Stopped by around 9:30 on a Tuesday morning for my car's free first maintenance within the first year. Not sure what their regular wait times are, but mine was just under 2 hours. That being said, the whole experience was actually pretty pleasant. I brought in my laptop to log into work while I'm there and everything went well. Their complimentary wifi was fast and they had plenty of cushioned chairs, three work stations, three table tops, and three seats at the bar with available outlets. Coffee and water were available as well. The place was very clean and the staff were all nice despite being so busy. My maintenance was indeed free without any drama, and I appreciated the complimentary wash and fluid top-off. Can't say much about their pricing, but their waiting room was stress-free. read more

I don't like getting oil changes. I don't like any car repairs. I'm pretty sure my other car related reviews have a similar theme. Xpress took my car at 930 on Monday. an hour later, my oil change was done, but two recommendations were identified - one I expected since I saw some fluid leaking. I was hopefully it wasn't going to take my entire paycheck. When I asked what I need to do to take care of at least one of the issues, I was told they could do it that morning, as in right now. I said yes. They did say it would take about another hour. I was already there and I didn't have any plans to give me a reason to leave. By noon I was all checked out and heading home. The best part is the family room in the waiting area, including a TV, carpet and a soft bench. This meant my two little ones could be in a contained area, have something to distract them every so often. I knew everyone could still hear all the loud talking and random noises, but the seclusion helped them and me. This definitely made the morning manageable. They've got a coffee station and plenty of free cold water. They do have a vending machine for snacks, unless you're a parent and you just carry a bunch anytime you leave the house. read more

They lie about car repairs customers sucks I ask to get my car look at after having it for 3 months it was making very loud noises when driving they blame it on me , after receiving my car back I ask to car and details it I only got a wash the inside was still dirty, the noise did stop after they oil change but I don't think it was that because it's making the same noise a month later, wow ..... don't shop here read more

Stopped in for a state vehicle inspection and oil change on a Saturday morning. I was quoted a wait time of 45-60 min which was understandable and they were done within that time. Price seemed a little high for an oil change, but not completely unreasonable. Overall Service was quick and efficient and I really appreciate the car wash and tire rotation. The only reason I'm knocking off a star is my advisor failed to mention any results from my inspection or recommendations. While waiting I heard the other advisors go over the inspection and recommendations with their customers. I was handed my paper and on my way. Could be a one off and I'm glad everything checked out just an observation. I'd recommend this place and will probably be back again. read more

My son needed a state inspection we arrived shortly after opening on a Saturday. A service tech quoted us an hour of waiting time. So we decided to sit in the waiting area and enjoy coffee. The waiting area has plenty of chairs, is clean, and has two TVs. Cedric Adams was a pleasure to work with; he had the inspection done within 30 minutes. I'm glad we decided to wait. I took my husbands Chevrolet Silverado truck in for an oil and lube. The staff was attentive and did a fantastic job! It did take some time as they were busy. I made hood use of my time by making some phone calls and responding to messages. The lounge is spacious and comfortable. Complimentary water, tea and coffee was available. They found something on the truck that needed to be repaired. They ordered the part and called me when it came in. I did not feel price gauged or taken advantage of which was very appreciated! I ended up taking my Infinity in for a lube and oil and was quoted a higher price than what it actually was! Another nice surprise I believe Chad was the gentleman that helped me. Very kind and professional Have already told my friends about my experiences and will be back when we're in need of another service on our cars! read more

Came here to get my wife's car inspected and was pleasantly surprised on how quick and efficient they were. Got there around 8:30am and they already had a few people in the waiting room for other services. I was greeted at my car and was told what to do, they took my keys let me go into the waiting area and about 30 minutes later my car was done. Waiting room is clean and has little coffee pods for you and water bottles available. They even included a car wash complimentary for me which was a nice surprise considering most places just do your inspections and that's it. They did sanitize the drivers side as well so that was a plus as well. It is located in the Chevy dealership but they take all car makes so you don't have to be chevy owner to utilize this service. read more

Pros: they have quite a few people working, you don't need an appointment, customer service has always been on point, the waiting room is nice and clean with complimentary water/coffee, a separate family waiting room for the kids, tv's and magazines available to pass the time. Con: I guess it depends on the day/time of day how long you wait for your car. I have come twice now for an oil change. The first time I visited I did not have an appointment and I was in and out in no time. The second time I did have an appointment, but it took an hour for the oil change. I don't mind waiting, but that seemed backward to me. Major plus that when they came out to tell me their advice on what I need done in the future, they mentioned my inspection sticker was expiring this month and they offer inspections here, so I was able to get it done as well, which saved me another stop. Prices are average for a synthetic oil change. read more

Dropped in for an Oil Change. There was nothing "Xpress" about it. I waited for over 2 hours, and only after asking twice if my vehicle was ready to go yet was it brought out. I like what they offer for $75 (oil change/rotation/wash), that's more than you'll get from most places at less of a cost. Just not sure I'm willing to wait 2 hours for "Xpress" service again!?! read more

I was having issues with my car and was terrified to take it to a mechanic/the dealership because I thought they would screw me over (like they've done before) and treat me like I'm just some stupid girl but man was I surprised with the customer service here! I reached out to get a quote and they told me they could get me in today. I arrived and everyone was super sweet, professional, and actually listened to my concerns. Props to one of the managers, Luis V - everyone should ask for him! After inspecting my car, he told me I was missing a part and that I should just order it so I went across to Mazda (best left for a different review) and they treated me like CRAP and all I wanted to do was order a part. Definitely will go to Xpress for all my future car repairs/maintenance. read more

I brought my car in for an Alignment and it was fast and friendly service. I had originally been a customer of lambs automotive and got the 3 year alignment plan. That was a bad idea. I had brought my suv in for an simple alignment and after 3 hours they told me that they did not do it but could do it the fallowing day. I got my money back and came here. I am beyond happy that I did. My service advisor was Curtis P. He was very helpful and respectful. This is by far the best place I've been for customer service. read more

Clean waiting area with decent amenities. Unfortunately, you need to bring a tent and supplies because their estimates are way under quoted; you can expect to wait approximately three times longer than what they tell you. Had to leave with no service received after they didn't even begin on a state inspection after an hour of sitting around. Was told it'd be "pretty quick." I'd hate to see the wait for "take a while." No attempt at reconciliation from customer service. Take your basic service elsewhere. read more

I went in for a state inspection and they said it would take 45 minutes to an hour. After 2 hours they came back and said my car had failed due to a brake light out and wanted to charge me $310 to put a new light in. The light cost $50 on amazon and can be changed in less than 15 minutes. They claimed to have called an O'Riley and said it was that expensive and after I checked O'Riley's website, they said it was only $177. I also called Honda who quoted me $177. The best part is that after getting home from a "failed" inspection for a brake light that doesn't work, said brake light worked perfectly fine. So after paying for this fiasco, they lied about my inspection status, tried to overcharge me almost double to fix a working light, and made me wait 2 hours to do all this. Quality service... do not go here unless you are bored and want the working parts of your car replaced. read more

Brought my car in because of their reviews. I didn't read anything negative regarding how they treat the cars or the customers. All I needed was an oil change but I read that they provided complimentary cash wash and vacuuming. When I finally got my car back I noticed my windows scratched. I notified the service manager and after he did his review if the situation he would have me bring my car back in to have it fixed. Today I spoke with Mike Hewlett and he told me he was not going to have my car fixed because I have never been to his establishment before. I told him I just moved here and this was my first texas oil change. Needless to say this was not a positive experience. read more

The waiting room was nice and there were complimentary beverages while I waited. The customer service was great, very friendly. They did my oil change, vehicle inspection, and even washed my car for free. Went in for an oil change for my Silverado Duramax and told them I had my own oil,Shell Rotella T, which I have used since the truck was new. Service writer told me they would use my oil because they didn't carry Rotella. When the service writer came to tell me my truck was done he told me then it was against company policy to use product that the customer brought in and they had put Mobil 1 in my truck. Wished they had told me before hand so I could have went somewhere else and got the oil I wanted in my truck. Wish I could give them less than 1 star. read more

I've actually used Xpress Oil Change Plus for a few years now. Up until my last two trips I've never had a problem. My last trip I was quoted one price and charged $50 more, upon my email survey I expressed I wasn't thrilled about that and they called me and made it right. Jan 2019 I take my wife's 4Runner in for an oil change and tire rotation and it was $59. May 2019 I take it in for the same oil change and tire rotation and it's $89. I asked them how this was possible and they said they were going to have my service advisor call me and go over it with me but no one ever called me. I'll just start taking it to the Toyota dealership. read more

I really, really wanted to write a great review. I chose to come here because I saw some great reviews. Plus, it was very close to my apartment. I am new to Texas. I was warned by a family member that customer service is non-existent in Texas. This experience proves it. - It started so well. While it specializes in oil changes, it also deals in tires. I was having a tire pressure problem and I couldn't tell which tire, so I made the decision to have all of the checked. I went inside and waited for a half hour to 45 minutes - no big deal. The young man came out and told me that one of the tires did have a nail and said that they could try to patch, but it may not hold. I was prepared to by a new tire anyway, so I asked him to just give me prices for a new tire. - Here's where it goes downhill. It takes 40 minutes before he comes bac to tell me that the price of the closest match to what I had, but that it wasn't in stock there, they had to get it from another location. He gave me the option of waiting, airing up the tire enough to get home and come back tomorrow, or they could use the shuttle service to take me home. I live close-by and don't need to drag this out any longer. So I chose to get a ride home. - The driver would be pulling right up. I wait, and wait, and wait. Another 40 minutes pass before the ride comes. I go home and get busy with other things at home. Around 3:15 I get a call that my car is ready and they would come get me when I was ready. I said I was ready then and was told someone would be right over. I stopped what I was doing and went outside to wait. An hour passes. I called to check and was told by the same young man that had been helping me that he would check and call me right back. 40 minutes passed. Nothing. Finally, I get a call from the driver that he is on the way. It was 4:45 at this point. So, I get back to the office and go in to pay. I ask about a warranty on the tire. The cashier asks if I purchased one. It wasn't discussed, but what is the price for a warranty. (I usually purchase the warranty on a new tire.) The young man came back out and explained to me that because my car is not a GM, they can't sell me a warranty. - Wouldn't that have been something to tell me up front? I could go to another tire place and purchase a warranty, but they couldn't sell me one. Why didn't I just buy the tire from another place then? That should have been communicated to me before I purchased the tire. I have never heard of such a thing. - I feel like I've been swindled. I will not use this place again! My only positive. They did wash my car for free. read more

After having a really great experience in their service department a year ago, I came back for an oil change. There are thousands of quick oil change places out there and many are decent, but the problem I frequently have is these places recommending unnecessary service items and upselling. I thought this place would be different given my past experience but during their "complementary inspection" my vehicle was written up for several normal service items marked as "needs immediate attention", which the owners manual for the car doesn't list as being due for another 6,000 miles. I brought this up to the tech, and even showed him the owner's manual which stated the maintenance schedule - only to be told that his training indicated these items were needed earlier. I immediately e-mailed the service manager for clarification (I continue to leave open the possibility I may be mistaken or missing something here) but he never responded despite listing his contact information on the website. This place isn't worse than other oil places. They took a reasonable amount of time and did the work. But honestly, it's not better than most other oil change places either. read more

This is part of the nearby Chevy dealership, so expect dealership type of wait times. I didn't know this and I took my Toyota here - complete waste of time. So, if you drive a Chevy and have time to burn, this is your place. Otherwise, go somewhere else. read more

But he was kind in price matching a competitor for me, and kept me updated on how much longer my services were going to take through the whole process. I struggled with giving these folks just one star, but -- In reality, their pricing is competitive, and they are somewhat convenient. The problem, though, is that, out of the last 4 visits, 3 of them came with problems. After the second occurrence, we were told the issues were resolved, so we gave 'em another chance. And, now, it happened, again. :( What's frustrating is that my wife wants to take care of this SIMPLE maintenance herself and, yet, she's not familiar enough with this SIMPLE maintenance to know, when it has *not* been performed or has *not* been performed properly. The employees really do not seem to care; the manager just explains it away; and, the owners are unresponsive. Very, VERY disappointed. read more

They are super friendly, no appointments required, feature a super clean and comfortable waiting room (choices of several different coffees and teas and free waters as well as free popcorn). Okay, the place is new so I expected it to be nice and shiny. What I didn't expect was the incredible service. I honestly can't think of a single area that wasn't A+. I was greeted on the driveway by a courteous attendant who asked if I had an appointment (I didn't). No problem. I was invited into the office and was greeted by a service advisor (Ashley) who was efficient and professional. She showed me to the waiting room (comfortable and spotless) and showed me the amenities (coffee, water, restrooms, etc). The free wi-fi was actually high speed, and the restroom was spotless. I needed nothing more. Ashley returned in less than 30 minutes and told me I was good to go. Wow--the truck was even washed, something I didn't expect at a "quick lube" joint. I must admit that I stopped by to get the free oil change that came with my new truck--I usually do my own maintenance--but this experience was so great that I might change my habits! I hope they can maintain this level of service; if so, I'll be back again and again. read more
