i am completely outraged and dissatisfied about the security measures the workers at this jiffy lube follow . i went in today 02-29-2020 around 1 o'clock to get my oil change done and as i drove back home the hood of my car flew up and smashed my windshield. the hood of my car was not properly closed and now i am having them review the footage and waiting on the call of some 'general manager' this has been a horrible experience not only i lost my complete trust in them ever servicing my car but i was put in a very dangerous situation where i could of crashed and gotten hurt or could of hurt someone. if i were you i would think twice before ever getting services done here read more

Very disappointed. I was charged $73 for a BASIC oil change. I told them I wanted the cheapest and when it was finished that was the price. I only went there because they were offering oil changes for less than $30 (can't remember the exact price). My worst nightmare. Tried to sell me more than oil change said "Needs a new battery because it's testing low"! It's about a month old! $79 for an oil change and when tried to get it lower by saying I did not want the vacuum, he said it's included and would not take the price down. STAY AWAY!!!! A year ago they cracked my oil pan during an oil change and they didn't notice. I got home and found all the oil drained out and damaged my driveway. Went back immediately and had to go through hoops and was given a phone number to file a claim. Called for hours and I was never able to speak with a live person. Left messages and they never called me back. I had to file a claim through my own insurance company, pay my deductible and get my car fixed myself. You're better off setting your money on fire than coming here. read more

He was very patient with me when I asked questions and I told him about a bad experience at another Jiffy Lube and he apologized for their behavior and was more than helpful!!! I typically go to the dealer for my oil changes, but was running short on time and had also saw that Jiffy Lune was offering coupons on Groupon. Now I can't complain about the service, everyone was very friendly, (except for the cashier seeming very put out for me using the Groupon) but your prices are extremely high. Had I not had the coupon I would have paid $70+ for an oil change. That is a bit absurd. Are people just paying for speedy convenience? Because I seriously can't understand why you would pay that steep of a price for a basic oil change. Overall I ended up paying $53, for an oil change. I sadly could have gone to the dealer, gotten that same oil change AND had my tires rotated for around $40. Needless to say, you've lost a first and only time customer. read more

I have been going to this jiffy lube for quite a few years. Never had any real problems. They are usually on time and courteous. Went yesterday (a Sunday), to get an inspection. Arrived at nine. Guy told me that the inspector wouldn't be there till 10. Inconvenient, but ok. He said that he thought the other jiffy lube near had an inspector there. So I went to the next one. Nope, 10am. So I went back home. Then at ten, I came back. The same guy came out to tell me he forgot that the inspector doesn't come in till 11!! Seriously?!! So I decide to just go back after work on Monday. Get there about 3pm. "Inspector has gone for the day". So I went over to the oil change place down the street. 10 minutes later. I got an inspection. This place will now have my business. These guys took apart our dash and then told us that we had to spend $50 on a $4 filter and that they could not let us leave. Three of them stood around us trying to bully us into buying it. The jerk of a manager still tried to lie to me about how it couldn't leave without a cabin air filter (a filter that was broken because of the way they removed it before it was scheduled maintenance). And a filter that just slides in. I went to Autozone, got the part for $4 and it took 2 minutes to install. Stay away from this Jiffy Lube. read more

Worst service ever! Went in for an oil change and the lady ripped my boot and didn't tell me. Went back to talk to the manager and offered me a refund but the part cost more! Location is in Leander, TX @ 183 and Crystal Falls, is a joke. I had an oil change back in October and the following day I had "Low Oil Pressure" warning. I give them a call and they are scrambling with words and head out to my place of employment. Telling me sorry they had shorted me a a quart and a half of oil. After work I still have "low oil pressure" come up on my dash. Call them again. Scrambling of words they tell me, that now it's my oil pressure sensor and I need to get it replaced. That they have a mechanic on hand that won't charge me much. Wow!! I take in the truck again and then the guy now tells me, you have an oil leak and coolant leaks. Now he won't touch it. Remember my truck was just going in for it's typical oil change. At that time I said you are ridiculous, this place is ridiculous. They also tell me well you can only run your truck for 3k miles then an oil change. I said I use full synthetic oil and it's typically 7k. Learn your oil usage buddy. Same as everyone else that their warranty is only good for 3k is the story I got. I take it to my local mechanic and here was the damage- who ever tried getting to my oil pressure sensor messed up my coolant hoses as they didn't put them back correctly. Oil leak- was due to someone not putting my sense back on correctly, and to finish it off, WRONG OIL TYPE IN MY TRUCK. Jiffy Lube put in conventional oil which created no oil pressure while idling. They flat out refuse to remedy this. They are saying it's my fault for going over the 5000 mile oil change period. They also failed to do any of the courtesy things they claim to do and checked it off as if they did. Piss poor service with piss poor attitudes. Spend your money elsewhere. read more

I admit I do not know much about cars, and as a woman I realize they are going to try to take advantage of that, but my experience was just plain awful! My work sched is pretty hectic, and still I found time on my day off to take my car in. Being close to where I live, I decided to give this place a shot. BAD IDEA! First off, these guys "lost my key". Luckily, it turned out the guy who took them from me just forgot he had set it in the cup holder...and being a black key, in a dark cup holder it blended in. They had to call me over to find it. Ok, I can get past this issue, but it just continued to go down hill. I needed an oil change and of course they recommended many additional things I needed...one of them being that my transition fluid needed to be changed. I explained to the gentleman, who unfortunately turned out to be the manager, that I was a little short on time, he then proceeded to be very rude about it. I told him that while I was interested in having that service done, I needed to be out of there pretty quickly because I had another appointment. Mind you, I had already been there for 45 minutes. I asked if I could this service could be done in the 20 min time frame I had left, and was told no. I appreciated the honesty and asked if I make an appointment to bring my car back in to have it done, and he explained that he could only give me this "deal" if I had it done at the same time. Unfortunately the time frame wasn't going to work for me, so I even offered to prepay for the service, and asked if I could bring my car back later. Still a no go. Ok, I said...I will not be able to get the service done. This leads me to the most frustrating part of my entire visit, which was that once I told the manager that I could not get the additional service done, and that I was in a bit of a hurry...even though my car was complete they continued to make me sit there and wait. It was obvious this was done on purpose! They clearly do not understand that childish and petty actions towards customers will not do anything for their business. Not only will I never go back, but I will continue to tell people about my awful experience! read more

Had an oil change - tech admitted thy had screwed up at previous oil change - gave me free oil change - oil light came on - brought it back / said nothing was wrong with it - took it to Firestone - cost $200 because they filled it with to much oil. Came in to talk to Mike the GM - he advised us not to lecture him, took us outside and stated he did not want any customers to hear. We used to use Jiffy Lube all the time, despite the fact that they really aren't that "jiffy" until we were stranded on the side of highway 69E, on our way to the the coast, over 300 miles from home with a 3-year-old and an infant thanks to their incompetence. Prior to our trip, I took the car to Jiffy Lube for a routine oil change and replaced the air filter. Come to find out, they took the old air filter out, but never put a new one in. Somewhere along the way, a bug was sucked into the air intake, causing our mass air sensor to short out and kill the car. Thank god we weren't far from a Nissan dealership and had it towed there. Once we found out what caused the problem, Jiffy Lube tried arguing with us that they were not at fault and would not be paying for the repairs. Finally once we got corporate involved, they said they would reimburse us for the damages, rental car and towing fees. (Around $1000) HOWEVER, when we returned home and provided jiffy lube with original receipts, they dragged their feet for several weeks before we once again contacted corporate and threatened a lawsuit. FINALLY they mailed us a check. DO NOT GO HERE!! We have since switched to Driver's Edge in Leander and have been nothing short of satisfied!! read more

I have been a loyal customer for 2 years now. The staff is very friendly and they are not pushy on sales. That's the reason I go here. Though there has been quite the turn over in personnel the manager seems to have the same theme with all of his employees which is taking care of the guest. I once had a plug gasket go bad and notified the GM while I was out on buisness. Within the hour he was at my home to check the problem and let me know exactly what happened and corrected the defective part immediately. Never have I seen this before. A staff that works this hard definitely deserves recognition. read more

Don't ever take you car into the Jiffy lube 1705 highway 183. went in there Thursday to get a fast oil change . They already had a bad attitude with me because I told them not to worry about filters , I was in a hurry and just wanted the oil change. It was taking a while and I was the only car there . I asked one of the guys if there was a problem and way was it taking so long. He said the lug was in there tight and the other guy was using the old school way with a standard retch. He was having a hard time. So today I noticed oil leaking from my car. I took it back to have them check. The guy that changed the oil refused to look at it. He said there was a note on my invoice that the plug was bad and he even put a different one on , the oil pan was soft and there is nothing they could do. So I looked on my invoice. THERE was No NOTE on the invoice at all , they never told me anything was wrong . Then let me drive off like that. I am pretty sure he stripped the plug himself. I have already left a message with the headquarters .This is what I get for being in a hurry and not going to my Guys at Cedar Park Tires. read more
