I made an appointment, which was very easy and quick, and Carlos took it in. He recommended reprogramming it, not replacing, got the problem corrected for about $800. Everything is now running smoothly. In addition he pointed out an issue with my battery connection, and I was able to take my car back to the quick oil change place I use and get them to fix it for free. I found this place on Yelp and noticed that one of my Yelp friends (Glen H) had rated this place very highly. With that in mind, I headed off in my daughter's car to get it taken care of. I drove up and was immediately met by one of the employees. She asked what she could help me with, found out it was an oil change, and directed me into the nearest bay. Another worker immediately went to work and had the job completed very quickly. While I was waiting, I found that they had a 10% off discount with an offer on the internet. I talked with the cashier about using it and she said they take it off the bill when you pay:-) After the oil change was completed, a technician came in to tell me what he had done. He also recommended that the rear brakes be replaced within a couple of months. He said they offered that service and would be happy to do it when we decided to get it done. Will I return? I will next month for my wife's car inspection and oil change.

I received a text when they started on the car, another when it was ready for review, and another with the estimate. They went over everything with me and never tried to push for other work to be done. I googled the estimated cost of the work and they were right in line with what I read. When the car was ready, I got another text. I've never had an auto repair place communicate with me on that level. I have to say that this experience was exceptional and I am more than happy with the work and the people. I would highly recommend Christian Brothers.

WOW. This place has issues…read more I was not going to give them a particularly bad review... until they sent me a very rude and patronizing email, including statements that are simply NOT TRUE. First of all, when I called to inquire about a diagnosis on my car I was NOT told the price of the diagnosis. Also, I was told that there IS a 10% veteran discount. After the diagnosis (which was more expensive than it should have been), I received a text asking for feedback on my experience. I rated the shop a 6 out of 10, which I thought was generous! ... Then I received this angry email back in defense. SO UNPROFESSIONAL. A little advice to "Eric"- If a customer has had a negative experience, learn from it or try to make things right. Do NOT argue with them and try to tell them that they are wrong or lying. Have you ever worked in customer service?! Get it together, man. I will NEVER recommend this place to anyone. Extremely high prices, terrible communication, and apparently "Eric" needs to grow a thicker skin when it comes to constructive criticism. DO NOT take your car here.
