I know, I sometimes tend to complain too much in my reviews ;). Well, I still think Jet's is pretty stingy with the toppings. However, I have to admit that their pizza is just incredibly good. The Jet 10 Pizza is always loaded with meat and vegetables, just to be fair. Plus, there is never too little red sauce or mozzarella cheese. Jet's portions are small but very substantial and heavy. If you need even more flavor, the Jet's Turbo Crust is a free upgrade and characterized by a combination of flavors of butter, garlic and Pecorino Romano cheese. Pretty wild. I recently got a coupon for a free 4 Detroit-Style Deep Dish Corner Pizza with one topping for my birthday. Fun! Thanks Jet's! That's why I wrote this little update. Stopped by Jet's Pizza on Sheridan Drive the other day, and I've got to say, it's a solid spot! I went for the Detroit-style deep dish with pepperoni, and that crispy, cheesy crust really hit the mark. The sauce has a nice tangy kick, and you can tell they're not skimping on the toppings. I also tried the Jet's Bread--super garlicky and addictive, especially with the ranch dip. Service was quick and friendly; my order was ready in no time, and the place was clean, though it's takeout-only, so no seating. Only reason it's not a full 5 stars is the price feels a tad high for what you get, but the quality makes up for it. For those that like deep dish Detroit style pizza, this should become your new "Go To" pizza place. Unlike some pizza lovers, I like thick crispy crust and Jet Pizza has just what I like. Because it's baked in a deep pan and they cover the entire crust from edge to edge with cheese you get nice chrispy browned cheese all around the edge. If you like corner pieces, order their 4 corner or 8 corner pizza. The 4 corner version is baked in a square deep pan and cut into 4 pieces. The 8 corner version is simply two 4 corner pizzas but at a little bit lower price than two 4 corner pizzas. People that know me know I have this thing about round pizzas cut into triangles and put in square boxs. JET makes mostly square or rectangular pizzas, cut into squares and put into square or rectangular boxes, that's the way it should be. Tried Jets yesterday as I heard they were good. I ordered a large NY style pizza, a 4 corner super special and an order of mild wings. The 4 corner was ok, but nothing special. It reminded me of a frozen Motor City Pizza Co. The wings are baked, not fried. But, the NY style pizza was not good. Didn't mind the crust, but it was horribly salty and I could not finish the slice. Very disappointed. read more

We ordered delivery. EVERYTHING about this was AMAZING. The marinara tasted fresh and delicious. The pizza crust was Devine. The "side salad" fed 2 people for 2 days. It's always exciting to have a new pizza place in the neighborhood. Jet's Pizza fit the bill. I've never been to their other location so it was totally new experience to me. I can't say I'm normally a fan of of the thicker Detroit type pizza but am always willing to try something new. Their 4 corner pizza caught my eye since I like the edges on the pizza. Even more enticing was the grand opening offer of a free 4 corners pizza! So we ordered 1 with pepperoni and 1 with anchovies. We also ordered a small Greek salad. I really enjoyed the crisp buttery crust. The sauce wasn't bad but nothing outstanding. Best part of the meal for me was the salad. The ingredients were all nice and fresh and plentiful. The small salad was enough for the 2 of us to share. Though I wasn't crazy about the Greek dressing. it had a bit of a sweetness to it which I could have done without. Updating my review ... today I ordered a single slice and Jets bread with ranch online. My order was ready when I arrived. I was greeted by an upbeat person which I love and when I left both the cashier and man working back with the food told me to have a nice day. I'm always a fan of great customer service! The slice was great. That funny taste I couldn't figure out with my last review wasn't there so it was just a great slice of pizza. The Jets bread is dangerous! I couldn't stop eating it! And the ranch was good and they gave more than enough to eat with both the pizza and bread (don't judge me!). My son is enjoying the Jets bread as well and loves it. Well, guess I'll have to try again next year for my summer bod!!! read more

First time customer, so sorry to report that my experience was less than desirable. My wings were cold, inadequately sauced and Jets forgot my dipping sauces. Additionally, my calzones were 85% dough/bread and 15% or less toppings... they also left off toppings which I paid $1.20/each for x's two calzones!!! TL;DR, - GET THE BOTTLE OF RANCH DRESSING. - GET A SKILLET COOKIE. - THEIR SAUCE IS TERRIBLE. After receiving a barrage of coupons for Jet's, it was time to try it. I really am a sucker for a coupon, so their marketing team got that one right. It was my introduction to Detroit Pizza & it wasn't a bad first impression. Ordering online is easy. I tried using a couple of coupon codes, to no avail. They didn't work, & I didn't want to deal with the impending rigamarole to save a few dollars. Ugh. So I ordered & 20 minutes later picked up. Location is great, & I hope they get established there. That Plaza tends to have an above average rate of turnover, but Jet's has a chance of becoming a staple. The staff was very friendly & eager. I love that. No one jaded at the counter, A+. We ordered the Jets10 pizza, cheese pizza (both Detroit style), cheesy bread with sauce, & the skillet chocolate chip cookie. Oh & the ranch, which should not be an after thought! The pizza looks amazing. I snagged a slice of the Jets10. I love the crispy crunch of the pillowy dough. The toppings were all good. I particularly enjoyed the ham & green pepper combo. It took me half a square to figure out what was off, for me. It's the sauce, I'm not a fan. It's bland, has lots of skins (I call them tomato slivers) - which grossed me out, & it does nothing for the taste of the pizza. Why does the sauce make Jet's lose 2 stars? Because in Buffalo NY the sauce on your pie is a big deal. A huge deal! It's uniquely quintessential to the local pizza based cuisine we all love & adore. Three main components to pizza: dough, sauce, cheese. If one sucks the other 2 had better pick up the slack... in this case the cheese & dough were a-ok. Not wildly remarkable, nor even really memorable. The cheesy bread is basically just sauce less pizza, so you can imagine, I preferred the bread. I love that you can order toppings on the bread & I will do that if I order from here again. The side of sauce, well you know where I stand, & I would have chosen a different side sauce in retrospect... Which leads me to the next point, THE RANCH DRESSING! It is delicious! I understand why they sell this in a squeeze bottle. It reminds me exactly of old school Pizza Hut's ranch on the salad bar, which was my fave! Order this. $4/bottle is a great investment! We loved the skillet cookie, but who doesn't. It's a warm chocolate chip cookie in a pie plate. Dreamy. My friends & brother all liked the pizza but no one LOVED it. And we all agreed about the sauce, though they cared less about it than I did, lol. The heavy load of tomato slivers really turned me off, especially because the taste sucked. If you don't love local pizzeria sauce, you may like this sauce. And seriously, don't forget to order the ranch. read more

Surprisingly delicious pizza. We had a slice of pepperoni and a slice of plain. The crust was thick and chewy, but in a good way. There was lots of sauce that was on the sweet side. Got the 2 of the 4 corners pizza one with peppers mushroom and black olives the other with ham and pineapple and they were amazing. So delicious. The toppings were fresh the pizza was hot and the crust is so delicious and crispy. They were also ready for take out when they said they would be and the employee was very friendly and helpful. This pizza was really really good. I recommend it for sure. We had just an 8 square pepperoni deep dish. But me and the wife commented at least 3 times in the 4 pieces we had how good it was. We took a long motorcycle ride to check out the falls, we were beat and decided to grab some drinks for the room and order a pizza and relax. Plenty of restaurants in the area that sounded good. But we ordered in and couldn't have been happier. The pizza had plenty of flavor, the crust was perfect, the pepperoni was just a tad crispy. Everything was spot on. I'll be honest, I made a comment when we were deciding what to order about the price. Thought it was a bit steep. But after ordering it. No complaints at all. And we ordered the 8 square pizza and only ate half. Very delicious and very filling. I travel a lot for work, and try to never bash a restaurant for a bad meal unless it's really bad. But I try to be honest because I read these reviews when I travel and it helps me decide where to eat. With that being said, I try to give praise when it's due. And I will be missing this pizza for weeks I'm sure. It was very delicious. I recommend giving it a try if you are passing through like we were. And hopefully locals already know. read more

If deep dish pizza is your thing then you will likely love this Michigan born brand. But if you're looking for WNY style pizza, this isn't it. It's not WNY cup and char with chewy glutenous crust.
