I was still only charged the price of a normal alignment, and was told this was because I was not given an estimate or labor cost before fixing it. (The Office reference anyone??) These are not cheap. Be grateful if you get away with paying anything under $1000 for repair. Mine costed $1700. AAA worked with McNiels auto care to ensure it was replaced and paid for. Your insurance normally covers this theft under comprehensive insurance FYI. Call your insurance and give them your mechanics info. As soon as they reviewed the damage, Andrew took pictures and sent me a link detailing exactly what the extent of the damage was. I was able to review the pics myself. AWESOME TOUCH! Never have I seen an auto mechanic use technology in this way to keep their customers updated. After this, Andrew called me to ensure I understood exactly what happened and what was needed in order to repair. It took them about a week total of ordering the part and installation.
