What I didn't expect was for them to pull that move on me one second into pulling up for the inspection. I just went to Jiffy Lube in my Nissan Altima and the workers that they have there are actually amazing, they are super nice and knowledgeable about everything, they even vacuumed the inside of my car, I actually am super happy with this shop, and I will always come here to get a oil change for now on read more

The 'bait and switch' system is in full swing. Went for a inspection on 08/21/24 and the inspection was failed due to tires wear. However, they immediately handed me quotes for new tires. Needless to say, i did not bite. I went to another inspection location nearby and the inspection was also failed, but this time for a genuine reason - the horn was faulty. A new fuse and the inspection was successful. This is a typical experience for Jiffy, I was told. I returned a few days later for a refund of my fee. Spoke to a technician, who said he would immediately get the Manager to call me. Of course, I never heard from him. That is the end of my oil changes at Jiffy. read more

The staff is very nice and helpful. My car was serviced as soon as I arrived. My out of state license plate was impossible to remove due to rusted bolts. Pauley was very patient and kept at it for a long time. I now have my NC plate and I am grateful. My family and I will be back! read more

So I'm not sure why all the reviews before mine slam this place so bad. I'm gonna get detailed and honest about my extensive experience coming here for the past few years. First off, service is stellar. They are almost always staffed well. Arguably overstaffed. They churn out oil changes and rotations like nobody's business. Somehow, unlike lots of mechanics out there, they manage to stay polite, friendly, informative and helpful through and through. It can even be overkill with the "sirs" and "ma'ams" and stuff. They let you know when you have questionable issues, they put air in your tires and top off all of your fluids. It's run like a Nascar pit-stop. And when they're done they pull your car around, hold the door for you to get in and wish you well on your way. Prices are prices guys. We all have to pay them. Most cars these days call for full synthetic oil changes. I'm not psyched to pay between 60 and 100 dollars every time I get my oil changed but I know it's in the best interests of my car's longevity. Let me tell you, when you get a synthetic oil change in your car you can tell the difference right off. But I can't tell how many times I've heard folks whining in their lobby about the price of an oil change. Possibly my best experience in here was while getting a yearly inspection done. The screws for the light over my license plate had fallen out and the light fell out of place. They could've just failed me and sent me on my way. Instead they found some screws, put the light back in place and sent me on my merry way with a passing score. That's customer service with a smile if you ask me. read more

We will never use this Jiffy Lube location again. While I was out of town, my wife took her vehicle in for a simple oil change and was advised by the staff that her vehicle required synthetic oil (not true) and that she needed to have her brake pads changed because they were "down to 1mm." Fortunately, my wife declined to have her brake pads changed because we know an honest, reliable mechanic from whom we could get a second opinion. We took her vehicle to the mechanic and were advised that her brake pads showed little wear and were nowhere close to needing to be changed. Of course, we had to compensate our mechanic for his time, so Jiffy Lube's dishonesty led us to waste our mechanic's time and our money. I was also appalled that Jiffy Lube had the nerve to charge $45.99 to replace a cabin air filter (takes literally 30 seconds, and a cabin air filter costs $9-14 brand new). $29.99 to replace the engine air filter is more reasonable, but still very high considering it takes about three minutes and an engine air filter costs $11-15 brand new. Meanwhile, it took about 90 minutes to complete these simple services at this location. I would recommend looking elsewhere for any vehicle services. If Jiffy Lube offers to replace your cabin and engine air filters, do yourself a favor and look up how to do it yourself on YouTube. It is very easy and you will never be swindled again. Also, confirm in your vehicle's manual whether synthetic oil is required in your vehicle. read more

I paid $78 for a basic oil change, yesterday (synthetic blend oil, no upcharges). Service was friendly and I had no complaints (although my hubs noted that it was pricey) until I looked at the floor of my car and realized that it hadn't been vacuumed. Let me explain. I didn't expect for my car to be vacuumed, but after I got home and looked at the itemized receipt yesterday I noticed that it said: Interior floor vacuumed - Completed. I thought that was a nice touch. However, today I realized it had not been. I have three small children and I KNOW when my car has been vacuumed, either thoroughly or even a tiny bit. So, instead of being pleasantly surprised, I was miffed. I probably got a decent oil change, but what does this say about the service integrity? Not much. read more

4 hrs for inspection, and they return the car with body damage, stating it wasn't them, and do I have photos of the car immediately before I handed the keys to them. please. the damage is fresh off the factory from these upstanding citizens, who parked the car in such a way so that when picking up the damage wouldn't be noticeable. read more

Brought the Camry in here because I had coupons and have had good experiences at other locations. Everything started off well enough, was greeted by a friendly face and directed into the waiting room. I was told to help myself to bottled water, single serve coffee, and Wi-Fi. I got a little concerned when there wasn't a menu posted; hate when I have no clue what this is going to cost until the bill arrives... Well the service adviser wrote up a work order and when had me authorize it I told him that I had left a coupon book in the car (on the console next to the gear shift. literally could not miss it) which had coupons for the signature service and air filter and the cabin filter... He said they'd get it when they pulled the car out after servicing (never did but I didn't realize this until I checked my e-receipt later, live and learn I guess...) Did I mention none of the three guys who were in and out of my car got the coupon book even though that was the plan? read more

I'm out. Don't understand how air filter cap and windshield wiper fluid cap can be left off. Insignificant? Nope. Not when you're hitting the road for a 2000 mile road trip and have to stress about what else isn't done. I'll just stick with the Honda dealership for my oil changes. I was in yesterday for an oil change. Things went very smoothly but I noticed my receipt when I got home. Dawn had said that since I had gone 2K over on my oil change that she suggested an engine cleaner for $10 which I was fine with. The receipt shows that it was $15. Also, the check list showed that the floors had been vacuumed and the windshield had been cleaned (they had not been). So I have to ask myself if the other things that were checked off as completed actually had been. Point being, if you aren't going to wash the windshield or vacuum the floors, I don't care but don't say that you did when you obviously didn't. read more

Don't take you vehicle here. Battery died while doing an inspection....and simply handed me the keys to my car that would not start and said good luck. Finally after an hour of me standing around....one guy offered assistance and checked my battery and found it was bad. The worst shop in North Carolina. I brought my car in for an oil change. The did not screw the cap in tight and it came loose. My car engine seized and cost $7,600 to fix. They would not take responsibility for it. Even took them to court! This place needs to be shut down! read more

Do not go to this place they are liars and only care about their commission. I drove from Chicago to Cornelius and was up for a oil change for the ride home. David the manager talked me into buying 3 oil changes for $85 he also assured me that I could redeem the remaining 2 in Chicago. Not the case the Jiffy Lube in Chicago never even heard of this deal. Called the Jiffy Lube in Cornelius and was told headquarters would credit my account. Called once a week for 4 weeks to see why my account wasn't credited. The last time I called you could tell he was sick of my calls. and response was they aren't responding to me either. Tried to call corporate what a waste of time you could only get in touch with them is on line. they want you to fill out a long form and it sounded like they wouldn't get back to me for at least a month. Ruined my vehicle. They did not tighten the oil filter to the correct torque specs causing oil to leak inside engine compartment. Took it back to them and asked them to fix it. They claimed they had to clean house and change all workers only the manager is still the same. Well guess what - they did it again. This time even worse. OK, so today was Veteran's Day, and I had received an email from Jiffy Lube which I almost deleted... But it said I could get an oil change for FREE as a Thank You for being an old Air Force vet! Hmmmmm... Had to check it out... So I've been here before, and no problems, but today it worked out that I had some time, and had 3 cars which all were due for oil changes. When I asked if they'd take another car or two after they wrapped up with my first one, they said sure, bring them in, and we'll take care of you. Didn't expect that, but I was quite thankful, and brought in the next one. They knocked my second one out quickly, topped everything off, and sent me on my way. When I came back with a third, I said guys, I want to give you some business, so let's get a set of wipers for it, and another set for the last one I brought in which needed em too. So out I came after just a couple hours with 3 oil changes, FREE ONES, and a couple sets of wiper blades for 60 bucks. Yes, it was conventional oil, nothing special, but they treated me with respect, and were gracious even though they didn't expect to make a buck off me. Didn't try to upsell, or twist my arm at all. And everyone I saw all day seemed to leave satisfied as well. I'll watch for leaks on the driveway, and come with an adjustment if anything is amiss, but so far, I'd say whatever issues they had here in the past has been cleaned up. And I think, like in a lot of life's experiences, if you give respect, you'll get respect. Jiffy Lube has certainly won my business, unless I find a new reason to not patronize their place. sent my wife for a quick oil change... calls me in tears saying it was going to cost $80+ to change oil. They told her car requires synthetic oil... which it does not! Have put on 137000 miles on this car without synthetic and never any problems! Then she text me saying that they said she needed new wipers which I just changed less than 5 months ago!!!!! Told her no to the wipers just get oil done with the cheapest service. $82 later without getting new wipers (which are not needed) we will never return there again! BTW looked on line and the price was $39.99 they told her it was because they had to add extra oil ( 6 cylinder ) that's why it was so much! I don't think they would have pulled that crap on me if I was there! read more
