, start a free oil leak inspection on a car that came after I did, eat their Taco Bell lunch and gather around a Corvette that came in 45 minutes later for service because it was "cool". It took over an hour and 15 minutes to complete my oil change. Totally unacceptable!!! When I mentioned that it took unusually long to do my oil change, the person who cashed me out shrugged and said "oh, sorry, we have had a lot of stuff going on today". I do not recommend this particular location. I will be going back to my normal Jiffy Lube location from now on. read more

Went there for a state inspection. The guy was rude. He got my insurance paper, then lost it, and denied that I'd given it to him. (he later found it but didn't apologize). Then they broke my headlight switch.... broke it off. Then FAILED the car because he said the right tail light was out. One of the two bulbs that make up the right side circular light was out. It was still lit up. He said it failed, and that state law says it's a violation. I know the law. As long as the light on both right and left sides are lit up and visible, it is not a violation. He said to let them fix it, and he'll pass it. I said no. They are looking for things to sell you. I would be very suspicious of anything they try to sell you. read more

My husband and I went in for a start inspection. Drove the 22 miles to our closest inspection place: Jiffy Lube at Singing Oaks. The entire ride we were in good spirits. Talking about taking the kids to a park afterwards. Nothing was wrong with the car. No odd sounds. No odd feelings with it. Nothing. We get to jiffy lube. We all go inside after handing our keys over. 10 mins later we are failed for a missing Rear Caliber spring. They hand us a $565 bill for what they insist needs to be done in order for it to pass. We leave talking about possible options and don't even get to the light at 46 and Singing Oak when we hear a god awful grinding noise. Pulling into the 7-Eleven we do a small inspection and then go elsewhere to get it fixed. The spring was in fact in place but looked as though someone loosened something. The damage done to get to the destination (1.5 mile worth of driving) because of the loose item did cause us to have to replace it. For around $150. What infuriates me is not just the money but the fact that my kids were in the car. Three innocent lives that shouldn't have been in jeopardy. There isn't a way to prove foul play but I hope this give other parents an insight to not trust them with your kids lives. I would rate this place a negative rating if I could. read more

These people are so nice. I had the fastest service that I've ever had at a Jiffy Lube. The young man who was changing my oil came in to tell me about things I could take a look at (like my back windshield wiper) even though he couldn't fix it. The guy checking me out told me about a groupon special that was going on and it saved me $25. Just really great service. I'll be back with my other car soon! read more

I've been here multiple times now, and always had stellar service! Super fast on my car inspection and they even topped off my coolant free of charge. Debbie is a precious gem...and really everyone I interacted with was very upbeat and pleasant. I needed a repair done on my Forester to even be able to recharge my A.C. (in South TX a much appreciated luxury), and they were able to fit me in very quickly. The repair took a few minutes longer than estimated because there was another part that needed replacing during the repair, but they knocked everything off the price they could and kept me well informed (including visually) throughout the process, and I never felt pressured for an unnecessary upsale. All told it was much cheaper than any other quote I had received at other establishments.... Will definitely come again! read more

DO NOT GO HERE! I brought my company van in for inspection and oil change. After ten minutes they came out and told me I needed a new battery, air filter, license plate light and brake light. Then they proceeded to do my oil change after they were done and they gave me the bill I asked for the inspection and they said it didn't pass. I asked why and they said because of the light I asked them to fix them. They still failed my van and gave me a list of items I needed. These items had just been repaired a week earlier and I had receipts to prove it. I fixed the lights and after contacting the mechanic and confirming all items on the list had been fixed, I returned to speak to the manager. I provided all my receipts and without them even verifying the work they passed my inspection. They were trying to make money off of work that was not required. I always support local but will not return to be ripped off by them again. read more

Just to give you an update. I am very dis-satisfied with the outcome of this case. A new "manager" from the Jiffy Lube came out and just took pictures again of the motor. The District Manager, AJ, still didn't make it a priority to come and look himself OR request an oil sample to be done. I feel a complete investigation of what happen to this motor still hasn't been done. I received a phone call from AJ yesterday stating that "after looking at the pictures of the motor, he feels like he is not liable because work has already been done on the motor". AGAIN, we, as most normal people would do, started eliminating what the problem may have been by working on the motor. We didn't start digging into it thinking "it was because the oil and oil filter was not changed". We came across that old oil filter and also noticed the oil was more sticky then what it should've been. Then being accused of "tainting" the oil and all of the run around from the District Manager. VERY VERY DISAPPOINTED. I understand now my daughter's motor is ruined and JIFFY LUBE refuses to do a complete investigation, as small as having a 3rd party come in and do a simple oil test. I hope JIFFY LUBE is proud of the "customer service" we received on this case. read more
