I should have definitely checked the reviews before getting my truck serviced went in for an oil change and front brakes they told me I needed my rotors changed when getting my brakes done and being that my daughter drives the truck I got them replaced the same day the oil light came on I had to add more oil and now my APS light is on and I have no brakes lights I will be doing some investigation into the work that was supposedly done and if any of the work was actually done I would not be recommending this place to anyone! it was the absolute worst read more

The person that inspected my car didn't keep their mask up to cover their nose and mouth the whole time, didn't socially distance while she wasn't wearing her mask correctly, and touched a bunch of shared work equipment and her personal cell phone, then entered my car using the same pair of gloves she used when she touched the aforementioned things. It doesn't really matter if companies have mask and glove policies during a pandemic if they don't teach their employees how to use them. I have been going to this jiffy lube for 5 years , I had the most terrible experience , in December I did an oil change for full synthetic for 99.00 less a coupon for 26.50 . So a great oil change for 72.50 I went today for same oil change mention there was an Groupon for 89.99 with tire rotation , I got no tire rotation and when you look at receipt it says wash exterior windows completed and vacuum floors completed , neither was done . I brought it up to the manager who was so rude and violently tapped keyboard to pull up previous invoice and he showed me I paid 99.00 and I pointed out there was a 26.50 coupon applied and he said do you have any other questions and walked out . Do no go here , go across the street to the other jiffy lube owned by the same person . This manager is horrible,'I should have used the Groupon for 89.99 which they make no money on , and gotten my tire rotation and windows cleaned . This was a tough call on the overall rating for this location. Everyone did their job, but there was such a lack of enthusiasm. One of them was walking around like a zombie and another was just walking around. Two of the 5 people working there looked like they actually wanted the job. I gave it a 3 because the work needed on my car was done satisfactorily. If all I were rating was the enthusiasm, I'd probably go much lower. I came in for an oil change 2-3 months ago and was told I should replace my front brake pads, due to them being at 3mm. I kindly declined to do that on the same day, but today took my car into a different place to get them replaced. Unfortunately had a tech that didn't screw on oil filter on all the way and about 2 Quarts ended up on driveway when I called Kelvin asst. manager offered an apology and would give me the next oil change free. Well when I arrived for that service it wA denied. So I paid for a oil change that could of ruined my car cleanup costs for my driveway and they didn't honor agreement. Stopped by Jiffy Lube for an oil change on a Monday morning around 8:10 am and finished up in about 20 minutes. The employees were nice and welcoming, and explained everything about my service clearly. They didn't try to up sale me on anything unnecessary and promptly completed the oil change. They cleaned all of the windows for the car and offered free fluid top offs until my next service. Everything went great, and I would definitely return for my next oil change. read more

Service was friendly and semi-quick to get my car out. However I noticed a lot that they advertise that is done with an oil change was either half or not done at all. Only the carpet in the front was vacuumed, windows were not washed at all, the cabin air filter was not checked and I doubt tire pressure was looked at, also the oil life on my car was not reset back to 100%. Been going here for a while but think i may look elsewhere next time if all i am getting out of it is the oil changed. I've been here twice - both times I got the upsell treatment that is typical of a lot of corporate quickie lube shops. On my last visit I was told my manufacturer requires synthetic oil (they don't). While the cap states 0W-20, that is the premium recommended but not required. I got into an argument with the clerk because she insisted that my car must have the synthetic oil. After I asked to have them take my car down so I could take it somewhere else, they finally agreed to put the conventional 5W-30 in. Having an imperceptible change in fuel economy that synthetic gives is not worth paying an additional $40. The manager tried to tell me the conventional oil could cause engine trouble. Tell that to the millions of people who have conventional oil in their cars. I can just about hear Click and Clack rolling on the floor with laughter. The last straw was when they made sign a wavier stating I refused the recommended premium oil service and I would not hold them responsible should my car engine blow up from having lesser grade motor oil in it. I should have refused to sign it but I laughed out loud as I put down my signature. Got the right message across anyway. Even the Mazda dealership doesn't give me this much trouble when I ask for the dino oil. Sorry, Jiffy Lube, you blew it! read more

There's a reason it's also called the "Iffy Lube". A few years back the Jiffy Lube brand was heavily damaged when an undercover local news investigation in California confirmed the chain was systematically charging for services it was not performing; otherwise called a scam. And not just one here another there, almost all of them. Management was actually instructed by corporate to defraud it's customers. After a few shake ups they seemed to have cleaned up their act with a much stronger emphasis on customer service/satisfaction. But still, I'm leery of the JF, not just because of the scams, but because it's always a crap shoot, like getting your haircut by a strange woman at a discount chain barber. When they're good, no problems, no complaints, nice job. But when they screw it up they hold nothing back. Generally I don't have problems, but there have been mistakes. The good is that they are usually pretty fast, pretty friendly, and thorough. They do try to upsell you to more expensive brands and services using the "manufacturers recommendations" which I have never trusted as accurate. However I can't say I have ever been pressured or tricked into paying more than I needed to spend. The bad is that I really don't trust the people working on the vehicles. I mean they just don't seem to shut up, lot's of laughter, yelling, and "grab-assing" goes on out in the garage and it makes me wonder how closely they are paying attention to what they are doing. The "technicians" are not mechanics. They are to auto service what a Quiznos worker is to fine dining. They are limited in their skills and abilities to assembly, dis-assembly, pull, replace, and refill, like it was all scripted. The JF is not a place you would take your car for any real work like electrical, engine, or transmission. But when it comes to basic maintenance like oil changes, fuel filters, wipers, they are who I turn to if I have to, but I would rather go to my local garage. Here's a hit list of past JF screw ups: Left after oil change. At red light car vanishes into it's own cloud of white smoke like the Flying Dutchman. Return to JF. Manager says sorry. Also says it's because the car's oil cap was defective, his guys had nothing to do with it. Told him nicely he was a moron and his men should be lobotomized. Left after oil change. Mystery popping sound under hood. Discovered the air filter was not properly installed and and the housing was left open. Installed myself and closed hood. Stomped around for a bit muttering and kicking. Left after oil change. Hood bouncing at 50mph. Hood was not latched shut. Pulled over and shut it. Yelled at passing cars. Left after oil change. Discovered wheel lug nuts stripped from tire rotation. Violently cut tag off my mattress in disgust. Left after oil change. Told the vehicle oil change warning had been reset. It wasn't. Got drunk and phoned in bomb threat to my own voicemail. So you decide. Yes they have improved but not all locations are equal. Some are competent, trustworthy, reliable. Some are staffed by cromags from 2001 A Space Odyssey. But for the speed, customer service, and appointment free convenience, yes it can be a good alternative to waiting longer at a local mechanic. Just be warned, it's still Iffy. read more

I pulled in. There are three employees outside. One guy walks inside. One guy walks over to a computer. The third guy was squatted down. He saw me; never got up. I sat there. I saw the guy inside look out and see me. There was no way all three of them didn't know I was there. I heard the bell when I pulled in and I was maybe 10 feet away from them. I would have given this location 4 stars for being friendly and very quick but when I got in my car to leave I noticed that I was missing about $5 worth of quarters out of my center console. I talked to the manager and he questioned the employee who was inside my vehicle. Of course the employee denied it. The manager simply reached in the cash register and handed me $3 in quarters and was like "No harm,no foul". That was it. He didnt do anything else. It seemed as if it was business as usual. Even though I didn't know about any of their coupons, the manager was nice enough to give me the coupon prices on my oil change and the air filter change I decided to get done there too. My neighborhood Jiffy lube! I have been going here for about 10 years now, and I've always had a good experience. I don't find the staff overly pushy here about getting service done that I don't need, so I like that. There have been changes over the years in the staff as is to be expected but everyone has been really nice and welcoming. I know my sister had some problems with the other Jiffy Lube across the street from this one, but I have never had any issues here. I love the top off service and often come to get my tires reinflated for free in between oil changes. read more

Employees here aren't wearing masks correctly and some customers aren't wearing them at all. I called ahead to ask if we could remain in the car during an oil change, as shown online, and was told yes. When we got there, wearing our masks in the car, none of the employees had their masks over their noses and an unmasked customer was in the lobby. In spite of requesting to stay in the car, an employee pulled open the driver's side door and told my daughter she had to come in to the lobby. I followed her, stopping at the door to say that we didn't feel comfortable in the same space with a customer without a mask. We were told to wait outside by a staff member standing right next to us who belatedly pulled her mask up. After the unmasked customer left, employees spritzed the counters, and we were ushered in with a mocking flourish to pay in person. Meanwhile, a staff member drove the car out without our permission. We were shocked at the lack of concern for customers' and employees' safety. No one should risk their health for an oil change. read more

I went in to get an oil change and decided on the spot to get my tires rotated as well (with a groupon it would end up costing the same). However, the groupon kept resulting in an error every time I tried to load it. Despite my technical difficulties the amazing team at this location honored it for me anyways. Went in for NC state inspection, garage was full already, but got in and out in under an hour.

Tire rotation with no alignment check? Really? After a year of oil (3) and tire rotation (2) for a car that is 1.5 years old I found out my tires are shot from not being aligned. My husband and I go here for most of our car services. We love this place, they are so quick and kind! They never try to sell us a bunch of bs and are always honest. When they are done, they pull the car around for you and open the shop and car door for you. They always take their time to explain things and don't talk over you when you ask something like most of the other places we've been to. Never had a problem with them. read more
