But for turning on my dishwasher on to test their installation if it's working without leaks, I give them a ZERO score. You might ask why a ZERO score, they where not thinking it through when they turned on the dishwasher. They did NOT put on the air gap cover so the drain water came out of the UNCOVERED air gap they installed and spilled all over the countertop and floor. They also blamed the pressure of the dishwasher thats why it spewed on the air gap. Simple logic, without that air gap cover it will spill out everywhere. I would NOT recommend this company for any plumbing services.

He was very kind and knowledgeable. He also showed my husband how to put up drywall, "mudding", and texturizing. Not to mention his pricing is very reasonable! Hands down would hire again. I called and spoke with Ed about it still expecting he might tell me he couldn't/wouldn't help. He was so kind and understanding and I know he didn't even have the files from that far back. He said he would send someone out to take a look and sure enough he stood by his workmanship and his electrician took care of everything. The windows look great. They are absolutely perfect, and cheap. Bad things second. They were done about a week after they said they would be done. They also broke the BRAND NEW GRANITE in the house and didn't offer to fix it. After asking them numerous times for a final bill (because I am trying to flip the house I am not going to stiff them) they threatened to put a lien on this house. I honestly must say that their owner is possibly the worst business man I have ever dealt with, and I would never ever consider doing business with him again. His crew were always on time and conducted themselves very professionally on the job site. If one of them were not able to answer a question, Augustin can be reached very quickly over the phone/text to get the matter cleared up. All of our projects have been completed on-time or if there was a delay, he would explain the reason for the extension so there were no questions. Also, all financial questions are answered as soon they come up and if there is a need to increase the budget (or use an item/material that is more expensive then originally planned) Augustine will go into detail for the reason there needs to be a change and is open to negotiate the difference in cost. I would not hesitate to use Soto Construction for any work that we have planned for the future.

However, he missed a lot of spots and told us he would fix them so we still paid him in full and he came back and fixed one sprinkler head that he had broken but never fixed the other dry rot spots. He said this was an honest mistake but still said he would have to charge us to fix the remaining repairs--even though these repairs should have been taken care of when we paid him. Would have preferred to pay more money up front for someone who could get the job done correctly.
