Meh. The food is mediocre. when i pay 3 dollars for a side of bacon, i expect a bit more than two slices of cold crunchy bacon on a plate. We love their breakfast buffet, their Cobb salad and their brownie dessert. Service has always been great. They just updated the restaurant. It's a pretty light blue and seating is comfortable, but I actually liked the previous interior better with all the booths along the windows. read more

The restaurant has been recently renovated, and the new lighting and seating makes a big difference. We went for the breakfast buffet. The southwest eggs were tasty, and the pastries have improved since I visited last time. The service is outstanding. The staff is very attentive, and it was easy to get drink refills. Joey and Sandra are exceptionally friendly and helpful. The service here is much better than the other places along the seawall, which usually you have to wait a long ti.e for service. We enjoyed the food, and the service was great. The shrimp tacos were delicious ( 3 in a starter order), as were the burgers and sandwiches. The kids had pizza, chicken tenders, and fries, at no charge if you're staying at the hotel. Adult beverages included a generous pour of wine and an excellent Mai tai. After a long afternoon drive, it was nice to relax at the hotel with friendly staff. We'll be back for breakfast! read more

We ordered from The Jetty while staying at Holiday Inn Resort. The room service was quick and arrived very fresh. We ordered: Wedge salad, Calamari, and Jetty Burger. Delicious! The wedge salad was huge and the calamari were served fresh and hot with lemon and marinara. The Jetty Burger was prepared just as asked and all condiments were provided on the side. It was served with onion rings that were also yummy. I'd recommend ordering room service or visiting in the lobby! read more

Don't waste your time here. At least not for dinner. Service is lacking. Waiter was slow, got the orders wrong. Since everything took so long in the first place we figured correcting the orders would just take way too long. Don't go unless you're staying at the holiday Inn and are DESPERATE for food. It's overpriced for the quality and they will up charge you every chance they get (I ordered the classic Cesar Salad and they added chicken to it for an additional $5 not at my request. I never got to eat. I sat down ordered a bottle of water and a couple appetizers. The waitress brought my water turned around and had about a 10 minute conversation with a customer. So when she finally finished talking with the other couple I asked if she put my order in. She says not yet. So I told her forget it and I left. I'm a Spire Member for Holiday Inn and I'm staying at the hotel but will never stay here again or eat in that empty restaurant. I think it's empty for a reason. read more

I'm not sure which was worse, the food or the service. After taking our breakfast order the waitress told us it would take about 7 minutes to cook our order. She returned with the food about 25 minutes later. Way to over-promise and under deliver. My Mexican omelet had been cooked until dry and crispy. Even better, it was totally devoid of flavor until I doused it with Cholula. I recommend getting a little exercise and taking a walk down the street to the IHOP. Go to IHOP instead. At least then you'll get a decent consistent hot breakfast. Jetty's is at the base of Holiday Inn and operated by Landry's. Both companies have had successful locations but need to focus here. The $13 breakfast buffet only had eggs and sausage ready, all else was empty including bacon and pancakes. The staff didn't notice but did respond when pointed out. Pancakes never came and asked for them to bring to table. Quality of food was very poor and cold even though buffet foods were in warming dishes. Pancakes that finally came from kitchen tasted like microwaved frozen variety. Most patrons seemed to be staying at Holiday Inn and getting breakfast for free. Our table of 5 spent $75 and left completely dissatisfied. read more

The breakfast buffet was OK, but they lose all consideration based on customer service. One of the people busing tables spilled a glass of milk down my back as i was eating, and since we had already checked out of the hotel, I had no place to change shirts. I talked to the hotel management who talked to the waitresses. They finally decided that their waitresses weren't involved. read more

I have been going there for years...The people are friendly and the food is great but some how Tillman Fertita got a hold of the menu and changed the menu and increased the prices. The $9.00 burger is now $14.00 and the $9.00 Philly Cheese Sandwich is $ 14.00.....Oh yea $1.00 for each added extra...Can't see myself taking the family for $ 14.00 burgers.....Too bad, I really liked that place....Good Luck read more

We ate breakfast here with a free voucher from the hotel. While the food wasn't anything special, it was very good. One person had the buffet and the rest of us ordered from the menu. The waiter couldn't remember who ordered what, but he was very nice. We would go back again, even if it wasn't free. read more

Service was slow. I sat and watched my server receive my drink from the bar and put it on the counter for 20 minutes and serve other customers before finally bringing it to me. Food came out fast but completely lacking in flavor and was lukewarm as if it had been sitting for a while. Once the server brought us our food she never came back. Had to get up multiple times to ask for things and get corrections on items we ordered that were given to us wrong. Also, they pre-authorize your payment by 20% I paid $25 and was charged almost $30. It's not posted anywhere in the restaurant, online, or on the menu so just a heads up. read more

The quality of the food was really good for the breakfast buffet, they had fresh fruit, pancakes, eggs, bacon, sausages, etc. The only funny thing is that the first morning we went down to have breakfast, they forgot to include us in the list and I was surprised when the server gave us the bill. I was staying at the San Luis resort next door. I was looking for a lunch that wast going to cost me $17 for a sandwich, so I walked next door to The Jetty which was similar to a Denny's. It was a little after 1pm on a Tuesday, so I was 1 of 5 people in the place. I was sat immediately and my order was taken fairly quick. I ordered the club sandwich, but for some reason it took 40 minutes to make it. I was on the verge of getting up and leaving when the waitress finally walked out from the kitchen with it. The sandwich it self was pretty good, however, I don't think I would return there to eat again. read more

We were staying next door at the San Luis Resort and wanted a bite to eat, but it was a bit late at night. We wandered up and down the Seawall before settling on The Jetty. It was just before 10pm, which is closing time, so I half expected to turned away. To our surprise the host welcomed us right in got our drinks out to us quickly and sent the waiter over for our order. After ordering our food, it came out in a decent amount of time. To my second surprise, it was quite good! I had a shrimp salad and my friend got the seafood platter, which was a heaping mountain of fried seafood goodness. I expected to be rushed out the door, but they let us take our time to relax while we ate. Good food and friendly service. read more

I'm staying in the Holiday Inn, and the Jetty is in the lobby. The food is decent, but not good enough to make up for the HORRIBLE service. I've eaten there twice now, once for dinner and once for breakfast...both times we had to ask for our waiter to come to the table multiple times. Forget asking for anything more than your first drink, if you think you might want ketchup, ask when you place your order. The breakfast buffet was slim pickins, and the eggs were a weird runny consistency...beware, the waiter will come to the table with a large carafe of OJ, and won't say anything, just pour you a large glass, then charge you 4$ for it! We were a large group for dinner, but there was no more than 3-4 other tables, and our food took an hour an half to be served. If you want something in a decent amt of time, just order from your room, or better yet walk to ANY other restaurant on the strip. Trust me! read more

We were staying at the Holiday Inn on the Beach and this restaurant was there. We ate there for breakfast two mornings. The first morning we ordered off the menu and the food was really great, along with our great server, Amanda. The second morning we got the buffet because it was a little crowded. The food was typical buffet fare, scrambled eggs, bacon, pancakes, biscuits, toast, cereal, nothing spectacular but okay. Again, we were lucky enough to have Amanda as our server.
