Was charged $150 here for a front brake change on my 2017 Kia Optima. Quick and easy - financially I couldn't afford the back brakes the same day. Went to a different JL (on carefree highway) to get the back brakes replaced and they wanted $400 without even seeing the car - told them no thanks and went back to the original JL where they said at WORST I'd pay $289 if certain things required it (damaged rotors and whatnot). The people at this location are quick, friendly and efficient. The gentleman I spoke to regarding the price the other JL offered me also said that price was fairly steep and talked to me human-to-human. Would recommend this place to people in need. read more

Came for a oil change with 0 customers 920 am and because the fleet wasn't working was here longer then I expected. Brought my 4Runner for full signature service and received about 1/3 of it. First as I drive up I'm greeted with "what do want?" Not hey thanks for coming in. I wanted to say a cheeseburger fries and a coke. Other issues were the outside windows weren't cleaned and the interior wasn't vacuumed. Receipt shows tire pressure checked but as I sat in the waiting room I never saw someone work on the tires. If you're gonna give this kind of service I will go elsewhere. I doubt this franchise owner will respond but it would be appreciated. read more

They are prompt and if there isn't other customers you do get out in a "jiff". What I didn't like is their prices aren't posted. After I left, I realized there was a less expensive service I could of chosen. They only offered one price and they charged $32/labor! My receipt from another JL charged $7! Never had any issues and these guys stand by their brand. ZERO STARS IF I COULD!! My last service of Oil Change was here in Jiffy Lube, I came in for an oil change in September 2019. Around January 2020 is when my next oil service is due and I decided to go somewhere else and somebody I trust. Well apparently, the guy that did my last oil change here at Jiffy Lube, tore my oil pan and glued it and put a silicon ring around it and DID NOT notify me. The guy I trust that was going to do my oil change could not take off the oil torch from the oil pan because of what the Jiffy Lube employee did. My guy had no other choise than to tore the oil pan because the right tools didn't even work on the sealed oil torch they put. So for me to use the car to go to work, I had to buy a new oil torch and sealant glue (even though oil was still going to be dripping) so I coul at least make it to work before notifying the HORRIBLE service Jiffy Lube gave me. After telling the manager everything, he said that the guy who worked on my car doesn't work there anymore and that wasn't a work they do. I told them that my last oil service was there and they are the one responsible for the damage in the oil pan (I showed them the picture) and still did not believed what I said. He pretty much called me a liar saying that the guy that did my oil change did that and they had nothing to do with it. I then said, as a Manager obviously you are going to avoid helping and paying at any cost and blame it on the guy that was going to do my oil change and that try his best to fix what Jiffy Lube employee had torn. At the end, he offered to install the oil pan but I had to pay for it. Manager still denied it came from a Jiffy Lube employee. Since I was already there and they weren't helping me, I paid the $55 oil pan from Auto Zone. Then, after he said he will install the oil pan for free he ended up charging me $120 for putting the oil pan because he could get in trouble or any of the other managers. I still can't believe as a manager he did NOTHING to help me.I ended up paying a total of $175 for a service that came from their company and they had to take responsibility. PLEASE AVOID this place. They don't care about offering a good costumer service and they won't take responsibility of what they did. Never coming here again or recommending it to anybody. read more

I arrived at this location at 4:54pm when their hours are until 6pm. When I arrived, there was one single truck that was finishing up and departing, so no other cars were there. As I arrived, one employee was sitting in a chair at the back of the building, and I noticed what I think was him wording the word "F***". I opened my door and he said "what do you want?" And I expressed I needed a standard oil change. He said nothing and just turned around and gestured for me to follow him as he looked at his fellow employees and shrugged. I went into the lobby, sat for about 30 seconds and a separate employee (I'm assuming the team lead) came in and said their "pans are full and will need 25 minutes before they could get to me" to which I replied "oh that's fine." This man then rolled his eyes at me and then said "look you should go to another location, they'll be able to get you in quicker." So I realized the employees really didn't want me there so I got up without saying a word, and went outside to get in my car and leave. As I walked to my car, a third employee was walking out and said "you must be f***ing kidding me" as a family sedan came up, and the first employee I encountered said to the third "it's fine, we'll turn em away too." By far the worst experience I've ever had at a jiffy lube. This just happened, I am currently at the Cactus and N Cave creek rd location and they are taking care of my vehicle while being professional, courteous and extremely polite. I wouldn't recommend the crew at 32nd st and Thunderbird, at all. read more

Not only did they not check anything in my car like my air filter, lights, or even brake light, but they also we're arguing about if I should stay in my car or sit in a waiting room. There are a lot of Jiffy Lube locations to choose from but I have found one that stands out above the rest. The employees at this location are helpful and courteous. Unlike other shops, they didn't try and rip me off by saying things needed to be replaced when they are fine. I even stopped here in an emergency when my car started overheating. The service techs diagnosed the issue, got the part sent over and installed, all within an hour. Because of this, I definitely recommend with 5 stars! read more

Today was the last straw with this location. I pulled up and said I wanted an oil change and the tires rotated. They weren't very busy and they pulled my car in right away. Just a very short time later they come in and told me that they got the oil change done but they couldn't rotate the tires because the guy wasn't there. Now, didn't they know that the guy wasn't there when they told me they would rotate the tires? I told the manager that if I had known that I would've gone somewhere else and now I had to make another stop at another shop to rotate my tires. This is the same shop where I had my transmission fluid changed one time and they didn't fill it full and the transmission was missing and skipping. Another time they left oil all over one of the beams under the car and it leaked all over the driveway. Another time I told them specifically that the windshield fluid was empty and to be sure and fill it and guess what they didn't. This is even though their policy is to check all fluids. It makes me wonder if they're really changing your oil. Sorry I will never go here again. I've given you way too many chances. read more

Rus and crew at this location are on the ball and extremely friendly as well as efficient. Today we only needed to have the car checked out before a road trip. Check the fluids, tire pressure, nothing major. We went to the location on Cave Creek & Cactus first (3 employees working and only one other car) but they didn't greet us and left us sitting waiting for uncomfortably long so we decided to move on. Dustin and team over at Jiffy Lube was a pleasure to work with. I started the day with a dead battery. You know how that goes. I got it jump started. I called the dealer. They quoted $190 plus tax installed (I need to emphasize the battery is very hard to reach in this sporty vehicle even for a contortionist). Plus, it could take from 1-3 hours to complete once I took it in. I went to my usual mechanic and they quoted $139.00 for the battery with a 2 year warranty. If you live in Phoenix, battery warranties mean the world. Upon opening the hood, they said it would be an additional $60.00 for the labor, because it involved taking out other parts just to get to the battery. So much for my usual mechanic. So, I went to Jiffy Lube. I had used them before. Never had a complaint, it just wasn't my first thought for a new battery since I usually install them myself - but one look at this and I knew I could eventually do it, but the cost in cussing, sweating, blood pressure rising would be too high. Jiffy Lube quoted a lower number when I called by phone earlier in the morning, but after my last experience at my usual mechanic, I wondered if they would add more for the labor too. They did not. They stuck to their quoted standard price for a platinum 5 year guarantee battery that beat them all. Once I went to pay, I found out they were able to give me it even cheaper than the original quoted rate due to some issue with that not all batteries are quite the same. So, I agreed to buy it, but due to the positioning of the battery, I expected it would take a minimum of 1 hour to complete. That's best part! Dustin and team had it done in just about 15 minutes even with the complicated positioning. No taking out other parts or anything like that. That tells me their is real experience there - the pricing and sticking to it despite the obvious extra work shows me their is also integrity. read more

Went in with my full size 4x4 truck, took about 1 hr. no big deal. Individual who cashiered me out was the same person who was in the lower bay and he made a point of telling me that he lubed 11 points under truck as well as checked both differential's and the transfer case for full. When I got back home (bout 1 mile) I had to remove a front tire for an unrelated issue and noticed that none of the lube points had been serviced on that side, pulled the other side same thing. Ended up getting under the vehicle to inspect their "work". Not only did they not lube any of the 9 lube points (zikrs) it was obvious the fluids in the differentials and transfer case weren't checked either. On top of lying to me about the work (not) done (fraud) they left the drain plug loose and an oily mess on the pan and drive line below the filter. FYI the manager signed off on my invoice. . read more

Jiffy Lube is a little pricey at $81.00 for an oil change (synthetic) but they typically have a coupon available online to take $15.00 off. The staff at this location is always nice and the service is quick. The downside is the waiting room has a horrible smell to it. I appreciate the tv, vending machine, magazines, coffee, and water but the smell makes it hard to stomach waiting in there which leaves you waiting outside. read more

I have been a customer for years and they have always done great work. Unfortunately my last experience was not good. So i changed my spark plugs myself and my truck was running poorly immediately following. I knew I did something wrong with the installation so figured i would take it to the professionals and have them redo it for me. When I arrived they assured me that the spark plugs were not the issue, it had to be something else. So I spent the rest of my day checking other things before a mechanic told me I might have broke one of the plugs upon installation. So i went back later that day only because it was Sunday and nobody else was open. They admitted their mistake but said they could not do the change becuaee they closed in an hour and autozone couldn't deliver the new plugs. Autozone was across the street. I offered to walk across the street and get new plugs but he said there was not enough time. So I ended up paying an emergency mechanic to check then and like I suspected one of the plugs was cracked. He replaced it and now my truck is running fine. If they would have checked the first time I wouldn't have wasted an entire Sunday. Sorry Jiffy Lube you lost my confidence and my business. read more

I've been going to this Jiffy Lube location since I moved here almost 6 years ago. I drive from my current home in Downtown Phoenix to go there! I have a rare car. Nobody ever has the right tool to take the oil filter out, except for this location. I've tried other Jiffy Lubes and they've had to order the tool. Yesterday, I went for my quarterly oil change. They didn't have the proper filter. They gave me the choice of either going back in a few hours or staying put. None of the auto parts stores had it. Only the VW dealership in North Scottsdale. I stayed put, and one of the service techs drove to the dealership, picked up the part AND called me when he was on his way back. Hey, I was out of the office for this and another half hour from work on a Friday wasn't gonna kill me! They threw in free wiper blades to make up for my wait. Changed all my filters - air, A/C AND, of course, the oil. ULTRA-friendly staff, service was excellent. They normally vacuum my car, but I told them to skip it since I had to detail my car the next day anyway. "Are you sure, Amy?" They knew my name, used it often during my visit, and didn't treat me like a bimbo for being a woman in an auto car place. read more

This is my new favorite place to have my car maintenance taken care of. I had never been to Jiffy Lube before, and the gentleman working this location were professional and very efficient. They cared about my experience and while very quickly affecting my repairs, they also made sure I knew what they were doing and showed me what they were doing. Along the way they realigned my headlight, cleared cloudy glass and cleaned my brakes at no additional (no hidden) cost. The overall price was comparable to what I would have paid at my last mechanics, and I am very pleased with the quality of the work. read more

While conveniently a mile from my home and the guy handling the check in and out process is pleasant - my car has taken twice the time of a dealership as one of the mechanics has spent the majority of his time arguing and cussing at a woman on the phone (girlfriend or wife). This use to be my favorite Jiffy Lube until today. The new Manager (or Asst. Manager) came out telling its going to1hr before they can get to me. The only problem (to me) is that there were only 2 cars ahead on me, each in of their own lane. So this caught me by surprise and asked why so long. He tells me to do the math and it will be 60m and on top of that he got into this defensive stance with an attitude. For a minute I thought we were about to throw down in the parking lot because I'd challenged him. So I was like whatever, maybe he had a bad day and I went to the waiting room, sat down for one minute, then he calls out the 1st Customer who then pays and leaves then 10 minutes later the second customer pays and leaves. Then 20 minutes later my vehicle was ready. Overall it was 30 minutes like normal. Thinking back on it, it felt more like the Manager was trying to upset me so that I would take my business elsewhere which still doesn't make sense since they still had 2.5hrs left in their day. My guess is that their location get tons of Phoenix afternoon sun & summer heat all over the Garage Bay where they all work with garage doors open without AC while they're servicing other vehicles. read more
