I went to one place before this and they told me it would be a 45 minute wait, the next place told me I would have to drop my car off for a few hours just for an oil change. DO NOT USE JIFFY LUBE .... This place is a complete mess, with young employees running the show. A guy working there broke a part on my car while I was watching. He apologized and called his manager over. The manager came with pliers and tried to fix the part by squeezing it, but that didn't work. He then told the younger guy to tell me that if I went to AutoZone for a replacement, he would fix it. I went to AutoZone, but they informed me that the part was specific dealer part and couldn't just be replaced with a generic one. It was a sensor that the employee had broken. So, I returned to Jiffy Lube the next morning to talk to the manager, who happened to be the same guy from the day before. They admitted to breaking the part and said they would cover the cost. But when they saw the online price was $400 they called their area manager, named Russ. Russ said he wouldn't pay for it because his employees claimed the part was faulty. My car is a 2020, and I still have the part to show there was nothing wrong with it. The area manager was dismissive and said he wouldn't pay, regardless of what I said. Initially, they were going to cover it, but then Russ changed his mind. My husband then suggested to the young employee that he should do the right thing since he admitted to breaking it, and we would be willing to split the cost. The kid reacted angrily and shouted at my husband, saying he wasn't a man if he was they wouldn't have had to try and fix my car. The manager was right there and witnessed the entire confrontation. He simply shrugged it off, saying my husband should have asked him to the right thing. I even asked the manager if he thought it was acceptable for his employee to speak to us that way, and he replied that it was fine because my husband's comments provoked it. I have recorded evidence of the employee admitting to breaking the part and the manager acknowledging it, along with the attempts to fix it using pliers. I'm planning to explore all possible channels to ensure that others are aware that if something is broken, there should be accountability. read more

I had a horrible experience at a sister location (I left a separate review on them) where the other location basically told me to come to this one because they "had to drain their pans" and couldn't see me. So, I travelled to this location and the gentlemen here were very fast, efficient and professional, and completely saved my current opinion of jiffy lube. When I want to get my oil changed and my brother is to busy to do it, Jiffy Lube is my chosen location to go to! They are quick, trustworthy and have great customer service! Other places, like Cobblestone, are very pushy about trying to get me to get other stuff done on my car when the only thing i have in my budget is an oil change! JIFFY Lube will tell me what other things my car may need, but when i say not today, tgey except my choice and dont keep pushing m3!Walmart takes forever and when i brougt my car over to my brother's after he said that the oil was soooooooo dirty there was no way it could have been changed! Please do not use Jiffy Lube located on 2005 Cactus Road nor 13801 N 32nd St, Phoenix, AZ 85032-5605.. both owned By BOVE Group. Both locations will over charge you. They'll also put in the wrong weight of oil. They will not verify the weight of oil, and accuse the customer of selecting the oil. Don't trust these guys. Cheated me with a bait and switch. Told me one price, then tried to triple it (!!!) after they started work, then tried to double it. Said they would do one thing, then did another thing to try to upsell me on services I didn't ask for. Talked to the manager, who walked away from me while I was in the middle of explaining what happened. He clearly didn't care. Don't hand them your card. Once they have it, you can't predict the price they're going to invent. I would say "walk in with cash," but really, you shouldn't even walk in there. Never again. Tech Aaron S. At Cactus and 7th Street over inflated my tires. To over 45 to 50 PSI. But on the print out I was given says lowered all tires to 32 PSI. Needless to say the front driver side tire blew immediately after leaving the shop and getting on the highway my wife and I was terrified thinking the car was going to flip over. We called the store and we was given the run around that tires don't blow if their under or over inflated. If your telling customers that!!! You shouldn't be working with tires or people's lives. Now after the tire blowing and causing damages to my SUV, the store could care less John G. the cashier doesn't care and I was given the GM Eddie's number NO answer No replies to texts. I called back the store to confirm the number, John G. answers and says it's the right number guess he is busy or on the phone. I asked him to verify my number he didn't and just provided the GMs number again. Someone from Jiffy needs to call me ASAP and pay for the damages to my SUV. Went in for basic oil change and tire rotation... it was smooth and pretty quick!

On February 1st 2022 the Jiffy Lube on Cactus near Cave Creak changed my oil. After waiting nearly an hour my 2017 Pacifica was driven in and work started. Then, an employee said it would be $100+. I said I had a coupon he looked at coupon checked it on the computer and said he could not find it. It would be $100+. I said stop work and I just wanted the basic oil and filter change at the lowest price. Then they looked to see if it was a coupon that processed at cash out and then said it would be $88. At cash out I found that there were lower prices for other oils. After I complained to Jiffy Lube Corporate I received a call from a local franchise representative who advised what I got was the only 0W-20 oil they had and at was the weight called for on the oil cap. And went on to say a different oil could damage the engine. I quoted the Owner's Manual in my complaint which said 0W-20, 5W-20, 0W-30, 5W-30 and 10W-30 properly certified were acceptable. And recommended 0W-20 "for all operating temperatures". Now if one does not drive in Northern Maine or Montana but rather drives a vehicle with 124,000 miles, in Florida, Southern California or Arizona does one really need such a thin oil. Also, Jiffy lube did not use, Pennzoil high mileage oil even though the car has over 75,000 miles. Jiffy Lube has a customer intake process that does not talk about services or price until after you have waited (nearly an hour for me) and they start work. At which time customers may be more likely to let them do it rather than go some other place. I would suggest 1. Go someplace else or 2. Call first and confirm oil weight in stock and price. Also, you may want to google "540ratblog" and note that a Quaker State Oil is rated number one out of 264 tested. read more

This is place is for sure a rip-off! I've never seen the expose on them that Jake mentioned in a review of a different Jiffy Lube, but I don't doubt it one bit! The last time I came here for an oil change, the tech came out and told me that a few others things were wrong with my car (of course). He was very insistent that I probably wouldn't even make it home before my car broke down. Good thing I'm no sucker. So I told him to just write down everything that was wrong with my car (around $400 worth of things) and then I called my real mechanic and told him. He was very doubtful, but I brought my car in anyways just to see and nothing was wrong with it at all. And he didn't charge me anything to check. I learned my lesson. Being a female trying to get a vehicle worked on is quite annoying when they are always trying to sell you stuff you really don't need. At this JL, (Matt, Brian, Oscar) they were courteous to their customers (though quite laid back with each other) and didn't talk down to me when I asked questions or when they were telling me what the computer was suggesting I should do with my vehicle. Personally a little bit more than I wanted to pay for an oil change (high mileage for $77) I'm willing to come back to this location. Also something else to note usually garage type settings r super dirty in the customer's lounge and I didn't get a complete "eww I don't wanna touch/sit anywhere" Wait time was reasonable as well without an appointment. & love that they vacuum & wash all windows. read more

All I have to say is there are signs up everywhere that say to wear a mask and there were two guys inside my car digging through my glove box and sitting on my stuff othe seats that were not wearing masks. They crushed my window visor on the floor and left the contents of the glove box on the dash, in the seat and on the floor. Went here for a simple oil change and was given one outrageous price after another. I picked the cheapest option and was told it would be $45. Five minutes later they are telling me that my pure white, one-month-old air filter needs replaced and that there would be an additional charge for more than 5 quarts of oil. First time I've had an oil change that I've been told my car takes more than 5 quarts. I doubt they put more than 5 quarts in. What a bunch of crooks. read more

Today I had excellent service from the guys at Jiffy Lube! The assistant manager Michael answered the phone right away and was able to tell me that they had the battery I needed for my car in stock. My old battery was corroded and he cleaned off the area and sprayed it with a protectant to help my new battery from having problems! We were in and out within 20 minutes and I was beyond relieved since it was close to closing time! I would highly recommend their friendly service! read more

Pulled into 2005 E Cactus loaded for bear and asked to speak to who ever was in charge.. Individual came out, introduced himself as Gavin and then listened quietly and politely while I tore on and on about the other Jiffy Lube's s..t work. I have had my fair share of bad experiences at oil change centers in the past where the associates were desperately pushing upscale and claiming more was needed. Once before at this location even, to validate any other negative reviews. As a matter of fact, I had merely planned to give it one last shot. I'm very happy i did. There have been some dramatic improvements. Gavin has helped me the last 2 times I was in for my oil change. He was polite, informative, non pushy, but more importantly HONEST. he informed me I was very early for my oil change, as newer changes with my vehicle allow me to go longer between changes. They topped my fluids off and sent me on my way. AND... the guys that worked on my car have respected my property and left it clean . They are very polite and courteous. And both of the last times I was there I did not have to wait long at all. I was floored with my experience today! It's a $42 dollar oil. They claim to clean your windows and vacuum your carpet. They literally didn't vacuum a single part of my car. I showed the manager and he offered to do it himself, I said forget it. The rest of the staff was just sitting and texting on their phones. It was an awkward waste of money, at best. Ok so the story starts here. So I have been working crazy hours lately for my job and I did not have time to stop in to the shop I have been going to for years for my oil change. Reason being I have recently moved farther away. Let's just say my car needed a oil change, so I stopped into this Jiffy Lube because you don't need a appointment. I called them on the way there and they gave me a quote for my car at 29.99 for my oil change I was like ok great that's good. The shop I usually go to it's only 19.99 but I'm fine with paying a little more for the convenience. So I get there and they pull my car back I told them who I talked to on the phone and the quote they gave me they said, "Ok no problem".........40 min later as they are just standing around my car one of the guys walks back in with a air filter in his hand and he tells me "So this is your air filter, it should be clear and white but see all this black on there that is all dust and dirt you need to get a new one so we will put a new one in there for you" I looked at him and I said ahhhh that's not my air filter he looks back at my car as it's the only one in the garage" and he assures me that it is my air filter. So I walked in to the garage and opened up where my air filter is and I told him this was my air filter! as the other 2 guys walk away and the one guy holding the air filter is mumbling over his own words because he just was caught in a lie he tells me oooo ya I mean this is what your air filter looks like. And it did not look like that at all. We walked to the front and I was so angry why they would lying to my face. Thank good they changed the oil already they pull it out to the front, I grabbed 35 bucks from my wallet and the guy told me it was now 75 dollars!!!! I was so angry i told him I was the one that called and you gave me the quote for my car at 29.99 he said well it's a sports car so they put different oil in it. After trying to take to this guy that's it he late 40s for 20 more minutes I told him at this point I did not even care it's the principle not the money I pulled up a coupon online for 20 dollars off lol hahahahaha. I payed 57 bucks after everything was said and done. What got me so angry was the fact that they lied to me 2 different times. Once about the price when I called and second when the guy brought me an air filter that did not even go to my car. I honestly feel so bad for the people they sucker in to there bait and hook scheme!!! If they did this to me they have to do this all the time to girls and older people!!! Called about flushing power steering fluid cost was $91 when I asked if they use a machine to pressure flush they stated they do not use one. The person said they suck out the fluid in the reservoir turn the wheels a few times suck it out again and re-fill I could do that myself for $10. This is not a flush. Flushing rack and pinions requires specific steps the manufacture service manual has removing lines and adding fluid while the old fluid is pushed out. Most dealers use a machine connect it to the lines. Dealers charge $100 for this service why would I pay jiffy lube to do the same job incorrectly. Since I actually didn't use Jiffy Lube I gave them 2 stars but I would stay clear of them go to the dealer where they follow the manufacture service manual. read more

This Jiffy Lube is under new management. Very respectful service. I was well-informed of all the costs prior to them doing anything, nothing was hidden from me. Overall I may pay a little bit more. But I had amazing service and was finished and out of there including tire rotation, in 20 minutes. And a special thanks to them for washing the inside of my windows in addition to the outside! After a really bad experience at another location already reviewed I tried this one. I told them how the other location had crossthreaded my radiator cap and it'd overheated. They laughed and assured me they were professional and did the work. I only got a quarter mile before it overheated. When the tech opened it up it was only half full of coolant. Some crap about a 'bubble'. Then they told me vehicles like mine should be filled under pressure. Ok, so why didn't you? Coolant and oil changes are what you do here right? Two locations now, two overheatings within a half hour of service. For the record this was a few years ago. I haven't been back to any Jiffylube since and my vehicle hasn't had a single problem overheating. The only times it ever did were when Jiffylubes got their filthy paws on it. Fool me once shame on you, fool me twice shame on me. You could save some money and time by just letting some neighborhood kid work on your car with a hammer instead. read more
