Oil on the driveway. Ugh…read more Called some friends to get a recommendation for a local shop. One said that Scott from Sunland was the guy. We had the car towed over (2018 Ford Fusion Hybrid), and they diagnosed the problem and repaired the issue quickly and at a fair price. Unfortunately, the tech made a small mistake and once we got the car home, there was more oil on the driveway and a check engine light. Ugh, again. So we called back to Scott to see what he wanted us to do. We understand that sometimes mistakes are made and issues arise. How a business owner handles those issues are the difference between good businesses and great ones. This is a great one. Scott was MUCH more upset than we were! He got us back in same day and fixed the issue at no charge! (We should have paid for a necessary part, but he would not charge us.) With everything so expensive these days, and everyone trying to stretch a buck, it's hard to know if you're leaving your car with someone who cares about it as much as you do. Scott does. I cannot recommend this shop highly enough!

Today is a good example: my car wouldn't start. I called Ken, who sent 2 mechanics to my house to look at it! They brought it to the shop, fixed it, then picked me up to get my car. What service! This is beyond excellence. Then in Dec. 2017, a local Toyota dealership said I needed new struts and gave a written price quote of $1246.37. That's a Lot of $. I decided to get a 2nd opinion at Priority. Ken showed me the struts and said they are fine & do NOT need to be replaced. Wow. My family and I are now loyal customers of Priority. I recommend them to everyone.

Front guys didn't listen to what I easily described and told mechanics something different. I couldn't have been more clear on my description of what I was hearing. Charged me $320 for it, then when I took it back in because they, of course, didn't get my issue fixed, they ignored me again. Mechanic that jumped in so I could point out what I'm hearing, said they were telling him something different. They then tried charging me an extra $410, to which they did end up refunding because the second round didn't work either. After they finally got a diagnosis, it was going to cost me $1,600. Seems like they intentionally ignored me to keep taking my $$, otherwise, why not tell the mechanic what it was I very clearly described?

I know they're only going to recommend services that are actually needed and perform them for a fair price. It was a huge relief when they honored the warranty (11 months after the original service) for a complete A/C system replacement on my wife's car. There was no hassle or argument from them or even an attempt to accuse her of being negligent. They looked at the problem and then fixed it with no additional money out of our pocket. On one occasion the horn on the car went haywire and was randomly honking at other cars. (Just like in the Brian Reagan routine. Very embarrassing.) After checking it out, Hefner's removed the penny that our toddler had forced into the steering wheel, thereby fixing the problem. And they didn't even charge us a shop fee or anything.
