I have a mini Cooper so, I have to take my car to places that service that kind of engine. I have been bringing my car to this location for several years. I have always been more than satisfied with the service! Yesterday when I was in for an oil change the guy set the counter made sure what kind of oil we wanted. He was professional and courteous. When we asked about the Yelp discount he was happy to apply the $10 off cupon. We walked over to Winco and when we came back 20 minutes later my car was done and good to go! This place is awesome. They have a nice air conditioned waiting area with complimentary coffee and a flat screen TV to keep you entertained while waiting for them to work on your car. I don't think anyone could ask for better service or a better waiting area. We highly recommend this place! read more

Be Careful. I rely on the Standards of the Jiffy Lube "name' to "know" that I can count on them to do a professional trustworthy job with my vehicle. I use Jiffy Lube all the time in San Marcos and elsewhere as they do a great job. Today I pulled in to get an oil change at this location on the 210 to be "told" that my 2013 Nissan Armada would only allow Synthetic oil and the cost is 110.00. After I explain that I always use conventional oil and do not want to switch from conventional to synthetic I was treated rudely. I left without doing an oil change here and after seeing the other reviews I feel fortunate. Once I got home I checked the owners manual for any mention of synthetic and there was none. Terrible service, I took my brand new car for oil change and they damaged the oil drain plug. I parked my car in the garage and did not drive it for 5 days until my wife noticed a big oil spill all over the floor. I took the car back and they told me they found a little crack on the oil filter, so they replaced and is good now. Two days later, the same thing, so I took the car back. This time they claimed the oil plug was lose so the fixed it again. I am waiting to se what's next, if still dripping oil, I am taking it to the dealer and have them fix it. I will be charging them whatever the dealer charges me. Last time I visit them, they don't give a shit about your car. read more

Only one star because there is no option for 0. Anyhow, my parents came here a couple of times and were surprised by how fast the service was being done even recommended a couple of people . Come to find out they had their truck serviced here for an oil change, truck started acting funny only a few days after bringing it here. called a mechanic to check it out and the oil in the truck was never replaced!! Seems like they just took in the truck called my mom 10mins later that the truck was ready, took her money and never serviced the truck. Very unprofessional as well, great lack of customer service. Out of those people they recommended was myself. I went in before knowing what had happened to my parents. I took in my vehicle and same experience only about 10mins, just let me know how much it was. Did not offer to go to my vehicle to show me the clean new oil.So I Asked my husband to check it out a couple Of days later once i found out on my parents incident and our oil was extremely dirty! I am happy to report that the Area Manager who is over this Jiffy Lube location called us to say that they would refund the $67, and that their person at that location should have not said no refund, and should have contacted him first. I received a check in the mail as the Area Manager promised. Thank you sir! THEY DO *NOT* STAND BEHIND THEIR WORK!! We took my car to this location for an oil change in April 2017. Their technician FAILED to properly tighten the new oil filter he installed. As a result, shortly thereafter, my car began leaving drops of oil every time I parked it. Due to the fact I had surgery on my hand, I had not been driving my car very much nor did I have time to worry about the drops of oil. Then the drops began to get larger. We took my car to a dealership to see about this problem, thinking it was perhaps mechanical. I was charged $67 and told the problem was the "after market" oil filter had not been properly put in and/or tightened. We called this Jiffy Lube location today, the one who performed the oil change, to get them to reimburse us the $67. The manager said they will not reimburse us as it's been over 6 months. Really? We have clear EVIDENCE your employee screwed up...but because it took time for that failure to reveal itself you will not have the decency to reimburse us $67? Wow...I'm sure the Corporate headquarters of Jiffy Lube will be just thrilled to know that a family who previously had you do all their oil changes will NO LONGER do ANY business with you, and that we will be telling both our fellow Yelpers and everyone we know about how badly we were treated by the Jiffy Lube in Perris. read more

I went in there this morning for just an oil change, that's all I wanted , turns out that supposedly my car needed all these other bullshit things done to my car, I ask the guy in there if my car had to have it done , and he replied yes , your car definitely needs all these things done so I said ok, literally not even 8 min later , I changed my mind about all the services they said I supposedly needed and I ask to just do the oil change and they said sorry we can't cause we are already took apart your car , mind you I called them no later than 10 min , to end my bad experience I was supposed to pay $288 and from them not putting in a $27 filter it went down to $177 after I was yelling at the guy that they were ripping me off! Quick service, topped off all my fluids, checked my tire pressure and cleaned my windows. They are fairly priced and often have package deals. My husband has been taking our car there for about two years & liked it a lot! This place was great until the other day!! Hubby took our car in and asked the manager to please "top off the fluids." The manager Gary told him he had gone over the 90 days since last oil change. True, but we still had 500 more miles before needing our next oil change, so my husband told the manager & manager, with an attitude, told my husband it was policy & gave him a hard time before saying he would still do it. Why not just do it without attitude then??? By then my husband was bummed out with the rude attitude & left. I called the manager to complain about service & he was rude on phone too!! Plus they have people on the phones thre that cant speak understandable english!! We called corporate office & they still have not returned our call! I think its sad they are willing to lose a customer over 500 miles or a week or two in time! I went in here for an oil change, when the bill was ready they told me I needed an in cabin air filter, that mine was missing. They tried to sell me their filter, claiming my service would be cheaper and that it's bad for my lungs not to have that filter. I did not purchase theirs (because it's horrifically over priced) but instead went to auto zone (off antelope and Newport), then had my cabin filter installed by a trusted mechanic friend - who showed me where this filter is and how to access it so I could change it on my own, etc. About 2 months later, the change oil sticker in my window reminded me to go in, so I went in for another oil change at jiffy lube, thinking it would be fine - however, once again I was told I don't have a cabin air filter! How could this be? I watched as it was installed! (And they were even kind enough to walk into the store with the empty filter cartridge) I stated that I watched as the filter was installed 2 months prior, that there is no way I don't have a filter! The employee looked nervous and shocked and just kept telling me I don't have one installed. This made me wonder what is really going on here? I paid for my oil change and left, but I will not be returning to this store or this chain- ever! I feel they lied to me, first of all- removed my air filter (who does that?) in hopes I would buy theirs, and thirdly refused to confront the situation when they got caught. I originally appreciated how quick their service was but now I'm realizing I may have been scammed. Maybe they removed my first filter too, who's to say! I recommend being vigilant and documenting what parts your car has before and after visiting, if you're brave enough to deal with this company. read more

Very rude and would not listen. I dropped my car off early in the morning and asked if i could come after work to pick up. I wanted to pay before I left work, therefore, if I was late they could leave car keys with another business. anyways I was so rushed I forgot to pay before I left. at 4:30 the manager ( I think) kept calling me every 10 min to make sure I was gonna be there. which I was but he was very rude. Came here to get my oil changed. The person helping me wasn't very friendly. It almost seemed like I was an inconvenience. My oils was changed fairly quickly. They stated they pumped up my tires but not to the recommended amount. I most likely won't be back to this location. read more
