Jetties is a quick and easy sandwich shop perfect for lunch and catering needs. This one is located on Connecticut Avenue in Chevy Chase. I visited during early lunch to surprisingly light customer traffic. The shop serves an extensive variety of cold and hot sandwiches and specialty salads. Almost too many to ever have a chance to try most of them. The sandwiches are fresh and delicious, with some options for the health conscious and those with specific dietary requirements. They also serve a handful of traditional sandwich shop soups like tomato, Maryland crab, New England clam chowder, and chili. The ordering process is completed via self-service kiosk situated along the way near the entrance of the restaurant. While you are there, you can also purchase baked goods and hand-dipped ice cream. There is also some indoor and outdoor seating available for dine-in. The dining room resembles a beach setting. Street parking is available. Overall a good experience and definitely a good local option.

Jetties is a delivery staple for us at work. Sandwiches are fresh, tasty and consistent. Yesterday, they forgot my sandwich modifications but it was great nonetheless. I had the cisco (love the caramelized onions) and my coworkers got the dreamland and stilldock.

Didn't have lunch when i saw Jetties pop up i said let me try this . I'm kinda a plain Jane with my sandwich, i ordered roasted Turkey , havarti , bacon and red onions on sourdough. Very very good

Food was meh, indoors is very smoky and loud. The cashier was rude. Can't hear, ESOL, took my mask down so she could hear me and she yelled about my mask. But it's ok to eat with mask off. Get a life. We won't be back. We are outside and left to never return.

I was wary from the reviews, but I had to get on here and mention that I built my own salad and it was just what I was looking for. It was missing an ingredient, but it wasn't one I paid extra for so it's OK! They may have room for improvement but the portion was huge, had fresh ingredients, and I really liked the balsamic dressing!

I am improving my review to four stars. Sandwiches are generally plentiful and delicious. This has become a regular staple to the neighborhood. I'm glad they increased their portion size over the last couple of years. My go to sandwich is the Nobadeer, Turkey, stuffing, cranberry sauce, on sourdough bread. But most of their sandwiches and salads are very popular. Hard to go wrong for a simple lunch at this neighborhood joint.

    Appreciated the nicely wrapped sandwich.

Wonderful ice cream spot with a ton of unique flavors! I first fell in love with Mount Desert…read moreIsland Ice Cream while visiting Acadia National Park, so imagine my excitement when I learned this Maine classic had made its way all the way to Mount Pleasant DC! They have a great list of unique rotating flavors, and it's always fun to come back to try out their new seasonal releases. A few of my favorites over the years have been their hibiscus sorbet -- a delightful dairy-free addition to their Hispanic Heritage Month flavors that is the perfect balance of tangy and sweet -- the cinnamon cardamom -- a super spiced ice cream that, despite being freezing cold, feels like you're about to drink a warm beverage -- and blueberry sour cream crumble. When I'm feeling less adventurous, they also have a really solid strawberry ice cream that uses real berries (none of that artificial nonsense you see in grocery stores) with a delightful fruity, slightly tangy flavor. There's usually a pretty long line, but it moves quite quickly since they don't allow samples. It's also a small space that gets crowded pretty easily, so I'd recommend taking your ice cream to go and enjoying it as you walk around Mt Pleasant or on the benches just below the entrance to Mount Desert.

Rating: 3/10 Date Last Visited: 5/3/2026…read more We ordered the Triple Scoop ($8.25) with Mutabbaq, Blueberry Sour Cream, and Watermelon. The mutabbaq is good, but the fruit flavors were not good. Blueberry was alright but I couldn't taste the sour cream at all. Watermelon was artificial and bad too. They also don't let people sample, which is weird for an ice cream place. Overall, I would not recommend this place because paying $8+ to take a random chance on ice cream flavors is not worth it at all. At least let us sample first...
