Went today 2/19/16 at 8:50am. Black Kia. Bay 3. I thought it was going to be a regular day. Just another oil change. I was in my car being helped out by Bryce and then Ben and I believe Zack or Zakk was also there too and helping them out with my car. All of a sudden I just hear shouting and I don't know what it was and I turn around and boom... one guy holding me at gun point. I was scared for my life trembling... I tried to reason with the intruder but he would not budge until I heard a loud, strong, voice yell across the bay... "HEY GET THE HELL OUT OF HERE" one yells then all of a sudden boom that foo was getting jumped by all three of the guys. Bryce and Zack held him down while Ben unleashed absolute hell. I've never felt so protected in my life from something like that and after everything happened they still managed to get the job done... I don't know about you guys... but these guys are the best in the biz... 10/10 5/5 highly recommend. read more

15 minute wait at 7pm only one other car. Was told printer was out of toner and the window decal machine was broken. Said they couldn't get the machine to take the extra 10-% off sticker or the power hour discount. Adrian took care of us and was friendly but we were there 40 minutes to Take5 and didn't get our discounts based on coupons you send to us. read more

I brought my car in on a Sunday morning because it was cold and windy and I felt like taking an extra 20 minutes out of the way to drive back roads just to go to this take five. I always use them for my oil changes and sometimes it is hit or miss but this Sunday the crew that was there was excellent. They were very lively considering how early it was, they had great personalities, great camaraderie, and everyone worked well together and they got everything done quickly. Take five had also sent me a $20 off coupon so I was very satisfied with the price. They do a great job with topping off all of your fluids and making sure that your tires have the correct pressure. I just might have to start driving those extra miles because they gave such good service. read more

Pulled up, an associate(older man) waived me to a bay and handed me a water bottle. No greeting just asked me what I wanted and what my milage was. He then waived me into a bay. I sat there for a little while. Three other technicians were the ones to do my oil change. They put air in my tires and cleaned off my windshield as well. I arrived for an inspection at 7:45am and was the first in line for that. A few other cars in another line for oil changes. They kept me waiting 58 Minutes (8:43am) before they even started on my inspection. When I originally asked the manager when he could start my inspection he said another 20 minutes and then stated 'you can leave if you want to'. Poor, Poor management of time. The manager and the employees were nice but definitely no sense of urgency whatsoever. It appears they view their job like a government agency job. Clueless. It's hard to find good help these days but this place is ridiculously slow and the manager was a little curt with his responses. I'll never come back. Exit Sign says 'Honk if you received great service'. I'm uncertain as to why this sign is even there. It should read ' Honk if you received a lesson in PATIENCE today as we are very , very slow at our job'. read more

This place is a total scam. I'm sure they just thought I was another stupid victim they would get money off of, but they tried charging me $350 for an oil change and air filters. They tried telling me, that the oil I get every single time, would only last me 3,000 miles. Which is interesting considering this is the same oil I've always gotten at another place and it gives me 6,000. They also didn't AT ALL put the cover back over my oil - not even the bolts. They legitimately just SHOVED it back in my vehicle as shown below in the picture done by a company I trust & have gone to for years. Wouldn't recommend at all. I have used Spring Branch Oil Well for years but have had several issues with them over the last several visits, including smart mouthed and argumentative employees and taking vehicles not in the order they arrived. After another long wait and getting passed over again, I decided to give someone else an opportunity. This is where Take 5 got a shot. I left Spring Branch Oil Well and headed here. Upon arrival I found them to being using all bays and moving the vehicles through rather quickly. A young lady came to my car to see what I needed and then directed me to the line she thought would be fastest. Upon entering the bay, workers went after working on the car immediately. This is where the issue that kept this from being a 5 rating happened. After draining the oil, they asked which service I needed. I told them Mobil 1, and they said they don't handle that. In fact, they only had their own brand oil. As I only use Mobil 1, i was in a pickle. They had already drained the oil and removed the oil filter. Will I return? No, as they don't use my preferred brand. If you don't care what brand oil you use in your car, then this place will work great for you. read more

DO NOT GO HERE. My wife's car died after getting her oil changed here. Total transmission failure on a car with 151k miles and she changes her oil every 3000 miles. I took it to our mechanic who told us there was no oil in the car and no leaks. I reached out to their customer service center and it went straight to voicemail. I submitted 2 contact request forms and no response as of 3 days later. Go to Walmart it's cheaper and they won't destroy your can Edit: I have called that number everyday for the last three days and left three voicemails as well as sent two emails to the customer service email and still haven't gotten a response. Place is legit amazing. Period. You sit in your car the whole time (maybe 10 minutes) while they do the oil change. Three guys jumped on my van to help. Helped me with the best package. Showed me my air filter and that it was still good. And asked if I had a coupon which I did find on their website. VIP service fo real. I'll be back on the next oil change. I'm used to going to dealerships for even just oil changes but I just never knew about this kind of place. Worth ever penny. Beware, Take-5 is no longer a reasonable value oil change option or vehicle inspection location. They have changed their point of sales software system to make sure they can always charge you for an extra quart of oil...you no longer have the option to refuse and take care of any top off, if required, at home. After this bad encounter with one of my vehicles and having to pay for the extra oil, I decided to change the oil on my 25 year old truck that was last serviced by Take 5. Could not believe they had installed an oil filter about 1/3 the size of what's required on my F250. I have been changing the oil and filter on this truck for over 20 years using Ford, Fram and other brand filters, always the same size until I discovered this big error done by Take 5...just glad they didn't strip the filter or oil pan bolt like other customers have complained about with past service. In regards to a vehicle inspection, be sure to change your wipers blades before you show up...that's there favorite go to up-charge...whether you need new wipers or not. I've had vehicles denied twice because of this concern by Take 5. My wipers were border line one of the times, other time they were fairly new and definitely did not need to be changed. I was a loyal customer for several years due to the discount they offered to vets and because I'm old and no longer wanted to change my oil. However, nobody likes incorrect filters installed on their vehicle and unnecessary add-ons like extra oil and filters. I will say the employees that I have encountered have been nice and respectful on my previous visits...I just don't know if corporate or the individual shop managers are pushing the employees with all the add-ons...corporate definitely changed the software to prevent you from refusing the extra quart of oil and the reason why I will never visit their place of business again. read more

I needed an inspection and had parked near this place many times when eating next door. So I drove up for the inspection and they got me right in. Did the whole inspection with me in the vehicle and it took about 5 minutes. Great service, will definitely come back here for all of my vehicles inspections. read more

The take 5 team were very polite and the synthetic oil change was very fast. They discussed the options of different synthetic oils and why one might be better for my truck with higher mileage. I took my auto back to them to do annual inspection. They failed it because of the factory window tint. They passed this same car the last two years. And they did not refund me my money. Do not do business with them. I asked them if any rules changed and they said no. Sounds like a renegade opportunistic guy wanted more money to pass the car. read more

I went in Saturday the 19th and there was a young kid named James that was smoking while next to my car which was very unprofessional and then he was cussing... very unprofessional and was not impressed with his service or ethics , during the service there was a girl named destiny who was very unprofessional to the employees and did not make the customer the priority while arguing with employee was more important than the service. I came in for an oil change and was falsely told my car only took synthetic oil, which was a lie because I checked my manual beforehand so I was told this because they wanted to charge me more. I was also told I needed a new cabin air filter but again was false. I will tell people to avoid this stop and will not return to this location. read more
