Jiffylube was by far the best experience I've had at a shop. I was pretty much forced into taking my car into the shop to get my oil changed because the last place was either negligent or trying to force recurring business. I had been doing my own car maintenance for the last 11 years or so, so I kind of know what I'm doing when it comes to my car. Not to oust a business or anything, but let's call them 'Fallmart'. I had just moved to a different state and didn't have any tools with me to do the work myself almost a year ago, so I went to Fallmart and they changed my previous oil for a fraction of the price of Jiffylube... It clearly showed now that I have all my tools to work on my car again when maintenance time came along. I went under my car to do everything and what do I find? What is supposed to be a hexagonal bolt completely stripped and impossible to use a wrench or any tool supposed that is meant for the job. It was also put on so tight that I wasn't even able to get it loose after trying a few different ways to get the bolt off. This makes complete sense of why the bolt was completely stripped and ruined. Fallmart basically forced me into having to take my car into a shop to get my very easy to do oil change. I must thank them for that though, because I had such a pleasant time at jiffylube. Courteous employees that explained everything, even if I already knew it which they were able to tell but wanted to make sure all the facts were given. Brought out fresh coffee, very pleasant to chat with while waiting, they even held the doors open for me. This place has amazing service! They even changed the bolt that Fallmart ruined at no extra cost because they had one in stock. The only item I wasn't happy about was that I only needed an oil change, but their bare bones package had way more than what I needed to do. However, if I needed anything else in that package other than just an oil/oil filter change.... I would definitely go back because it would cost literally a few dollars more to let them do the work and provide all the materials which saves me time AND the hassle of doing the labor. I do recommend always checking the website for any promotions or coupons that they have going on. I was able to save $5 on the cost by doing this. They even honored the expired coupon because it was still on the website. What you get for the price of their packages are well worth it if you need multiple things done. read more

This shop quite literally ruined my car. They left the oil drain plug loose, causing it to fall out while the car was driving. All the oil of course drained out rapidly and the engine was ruined in seconds. I have submitted a complaint to both the corporate customer feedback line as well as to this franchise specifically. For over a week now have been without any response or evidence of resolution. Each time I call for an update, I am told that "someone will reach out" to me, but that never happens. I like this place. Been a customer for five years. I know there are other Jiffy Lube locations and other service providers. Despite moving 10 miles south, I wanted to come back to "my" Jiffy Lube. Car registration due today. Inspection failed due to condition of the tires. I knew they were bad and I'd have to replace them this fall. So I got the oil changed, bought some spiffy new tires (that I needed anyway), came back to pass the inspection. Never felt scammed or disrespected. Thank you. I came to get an inspection, they told me before they pulled it in that I would need tires and they wouldn't want to pull it in and fail me. I went to a tire shop and put in brand new tires, came back in 45 minutes and now they're saying that my headlights are dirty.... Then he says but I'm going to do it for you....I just said never-mind. What he was about to try and do was get me to let him clean my headlights for a fee that he would pocket. I have gone here for over a decade for oil changes and vehicle inspections on our 4 cars. Today my wife took my truck for the annual inspection and oil change, and they insisted that my wipers needed to be replaced or they would fail the inspection. I just bought these wipers 2 weeks ago; they were brand new. Jiffy Lube charged my wife $79.98 for the new blades! I insisted on getting back the old blades, which cost me $20 and are brand new. This facility was previously managed by a very nice woman. She did a great job. And I have been going there for over 6 years. It has since changed management. I took my car in for an oil change. I have a little over 38,000 miles on a 2018 Camry. The man taking care of me said I needed to have my rear brake pads and rotors replaced. My pads were really bad and my rotors had 2cm - 6cm left??? I said well can I see the rotors Because I can't believe my rotors need replaced when I have such low mileage. Maybe my brake pads. He said they couldn't "show" me my rotors without beginning the job. And could not guarantee work on my brake pads without replacing my rotors.. I declined both. My man can do brake pads. So I get home, my man removes the wheels etc. We check things out...my brake pads didn't need replaced. And my rotors are practically new....so disappointed in this place. My father was a mechanic. He taught me what to look for and how to maintain a car....Guess they thought as an older woman they had a sucker. So disappointed, I don't who to trust anymore. They lost my business and my man's. We own four cars in our family. I hope their deceit was worth it. read more

Possibly the friendliest car service center I have ever been in. They always open doors, smile, and sincerely greet me, explain all facets of what is going on with my car, including seeing the current filters which they think may be due for a change. I then can decide. The waiting room has good wifi, is comfortable, and there's coffee, but the service is so fast that it usually doesn't get cooled to a drinkable temperature before my car is ready and it's time to go. The work area, visible through large sheets of safety glass, is orderly and clean, showing pride of place, as well as pride of workmanship. It gives me confidence to glance over and see someone working on my car, rather than wondering if they're just back in the back on a smoke break. As soon as my car is out of warranty, I will start bring it here, along with the rest of the family's cars. read more

They told me there was NO oil in my car (Bone Dry) wanted to know if I wanted the oil changed... then supposedly my rear brakes were wore out "basically metal on metal"... if the brakes were metal on metal the car wouldn't pass inspection! BUT THEY PASSED MY CAR!!! They charged me an additional $10.00 for tinted windows! My windows aren't tinted in the front or front sides. There was no reason to check windows that have no tint according to NC State law! WOMEN BEWARE THIS COMPANY WILL TAKE ADVANTAGE OF YOU AND YOUR LACK OF KNOWLEDGE OF NC STATE CAR INSPECTIONS. Beware! How do I know this... because my fiancee works at an automotive truck shop in Burlington and checked my vehicle when he came home. Hes pissed off now! Went into Jiffy Lube the day after the 4th of July for a emergency brake service on my mother-in-law's minivan 12 hours later the repair failed due to technician error leaving them stranded on the side of the road after numerous attempts to have Jiffy Lube make good on their failure I have gotten nothing but the runaround from corporate I would not recommend Jiffy Lube to anybody further I could not believe a company after having one of their technicians make a mistake would just blow off customers I am exceptionally disappointed and Jiffy Lube read more

I recently went to get an oil change and tire rotation here. My fiancée and I decided on Wednesday to head to the beach with our kids. In our way there my truck was making a funny sound pulled over to see what was going on nothing visible. So we kept driving we got to the beach sound we were hearing hit a little louder. The next day we started to head home and 15 min later on the freeway sound got louder it actually sounded like we had a flat the steering wheel was shaking so we stopped at a gas put air in the tires we saw need some. We kept going 30 min later I heard a big thud n the truck just went off the freeway. Once we were pulled over to the side of the freeway we tried getting a Lyft a tow truck no one wanted to com to where we were. We were literally in the middle of no where barely had any signal. So we started walking to the nearest exit which was 4.3 miles away. After walking almost 2 miles thankfully a deputy sheriff pulled over to help us as well as a state trooper called a local tow truck had my truck towed to the nearest exit. When the tow guy got there checked out the car I only had two nuts on my tire n they were loose the other three had came off. So the deputy and state trooper Dropped us off at the gas station and the tow guy dropped off my truck there as well. We tried getting a Lyft no one wanted to take us home the fact we were 2 hrs away. So we called a taxi from Raleigh who charged us almost $400 dollars just to get us home. We waited a very long time because two hours Lyft kept searching for a driver oh let me tell you when the truck threw me off the freeway it was 8:15pm by the time the deputy pulled over to help us it was almost 10pm by the time we towed the truck n got to the gas station it was 10:45pm. The taxi didn't get there until 3:30 am, I got home at 5:45 am. I cried my eyes out the moment I got home I had my children my 8 yr old daughter n 10 yr old son walking almost 2 miles. So we found a road side service to go out there and fix our tire the next day. The moment he got there and took the tire off he told us the last person to touch the tires didn't screw the nuts on right. I have called corporate and now that the Can't find the invoice after I explained my situation DONT GO HERE!!! me and my family could have been in a very bad car accident or worse right now!! The folks at this Jiffy Lube are friendly and courteous... but when I took my car in for an inspection recently I decided to get an oil change and have the fluids topped off for convenience sake . I usually service our cars myself, but I knew we had a power steering leak and were about due for an oil change. The first thing I discovered was that no power steering fluid was added at all. I don't know if they checked any other fluid - but the steering reservoir was very low. The next thing I noticed was a pretty substantial oil leak. It turns out the oil filter was hand tightened at best and was oozing quite a bit. It probably would have unscrewed itself onto the pavement in the near future. They over-compensated for that with the drain plug which was so tight I needed a cheater bar to break it loose. So someone in the garage had a really off day and I doubt it was their only one. This kind of inattention to very important details burns me up. There is no excuse for it, and it's so rampant in car maintenance establishments it's made me resolve again to do as much of my own work as possible. Take some pride in your work folks! Not only is it the right thing to do and very important for people who depend on you to keep them safe and not ruin their investments -- but it also makes your life better. THE HOOD TECH DOUBLED THE GASKETS DURING AN OIL CHANGE. OIL POURING OUT. The car lost enough oil to where it was not making it back to that store and it was a matter of minutes before the engine would seize/lock up. The supervisor said to wait and see if they can get someone to drive almost an hour to see what the problem is, bring the car back (not a good answer, the car would not have made it back) or to have it towed to them and they were not paying for the tow. read more

This Jiffy Lube might be my favorite. They not only told me what was recommended but they informed me that I did not need to get a tire rotation. I got an oil change with premium oil, changed one filter, got new deluxe wiper blades and topped off my air conditioning coolant (my apologies for the lack of technical details, haha) for about $150. They vacuumed my car and explained each step of the process. The waiting facilities were clean and comfortable. The service was impeccable. read more

I have always received stellar service from this location but my last few visits have been exceptional. With baby in tow, they have my stroller out of my trunk and set up before I have the little one out of the car. The service is fast, prices are good and often times there is some sort of rebate available which they will mail for you with a copy of your receipt. Best service for moms! read more

I watched my vehicle go through their line, and when it was finished I ended up waiting another 40 mins for some one to ring me up so I could pay. I watched vehicles behind mine get out before I did. I gave one star because the guys there were very nice and graciously took my car and did an oil change only 10 minutes before closing... This being said, What A Rip Off!! I went on Groupon and saw they had a special for $38, but the guy there explained I needed to use synthetic, so I'd need to do the $76 package because even the package in between those prices was a "blend" and not pure synthetic ... You know, bait and switch, but hey, it supposedly included a tire rotation, vacuuming and some window treatment... Of course, with 10 minutes until closing, I had to forgo all, but the oil change until another time because it was too late... And even though I wasn't getting any package, they give no discount. I still realized it was no deal at that price, but I was leaving on a trip the following day and it was imperative that I get my oil changed, so I bit the bullet and said OK... After they were done, within a few minutes for $76, the guy asked me for $7.85 more... Why?? He said the tax wasn't included! I use Groupon all the time! I have never been asked for additional money after paying with a Groupon...The guy tried to say that it was the fault of Groupon, but I assured him that it was their bosses that were thieves! So, my simple oil change cost $83.85!Jiffy Lube ripped me off big time!! What a racket!! if I could give 0 stars .. I would. please do no waste your time coming to this location. Especially, if you are a women. They take advantage of people thinking they can overcharge and not do any of the services they charging you for. I took my car here on Monday.. for a simple oil change. The car takes 5qts of synthetic oil. When it's time to ring me up.. they have the audacity to say that a 5qt oil change only.. no tires rotation costs $107.00. normally, I take my car to Hendrick @ Southpoint and I pay between 50-60$ for a full service including full Synthetic oil and tire rotation. I knew, that was too much for an oil change only. When I asked for a price explanation or break down the guy gave me an attitude and said that's the price and if I had a problem to call corporate because they make the prices. So, I left and called corporate.. corporate states that the shop owner put prices for services. So on top of overpricing people, providing horrible customer service .. they also lie. Corporate later emailed me that the price for the service provided is $49.99 and they would be reimbursing me my money. ladies do yourself the favor and just go somewhere. never again will I come back to jiffy lube! read more

Sad. I've received good service from these folks but on the customer service end they are sliding fast. Brought my car in for an oil change and inspection was due - so I agreed to the inspection with the oil change. Tried to renew my tags - dmv said there was no inspection report. I called my this Jiffy Lube to ask about it - the manager got on the phone pretty quickly to tell me this was not his problem, that I needed to carry the inspection report down to dmv and handle it. When I said I didn't get a inspection report, he pretty much called me a liar and said they gave a report with every inspection. Not in this case. When I asked how this could have happened he said that I must have given them the wrong vehicle registration (?). Come on. Be a man and admit you messed this up. I had to come back a second time to get my car inspected again so they could fix their mistake. Trusted these folks for a while, but no more. Done with them. read more

Avoid them. Recently they did not place oil plug back properly and did extensive damage to a friend's car engine. They assumed no responsibility for this even though two separate garages have stated that JL made a mistake and did not give proper service resulting in a blown engine. Avoid them period. Fast is not always good. I've decided not to go there even for state inspection. Not taking responsibility for your poor job = no jobs from me. read more

I went in for a standard oil change and they said my brake pads needed to be replaced. However, when my husband (who has prepared and raced cars for 20 years) pulled the wheels off, there was plenty of life on front and rear brakes.
