I am an 88 year old widow who went to Jiffy Lube in North Ogden for an oil change. When I got the bill it was more than double the advertized price. When I asked why the sttendant said because I told him I wanted oil that got the best gas mileage. That was a lie because I wouldn't have even known to ask that question. I filed a claim with corporate and they said I needed that kind of oil for the make of my car so I called my dealer and they said I did not need synthetic oil. Corporate called again and once again said I need that kind of oil. Also an employee there was constantly of the phone with he said a female employee and talked forever while customers waited to check out. Shouldn't the customer always come first. Hoping I can convince some to stay away from this Jiffy Lube and save them the grief I have had. read more

I went in for an oil change, and one of the technicians, Zane, took my keys and pulled my car in for service, and my belongings were disturbed When oil change was finished. I found my medication left out on the driver's seat, which raised suspicion. This is completely unacceptable--he should be fired ASAP. read more

If I could give zero stars I would. Every single time I have North Ogden Jiffy Lube change my oil they have NEVER reinstalled my splash guard on my Chrysler 300 with all the screws, whereas there are only 4 screws. Then I have to order new fasteners that are $10.00 a piece, jack my car up and install the screws myself. One time they just left the splash guard hanging down and it ripped off my car on the first bump in the road, I ordered a new splash guard and installed it. Each time I go back I bring this complaint to their attention. They assure me that they will reinstall my splash guard with all the screws, yet they NEVER do. read more

These guys have definitely stepped up their game. A car in each port and a small line. Thought i was going to be waiting for a couple hours... nope! In less than 30min I found myself in the port getting my oil and belts changed. These guys went to the extent of cleaning my windows for me while we waited not even 5min for the belt to arrive. Was in and out with in a hours time, this including waiting in line. Don't pay attention to the bad reviews that are over a year old! I don't know what happened but I have no problem coming back. I would give zero stars if that was an option. They were disorganized - you would see 2-3 people huddled up together doing the same thing. And they randomly moved between cars. Most of all - there was NO sense of urgency. It was absolutely NOT done in a jiffy. I was told it would be 30 minute wait, then 10 minutes for the service. Over an hour later (which is why I had so much time to observe their service), I asked how my vehicle was coming along and then he got someone started on it. I also witnessed one of the workers asking a kid if he knew what kind of oil and how much his vehicle needed. Scary! They are supposed to be the experts! Pull up the VIN or your database. I just spent 20 min at the Jiffy Lube in North Ogden. While I was there they checked EVERY part of my car. I needed windshield wipers and a handful of other things. The employee there even noticed that my plates had expired and ran an emissions test on the spot! I had bought a Groupon thinking it would cover my oil change only to find that my car needed a better oil. They took the amount of my Groupon off of the total of my services. Mischarged our card, TAKE the card and make you wait, and leave you hanging and don't tell you when they're done. It's a gimic to make you stay!! They told me 20 minutes, over an hour later my jeep was still in the bay sitting. They told me there tech was busy on another car, no he was standing there bsing with a co worker. This new $20.19 coupon they have is a scam!!!! Wife ended up paying $33. Instead of explaining the hidden charges if the car is a 4x4. Only went in for an oil change 4x4 makes no difference!!!!! Also additional shop fees!! Really!!!! I understand there is additional charge for a half quart more of oil, but $4.99 and say that it's an extra quart. Especially when they are pumping the exact half quart amount from a drum. I'd have to say they are giving the rest of the shops a bad reputation with their deceitful bait and switch tactics. I used the Jiffy Lube in my hometown for 10 years without a problems. I have been using the Jiffy Lube in Ogden Utah for about a year now. There transmission flush machine was broken for over 6 months. The changed the oil in my truck today. I got home and was changing the spark plugs and noticed that one of the upper ball joints wasn't greased, so i checked the rest of the chassis and not one fitting had been greased. I checked the wife's truck when she got home, she went in last week, and not one fitting has been greased on her truck either. I guess no one there has had to replace front end parts on HD 2500 trucks before, but they are expensive. I called the manager on duty, Cody, and he was indifferent, not even and apology. He just told me to bring it back down and they would take care of it. I'm a private contractor and can't afford to lose hours to drive there and back. A lot of trust goes into having someone work on your and your family's vehicle. This place can't be trusted. read more

Beware of Jiffy Lube, if they mess up, they will not own their mistake. If you have to take your car there, watch them like a Hawk. These guys are a bunch of clowns. The oil filter that they put on my Car started leaking bad. If I didn't have the habit of checking my oil this could have ruined my engine. When I took it back they said that there was nothing wrong with the oil filter and that the oil was coming from the oil pan. So they topped me off and sent me on my way. Well I went to the mechanic down the street and he looked at it and agreed with me that it was the oil filter. he suggested that I go back to Jiffy lube and insist that they put a new oil filter on. Well since i was already getting jerked around by jiffy lube I just paid him to do it and then I was going to drive back to Jiffy lube to have them re-top me off to replace the oil that was lost putting a new filter on. Well I get back to jiffy Lube to report that an ASE certified Tech looked at it and said it was the Oil Filter. Here's where the Clown act started. They get under the Car and tell me its still leaking. And then they pull the dip stick and see that when they topped me off the first time, they way over filled my car with oil. it was full to the point I had oil starting to come out of areas that oil was not suppose to come out of. Any ways I got to watch the clowns try to drain out the extra oil with out draining out all of it. I feel sorry for the guy who had to put the plug back in while hot oil was still coming out. Even after this show, they still insisted I had a Valve cover leak. I had them take me under the car to show me. The guy was pointing to an area and said you have valve covers above here and oil will drain down this area. This guy does not know his engines. I drive a Subaru. The Valve covers are on the sides, not on top. At this point I just left and they will not see me again. read more

My wife went in here with a coupon for a $20 oil change and walked out paying $73...the guy kept pushing the 'signature' oil change on her since it 'had what the car needed' even though my wife said 2 times that all she wanted was the oil change that was on the coupon. In general Jiffy Lube keeps screwing me over. In this specific case, I went out to the North Ogden location because the one closer to my house have left my caps loose. The only way I found out that it wasn't a more serious leak was because I went to Midas and they said whoever changed my oil last didn't tighten the cap. After Midas worked on it, the problem was fixed. I decided to try Jiffy Lube one more time because their prices were slightly better than Midas, and I thought the North Ogden branch may be better. I explained my issues with the previous Jiffy Lube and asked them before I left if they are sure everything was tight/closed. The next day the same leak happened. I have called Jiffy Lube and they do not return my calls. Now I am going to have to go to a different store and have them tighten my caps. Hopefully, they don't charge me! Simple solution, regardless of price DONT GO TO ANY JIFFY LUBE. read more

I went in here for the first time for an emissions check. The two employees I dealt with were incredibly friendly and polite. They did an ok job letting me know what they found (what was ok, what was wrong). I am lowering their rating due to some laziness. They had to pull out both of my air filters as part of the test, and they showed them to me. One of them had some leaves on it. Rather than taking 5 seconds to knock those leaves out as they walked back to my car, they put the filter right back in, leaves and all. Talk about NOT going above and beyond for the customer. Overall, they will get the job done for you quickly, but don't expect them to do anything over the minimum requirements. read more
