He recommended hydro jetting it for an additional $485 and then sending a camera through (another $250) to take photos to make sure the line was clear. I decided to get a second opinion and luckily found Dustin at Honest Sewer and Drain. He came out to the house the same day, was able to take a photo (for NO Charge) without hydro jetting and locate the problem as a root ball growing into the pipe. He snaked and cut out the roots and the line is flowing again. All for $270 (after a 10 percent discount)! No hydro jetting, no charge for the photos. The next day the bathtub line was clogged and he came out and got it flowing again. No additional charge! Hard to believe but it's true. Dustin is in it for the long haul - he understands that a business is built on delivering competent, professional and honest service. Great experience, from initial quote to project finish. We originally hired them to relocate some…read moregas plumbing which was completed with no issues! But after, we stopped getting hot water so we called them back. They noticed our old gas heater needed repair, so they replaced a component (thermocouple). After that, our hot water came back but there was a strong gas smell that lasted a couple of days. We called Millennium who came back to inspect it, but found nothing wrong. They said that the new part just needs to burn off some gas (??). However, the smell persisted for another couple days so we called PG&E because we feared it may be a gas leak. They came to inspect and notified us that a certain part was installed incorrectly which was causing gas to leak. We called Millennium back who admitted it was their wrong and quickly fixed the issue. They offered a partial refund which we haven't seen yet. We're honestly just relieved we can breathe in our own home. All in all, the runaround and back-and-forth about the water heater was exhausting. But the owner in particular showed lots of care and integrity in his work, which we appreciated. He was great to communicate with and helped rectify any errors.

I started Googling and called the usual suspects Mr. Rooter and Roto-Rooter.. Both companies were closed and forwarded our calls to their AI agents (which were useless). Drain Time responded to a Yelp quote quickly and were at our house Sunday morning. There was a slight delay due to another emergency and they even offered to come on Saturday evening but we chose the following morning as the leak was slow. The inspection uncovered multiple major issues and we needed to have all our water and sewer piping replaced for our 3 bathroom house on a larger lot (our house is from the 1940s). Over the course of the project, I met between 10-15 employees and every single one was kind, professional, excellent at communication, and respectful of my time and space. They worked so efficiently and always left our house in as clean a state as possible at the end of the day. The owner Tommy was always there to explain every step of the process, talk through decisions, and keep me informed of the many moving parts. Thanks to him and his team I have a much better understanding of my own plumbing, and plumbing in general, and they managed to bring some lightness and humor!
