love Jiffy Freeze! It's one of our favorite spots, and the food is always so good. I usually go for the classic burger or the chicken sandwich with some corn nuggets on the side. I would love to bring my Fairlane sometime too it fits the classic feel of the place perfectly, and I love the old-school atmosphere there. The only downside I've experienced is with the hours. There's a posted schedule for when they're open, but twice now we've come during their listed hours and they were closed. As we where driving to visit Old car city USA we had a hankering for some good grub! We almost missed it and had to maneuver a quick u turn. We found a spot in the packed parking lot and patiently waited for the young man to take our order. The wife and I had not had a tenderloin sandwich in so long we both ordered one (we usually never order the same thing, not sure why but it's rare if we ever do) the son ordered a chicken sandwich. No root beer said the young attendant so 3 cokes and crinkle cut fries. After a few minutes wait (due to the full parking lot) our food arrived individually bagged and hot off the grill. I enjoy the simplicity of this joint, it kind of reminds of how burger stands were when I was a kid. The food is always good-the guy runs out and takes your order face to face which beats the heck out of ordering over a speaker system. This place was awesome. Shared a large fry with my sister, they are the big crinkle cut kind, fried to perfection, not soggy, and came out hot. Did have to add a little salt, but dunked in ketchup, it was perfection. For the burger I got the specialty recommended by Dylan that had chili, onions, ketchup, and mustard. OK... Maybe you had to grow up eating here and its an aquired taste. Very old school in that you walk up to the counter and place you order (or they come to your car) and then they bring it to your car. Great in theory, but the day we were there, on a Saturday, there were a number of cars in the lot, and apparently only one guy waiting on the entire group. Once we ordered it took what seemed like forever to get our food. And once we did, what a disappointment! We all ordered the special burger, with slaw, cheese and chili--which sounds good, but when you put it all together it makes for a pancake thin, soggy burger, with an off taste to the meat. Yuck. Fries were OK, but they only gave us one little pack of ketchup for our entire order of fries. I love local places and search them out where ever I am. Again, maybe its the tradition for some, but for us we won't be back. ALSO--NO restroom or trash cans!!?? Go before you get there I guess!! We thought with the old appearance, this place would be a well loved mom and pop kind of place that's been around forever with a great following. I no longer think this is the case. If you like premise patties that are reheated right from the bag they came from....this is your place. The burger had no flavor and was nothing ore than a filler in your stomach. The fries were ok. My daughter's chicken nuggets look like they are reheated from a fast food place. Not impressed. We fed 3 people reheated food for a little over $20. I love Wormeys, its a name me and my friends has always called Jiffy Freeze it has nothing to do with the food. I love their food, this restaurant is the oldest I know of. The food is great when you get a craving for one of their hotdogs or hamburgers nothing else will do. You pull in and a carhop come out to you car and takes your order and just a few minutes they are back with your order. If you have never had a wormed burger give it a try. read more

My family calls this place Wormys for some reason, an it's always a little strange whenever someone says "let's get a wormy burger." Relax, enjoy it, take it all in. Yep, it's old school and we used to pay cash. Have stopped in a couple of times. Same clean cut friendly guy really hustling to keep the customer taken care of each visit. A "Big Burger" seems to be a signature item for them. It's sort of like maybe a "chuck wagon" sort of thing with slaw and chili. Went well with the crinkle cut fries and the catsup from the squeeze bottle. ( I genuinely enjoy canned catchup). The jalapeno poppers were cooked well and served hot. You can eat in the car or enjoy some natural air-conditioning at picnic tables in a very shady, well kept area. I have been going to the Jiffy Freeze all my life. The food is amazing and the owners and servers are fantastic. Personally I love the Footlong Hotdogs and Fries, But everything is good there. Some of these reviews quite frankly surprise me. I guess some people do not appreciate good food and service. I drive all the way from Kennesaw just for this food.
