Honestly, if I could give this place a zero that's what it needs. Anyone who has gotten an oil change there needs to seriously consider the possibility that they really didn't get an oil change. They pretended to change my oil and filter and never did. I have a 4Runner, a Tundra and some other vehicles. I live relatively close to this place and have been there off and on for years for inspections and oil changes. I've gotten to where I change the oil on the 4runner and the Tundra myself... but recently, I decided to take the 4Runner over there because I wanted a change in a "jiffy"and I didn't want to go through the hassle of doing it myself. Again I have experience doing this myself.... I can see the guy working on the car from the lobby.. they have a glass door. I also walked around outside some to make a phone call. He was messing around with a nut driver but I never saw him fully drop the front skid plate which absolutely has to be done to change the filter on a 4runner. I saw them bring around an oil container to fill up the car, but I never saw them actually dump it in there. The guy doing the actual service was the same person that checked me out it and supposedly he was the "current" manager. I was a little suspicious about the filter and I made some comment about how it's a hassle to change the filter on a 4runner. He just sort of blew me off and said oh yeah well we have to do it blah blah blah. Anyway, the next day, I just decided I was going to check it out. It's a hassle but you can actually look at the filter on a 4runner without draining the oil. He never changed it. But in addition to that, the synthetic oil that was in the filter reservoir was black as tar. So I immediately suspected that they didn't change the oil either. Eventually, I decided just to drain the oil out and confirm that they never changed the oil either....So they literally pretended to change the oil and pretended to change the filter and then charged me for it and more or less expected me to drive around for another 5 to 10,000 miles thinking I had had a synthetic oil change. I did talk to the regular manager the next day and he pretty much owned up to it that yes... it looks like they did not change it. Run away. RESPONSE TO THE RESPONSE : So I'm not even sure that the person that responded to my review from Premium Velocity is actually a real person. I sent them an email with pictures which they didn't respond to. They had a manager from another location call me and offer to change the oil on my car... which I have and had indicated was already done. That's it. He offered actually change the oil and filter they were supposed to do the first time and got caught not doing. It's just a canned public relations response to respond to the review and pretend they are concerned. Again ...if you have had oil changed at a Jiffy Lube you need to verify it actually happened or you might be messing up the longevity of your car. Especially if the oil change involves on your particular vehicle involves any kind of difficulty...they might just Pretend they did it. read more

I went to get my state inspection and the following happened 1st time: at least 45 min wait; guy said come back later 2nd time: State inspection guy does not come until 10:00 am; it is 8:00 am when it opened. Response - sorry we are understaffed and he is the only one on the schedule today 3rd time: 3:00 pm State inspection machine is broken... only response is sorry with a smirk. Void at all costs; not worth the time or effort to be turned away for a state inspection. Save the hassle and go somewhere else. read more

I went to Jiffy Lube Laura Duncan this morning to get my truck inspected. I got there at 8 AM to beat the rush. I was told the inspection person wasn't there yet and they couldn't say when he would arrive. Same exact story last year when I tried to get an inspection. There was one car ahead of me and I waited 20 minutes but no inspector. As I sat there I researched the internet and found a place 1.2 miles away called Apex Inspection Center that promotes doing Inspections usually in less than 10 minutes so I headed over there. They had my truck inspected in about 10 minutes with no issues reported. I can't comment on other Jiffy Lube services at this location, but if you are getting an inspection I recommend avoiding this place. I've used them for over 20 years now and they just lost a long time customer. read more

CROOKS @ VEHICLE INSPECTION CENTERS Took my Vehicle for State Inspection to the Jiffy Lube in Apex, NC (near Hwy 64). After performing the inspection they get down to their strategy to ripping off the customer. They will offer everything from cabin filters changes to brake fluid flush and force you to change the wipers saying the exiting ones are ole !!! This was a lie becasue I had tested them before bringing the vehicle to the Jiffy Lube knowing that they will force it upon me. But since this is an old vehicle I got suckered into being forced to buy this as the least damage to get the vehicle pass the inspection. They are literally crooks and will sell you every unnecessary service they can do to make you believe it is needed foe the passing of your vehicle state inspection. Just for this they need to be reported to the State Department of Transport for commiting customer fraud by upselling unwanted services as a condition to pass the vehicle inspection. - Solomon Borgawker read more

Dishonest. Took my car in for inspection with my wife. As soon as I walked away to go get breakfast they cornered my wife and claimed that the car failed due to there being "no pad material left" and tried to make us replace. I replaced them myself and brought the old pads back for reinspection to show them they were wrong and the manager doubled down saying "inspection requires that we evaluate that the car will be good for a whole year". That is a LIE, and is not at all what the law says. State inspection is a service that has a controlled cost, I get it, but it isn't supposed to be a time to try and sell unneeded maintenance. read more

Customer service here has become very bad over the past 1-2 years. I suspect new ownership or management. I have been using this business for oil changes and inspections for many years, but the latest fiasco with simply trying to get an inspection has now elimated me as a customer. I was told they could get to me in about 30 minutes. They were clearly busy, so i unferstood and decided to wait. After waiting 50 minutes and my car sitting next in the inspection bay an employee told me the inspector needed to jump over onto a brake job in another bay and i may need to wait an hour (more). I was there before the brake job. They had literally just pulled that car into the garage. Sigh. This may seem like a lone experience, but it is one of several now for me at this location. Had been going here for years. Last time had a big fiasco because they didn't have the right filter. Just went over. Had a person in front of me who got checked in by the woman with an iPad. Figured she'd walk to me next. Nope. Sat there for nearly 10 minutes, the car didn't move. I gave up and started driving around, saw her inside the bay talking. Two other workers by the dumpsters smoking. I said aloud to no one in particular, "Thanks for the service." Another "worker" who I didn't see sitting by the edge of the bay said, "Oh no, we're losing a customer. So sad." Great attitude. Yup, you lost a long-time customer with 4 cars forever. read more

My daughter just went there today (11/22/23). When she arrived, she was never greeted, she waited for 15 minutes and when she asked the Staff a question, they were all rude and unprofessional and appeared very understaffed. She texted me and told me what was happening. I told her to leave and go to Take 5....... I got my oil changed here. They were really fast but I did not get everything promised. The sticker in my car also fell off the next day.

I had my oil changed at Jiffy Lube in May 2021. In September, my check engine light came on. I had my car towed to the dealership, and they discovered the funnel had been left in the oil tank, the oil cap off, and I had been driving around like this for 4 months. There were several issues which occurred with my car and I cannot be sure if they were due to the funnel and oil cap being left off. I could also have long-term engine damage due to the oil pressure being so low for 4 months with no oil cap on. I escalated this to Jiffy Lube's corporate office and the franchisee, and they were rude, dismissive, and non-responsive. I am equally disappointed with the negligent service and lack of customer service. read more

I went to the Laura Village Drive Jiffy Lube on Friday after work. I was overdue for an oil change. I was greeted by a very nice man named Deas. His conversation with me was so positive. My interaction with him gave me the confidence that he was genuine in caring about my car's needs. He told me that he noticed my tire light on so he took care of the tires, my carpet was cleaned, the doors were opened for me upon entering and leaving. I was the last person to get an oil change after a long day at work and I was still impressed how genuine and refreshed he seemed. Now this is what we all wish how we could be greeted and helped at many service-oriented businesses. Jiffy Lube, if you read this, you need to keep this guy!!! read more

We lead a busy and a bit chaotic lifestyle on the weekdays and squeeze every bit of fun, relaxing and catching up on the weekends... so to show up at almost closing time, and have these guys have an awesome attitude, a desire to help me get an oil change and have my brakes looked at.... I have never seen such a mess. I counted 6 Employees working and at any moment 3 of them were just walking around and distracting the people who are working. I watched 2 employees work on replacing windshield wipers for 15 minutes. I brought my Toyota here for an inspection 2 weeks ago and after looking at my car for 15 minutes they told me that they couldn't connect the reader to my car because the connection in my vehicle was broken. Brought it to Quick Lane across the street. They did the inspection without a word about having any difficulty connecting. I brought my Mazda in today and after a half hour they told me that the wiper needed replacing. Not in any professional manner but just sort of matter of fact. I told her I would take my car elsewhere. Sure enough I took it to Quick Lane and no problems. DO NOT GO TO THIS STORE. THEY WILL RIP YOU OFF AND TAKE THERE SWEET TIME DOING IT. read more

Absolutely avoid this location at all costs. You see another location with a line, go there. We used to come here for inspections and oil changes all the time. No longer. My husband rolled up with his car and before going around back he was nice to drop me off so I don't have to walk in the heat and I'm pregnant. I was immediately interrogated by one of the employees and I just explained to her that I was being dropped off so my husband can get an inspection. She turns around and goes in. My husband joins me on the bench outside because there's no room inside. Moments later the same girl comes out and said, "you probably know what I'm going to say, your inspection is going to fail because of the tint being 13.7%". My husband then tries to explain that that can't be right because the tint is factory at 35%. We have also gone here for the past 3 years and zero issues. She interrupts him and says "I'm going to have to ask you to lower your voice and stay calm." I just had to laugh out loud because no ones voice was raised. She immediately calls the next in charge to handle it. He comes over hot. He interrupts every split second we open our mouths to tell them we disagree with the reading. He in fact starts yelling at us. He tells us we can go elsewhere and they won't inspect the car. We were waiting a long time. Then he comes out saying it's ~$23. My husband said he is not paying that because they just said they weren't inspecting it. He started yelling at my husband some more. Finally, the manager came out. Tae, unlike the employees we encountered was very professional and calm. He actually listened to us. The other guy came by and stood there and when he didn't like what he heard he started yelling, I mean screaming at us! Tae and another employee got him to leave. Had to physically remove him. Tae calmly agreed that we will go elsewhere to verify the tint and if we were right to go back and he'll inspect the car personally. Trust that we will be visiting later this week. When we got in our car they of course went ahead with the inspection and failed it. They also failed the headlights even though they are in good working condition. They also wrote all over the registration card, which you're not supposed to do. There is no reason we should have been treated this way and or is a terrible look for Jiffy Lube. We feel like they were trying to make a spectacle of us, and that's not fair to any customer. read more

My husband took our car in for an oil change and when he got home I went in for my sunglasses and they were nowhere to be found. I have never had a bad experience here and like to be able to get my oil changed over my lunch break with no wait. There is never a wait here and the team members at this location are very polite and do a great job with my car. They give you a coupon booklet to use and you can always save $10 on the signature oil change. I also like how your car information is saved in the computer profile and they give you recommendations on what the manufacter recommends as far as service at each milestone of the car's life. They will check and top off all the fluids, check your lights and filters , wiper blades and even vacuum your car mats. If your windshield wiper fluid runs low, you can just stop by and they will even top it off. The Go Play Save book also has the $10 off coupon to use. This location also offers free wifi, a Tv to watch and free hot coffee. You can't beat it and the service is top-notch. They really have you back on the road in no time. read more

Went for an inspection. I had left about four dollars in change in my cup holder, but when I checked later they had taken about $2 in quarters. Dick move, but not worth going back to argue over stolen change. Figured I'd post a review instead and go somewhere else when I need to get my car inspected next time. I have taken all of my vehicles here for inspections for the past four plus years with no issues. I take the same vehicle there and I am told it failed due to too dark of a tint. The same tint that has been on the car from the dealer since 2013 and has passed all years prior (garage kept nonetheless). I am given a line about how tint can darken with age which I called the dealership we bought the car from and they said the tint they use has UV protectors in it to keep the tint stabilized and if anything they told me tint fades with age (it takes decades to do this by the way). I will not be returning to this location nor will I be recommending this location anymore. read more

I moved to Apex almost 4 years ago. At first the service that I received was on par will all the previous Jiffy Lubes that I've taken my car too. Until last year, 2011, when they changed from an official Jiffy Lube Franchise to a Jiffy Lube subsidiary, that is currently run by a third party. The service has greatly declined. Staffers fail to communicate clearly. On several occasions I have left without a wiper blade that they were "installing for me", once they failed to correctly tighten the drain plug, and my drive way is now an oil slick. Horrendous. They removed my air filter from behind the glove box when I did not ask for this and declined for it to be replaced. The following day I opened my glove box to find that it completely fell out! They did not put it back together and the screws were rolling around on the floor boards of my van. I called but no one answered and then it went to what sounded like a fax machine. Every time I'd gone back before that it seemed their prices continued to creep up. I used to have all my oil changes completed here but I'm not risking it again. My glove box still isn't quite right and falls forward too quickly because after my brother put it back together for me he commented that it's missing a piece. read more

I was told my all wheel drive vehicle was considered a 4x4 vehicle and was charge $9 more for the oil change (rip off). Also had oil hand marks over the interior of my car that I had to go home and clean up. Found oil prints checking under the holder for my sunglasses (I wonder why those were there?). Came to get a quick oil change. I'm a fleet driver. I drive 4-5000 miles per month. I'm in a jiffy lube every month. I won't go back to this one again even though it is close to my house.
