What a great place for brunch! Everything we ordered was delicious and the service was impeccable. Chicken & waffles was such a nice variation. The chicken was juicy, tender, & crispy. The fruit on top if waffles was mango, papaya, pineapple, blueberries. Mango syrup was delicious too. Cajun Benedict did not disappoint. Sausage, shrimp, & hollandaise- yum! The potatoes were perfectly seasoned & crispy. The red snapper and grits was also amazing. Will definitely be back to try other items. We saw so many other items come out that looked so good.

Haven't been here for a while. Was down on the island and wanted to take advantage of 2026 Restaurant Week. I love the ambiance. We sat at the bar. It was a cool hang. The service was good. Missed lunch, so did happy hour instead. Got the Jobber (gumbo) - includes crab, shrimp and andouille sausage in a dark roux on top of rice (pic attached). It was chocked full of protein. The taste of the roux was ok. Not my favorite.

This place always hits! I came here back in 2023 with my boyfriend as a last minute decision when we went to Galveston for the day and we haven't stopped thinking about the food since. I took my mom this most recent time and the consistency and deliciousness is still there! Both times I have gotten the pecan crusted redfish and it is so good. I love all of their sides across the board but the scalloped potatoes and spinach were exceptional this time around. The bread pudding is a must. My mom isn't a big seafood fan and got the linguine pasta with chicken and loved it! We got oysters the first time we came which was also great. Both times we have gone the servers have been great. They have fun cocktails and a good wine selection. The vibes can be a little touristy but the food is not.

Doesn't look great from the outside, but the inside was great. Food was delicious and affordable considering it was on the seawall.

Didn't have reservations (mistake) but got a seat at the bar by the spot where they plate the dishes. Amazing to watch. Very efficient. Bar service was great. It was not noisy despite being VERY busy. Had the oysters, escargot, and clam linguini. She had plank salmon. Fantastic. The garlic bread served with each meal was the best. Buttery and crispy. The oysters were briney and sweet, but like similar gulf varieties they were large. For me, I prefer smaller New England species. But this is Galveston and they were quite fresh. A mouthful but delicious.

Overrated. We have been dying to try this place, so we stopped by and tried. We were less than impressed. The service was ok, The food was nothing special. All the pictures and reviews describe these amazing flavors. We had to use the salt, pepper, and Tabasco on everything. The best thing we had were the fries. I don't think we would try this place again.

The seafood here is some of the best I've had in a while. The manager and wait staff are super attentive. Really cool atmosphere. Highly recommend especially the white chowder, poke bowl and chocolate mousse!

GULF REDFISH -Pecan crusted with asparagus and scalloped potatoes

We wanted to indulge in some local seafood during our stay in Galveston and decided to check out BLVD based on their great reviews. Their location is prime, within walking distance to the beach. We had the Flagship Shrimp 'N Grits and the Pecan-Crusted Red Fish. The shrimp is from the gulf and I was surprised that they were really small, however I did enjoy the andouille sausage and cheesy grits. I also wasn't the biggest fan of the red fish and wished that had ordered the red snapper instead. The asparagus and scalloped potatoes were delicious though! Overall; both dishes were pretty good and the staff were really kind and attentive.

First time visiting and it absolutely did not disappoint! Even after the post-Mardi Gras dinner rush, the hostess was so helpful in getting us seated at the bar. Emory, our bartender/server, gave fantastic recommendations and provided truly excellent service. We were seated right in front of the expo line, where Big Kevin was running things seamlessly -- you can tell he and the entire team take real pride in their ingredients, presentation, and overall experience. The communication and teamwork between staff was impressive to watch. Everything felt organized and intentional. We'll definitely be back -- they made our anniversary feel extra special

First time in, continuing my "locals" dining in Galveston. Not much from the outside, but walked into a place already bustling with the dinner rush. Informed the host I didn't know if we needed reservations, but he sat me and my husband right away:) Nice menu with a nice variety, and knowledgeable wait staff. We opted to split the blackened Red fish w/risotto and green beans and has a wedge salad to start. Added blackened shrimp as well, made the meal! Fish and shrimp both tasted fresh and blackened to perfection! Nice welcoming atmosphere, we will put this on our Galveston List to return!

    The gumbo! Yum!

The service is awesome. Missy Jo was awesome from Hello to Goodbye. She was very informative and helpful with dinner choices. The food was wonderful! We will be back. It is so delicious! And the portions are nice sized-took some home. We had the Texas Gulf Shrimp with scalloped potatoes. Delicious. And Shrimp Linguine. Delicious. The Gumbo. Delicious. The Wedge salad. Delicious. All lovely. We liked the ambiance of the small setting. Nice to be in a restaurant that was mom and pop and treated you special and like family at the same time. Thank you Boulevard Seafood. Keep doing what you do!

Our favorite meal in Galveston. Fantastic food and service. An upscale, but casual restaurant. We ordered the Smoked Salmon Crostini, Wedge Salad, and Cup of the White for staters. Each item was absolutely delicious. The salmon was lightly smoked dry salmon with a herbed oil and micro-greens on a soft slice of bread. The soup was fabulous with lots of seafood and great soup base. The wedge salad was huge, with lots of blue cheese, nuts, onion, tomato, and green apple. We shared the soft shell crab for our entree which came with 2 sides. It was 2 large crab with scalloped potatoes and green beans. Handmade tartar and cocktail sauce, Cheesy potatoes, and crisp cooked green beans. It was fantastic! We would come back often if we lived here. We will definitely be back on our next visit.

Wow! Some of the best fresh seafood ever with great service. We arrived early with a reservation & were seated promptly, no wait. Our waiter Mike was awesome, attentive & pleasant. My husband & I enjoyed the raw oysters, the gumbo, the fish chowder, the pecan crusted red snapper. Perfect portion sizes. If you're looking for upscale dining, this is not your place. If looking for fresh delicious seafood with a cozy relaxed seaside vibe, a must try. Off street parking. Reservation suggested.

That being said, it had been some time since I've gotten some proper fish-n-chips. I had to remedy that. Especially since the BBQ fiasco the other day, I was going to go on a hunger strike, but once I made the sign, I got potato chip fingers on it and started to eat it. So, I decided to fight fire with fire, and figured I would eat myself happy again. Which I'm never mad about. Sometimes I make myself angry just so I can eat myself happy. And now, the rest of the story. I have learned that I enjoy Cod fish for my fish-n-chips. And I think also Haddock. I am not a fisher nor a fish. So it's hard for me to say. But I know Cod is one for sure. I also sometimes have baby mouth and am afraid of new things. I do know I love my fish battered and deep fried. I also know that Shark Shack had good reviews for their fish, so, that was all I needed to hear. Plus, it was a perfect little eatery with bar seating, table seating, and gifts! So you can bet your bottom dollar tomorrow I ordered the English fish-n-chips. Boy oh boy. Just like how Britain colonized all those countries back when it was the cool thing to do, these fish and chips colonized my taste buds. Respectfully. This plate came with FIVE logs of fish. FIVE! Maybe they were tubes of fish? Honestly, I don't care what shape they came in, they looked perfectly crunchy and perfectly brown and perfectly fish. The super cool extra bonus? These fish came with CRISPIES! I've only ever seen crisps with fish from Long John Silvers, whose fish is probably as far from Cod or Haddock as legally possible. I actually think one of my pieces of fish from there had shoelaces. Didn't matter. Still ate it. Respectfully. (If you aren't privileged enough to know what fish crispies are, there little batter pieces that fry or fall off the fish as they cook. Basically little crumblies. If you make a wish over a fork of them and get the forkful in your mouth without dropping any, your wish will come true). Homemade tartar sauce was good, but there was a certain flavor profile that I wasn't a fan of. It was still good to use on the fish rods, it just tasted a little too much out of the tartar sauce field for me. The meal was wrapped up nice and tight with lovely square-cut fries. Perfect doneness. Perfect Ketchup vessel. I could just stare at a pile of them all night. Mostly because I'm weird. I decided to lean more toward the 4-star side, so here we are. While in Galveston for a quick weekend getaway, we wanted to go out for dinner. Katie's was my first choice, but the wait was too long, so I pulled up Yelp to see what else was recommended. Shark Shack had great reviews, and when we arrived there was zero wait, so we went for it. The one area where I docked a star was the service. We were seated immediately but waited quite a while for our server to appear, and then even longer to get our drinks. I was so excited for a margarita, but when it arrived in a plastic cup, I was immediately disappointed. Plastic cups are for the beach and nightclubs, not a restaurant with a bar. And that's not where the awful drink experience ended -- it was so weak and just not good at all. Our server seemed so disinterested in everything: taking our order, answering questions, and when it came time to pay, we had to wait ages to see him and wave him down. The food was decent with no major complaints. It wasn't "blow your mind" amazing, but it was good. The owner -- well, I assume he was the owner -- came and spoke to us when he found out my husband was military, and he was really nice, friendly, and very supportive of the military community, offering a very generous military discount. That definitely raises the rating and is much appreciated, so thank you. Overall, the big fixes for me would be the service and the drink situation. I can't say we would rush to come back just because we love Katie's for the service, food, and drinks..

We ordered two craft strawberry mint lemonades ($16 each), but despite the bar being lined with sliced garnishes, neither drink contained mint or any garnish at all. It felt more like a shortcut than a craft cocktail. When we arrived, the TV was playing the news -- which we didn't mind -- but a manager came over and literally shut it off mid-segment, which was awkward. We also tried to pay with cash, but the bar wasn't set up to handle it. After waiting quite a while for them to figure out change, we finally gave up and used a credit card. Overall, the Tremonté Rooftop has potential, but the service, execution, and atmosphere just didn't match the price point. We won't be rushing back.

For appetizers, we had a cup of gumbo and fried okra. The okra was perfectly breaded and came with a side of ranch. The gumbo was served with a slice of buttery, delicious bread, such a nice touch. The flavor was good overall, though it could've used just a bit more seasoning. Still, we cleaned the bowl completely! For entrées, we ordered the catfish po' boy with a side of onion rings and the shrimp tacos. The po' boy was light but still very filling. My only suggestion would be to add a little more tartar sauce, but otherwise it was great. The onion rings were perfect, huge, crispy, and they give you plenty! The shrimp tacos were also light and well-balanced, with just the right amount of toppings and sauce. Every bite was so good... as you can probably tell from the picture...my boyfriend couldn't even wait to dig in Now for the service: the two ladies working were friendly and helpful. We came in right before closing, and they still treated us like we were their first customers of the day, which we really appreciated. As for the atmosphere, it's cute, simple, and very on-theme with seahorse decor throughout. The tables were clean and well-kept. Honestly, it looks even better on the inside than the outside. Don't underestimate this little hole-in-the-wall, it might just surprise you!
