Place is quaint, even has a goose guard outside! Loved how friendly everyone was even though they were stacked on orders and had three people behind the counter. Got the pizza on time (albeit I was late on picking it up), and even as it was being held warm for me, it was still hot when I got it. Staff there know how to handle the goose so don't be afraid of getting in and out of the place! Pizza itself was quite good, sauce was nice, and the exterior was crispy and not at all soggy. I wish I knew about Jet's when I lived in Virginia Beach, but I'll still make the drive occasionally. We're creatures of habit and we always get the BBQ Chicken Detroit style pizza. It's honestly everything and then some. Cheesy, sweet, savory, crunchy. Our kids get a small half cheese/half pepperoni, and even they will eat almost their whole slices(squares). I've nibbled the pepperoni and I've no complaints. Their location is very easy to miss. I don't recommend missing it because you'll have to do a whole song and dance to turn back around and try your luck again. If you make the turn, the lot is super spacious and the building is easy to spot. We did have an issue a few months ago and boy was it a doozy. My husband called and placed and order, and I came to pick it up. It's raining mind you, so I kinda wanted to get the pizza and go home. I walk in, pay for my order under my husband's name and head home. I get home and ta-da! They gave me an order for someone else. I paid for my order, the priced tracked with what my husband told me it would be, and the amount of boxes I received also tracked. The store was empty so I assumed it was my order. Why wouldn't it be? It's a good 30/35 minute drive from our home so driving back out in the rain was frustrating. We called and they apologized profusely. They refunded us and gave us a credit for a future order. We ended up having pepperoni pizza instead. It wasn't terrible, but it had nothing on their bbq chicken pizza. Located next to Oishii Burger, and when I went, there was a Miami Dogs food truck outside. I ordered a small 4-corner Detroit style cheese pizza and the Turbo Stix with some Jet's Ranch. My friend got the two-slice combo. The man I spoke to was very friendly and patient. This was some of the best pizza I've had. Perfectly crispy corners, chewy crust, sauce had good flavor, and lots of delicious cheese. The Turbo Sticks were just as good, with gooey assorted cheeses, garlic, and butter. The slices of pizza are very filling. I could only eat one slice plus 2 Turbo Sticks. My friend downed his two slices quickly, though. I live about 30 minutes away, however, whenever I'm in the mood for deep dish, Detroit style pizza, it's Jet's!! Staff is always jovial and professional and really seem to love their job! We ordered a large and a small which is more than enough for 4. I would describe it as not quite Chicago deep dish but definitely a thicker crust with crispy edges on the square slices. (Reminds me of a big chain's Pan Pizza) The toppings were generous with thick and well seasoned sausage. We enjoyed our pizza! We also ordered the Buffalo wings. They looked great but just didn't meet our expectations. Sauce was bland and overall underwhelming wings. Seemed a bit pricey for what we ordered ($45). That said, the slices are thick and filling. It used to be a hike for us so we never got a chance to try it. Being closer we decided to give it a try for a Friday night. We ordered ahead and did the curbside pickup. We got there earlier than expected so we had to wait a few mins until our order was ready. They came out to the car with our boxes and it smelled so good. We couldn't wait to get home and start eating! We ordered 3 pizzas - Hawaiian, Detroit style veggie and Detroit style pepperoni. The Detroit style pizza was sooo good. It definitely lives up to the hype. Now i know why people keep talking about this pizza. It was a rectangle thick pan pizza, think Pizza Hut but waaaay better. I loved how you can customize everything about the pizza. The style - Detroit, thin, hand tossed, NY. The crust - buttered, garlic, parmesan, cajun, turbo and so much more. The bake style and toppings. So much variety! We also ordered the cinnamon stix for dessert and you can't forget about the ranch dipping sauce, i was actually gonna skip this because we had some ranch dressing in the fridge but I'm so glad I didn't and we ended up buying a squeeze bottle of it. Their ranch went so well with the pizza and I'm not even a ranch dippin kinda person with pizza. It was delicious!!! The pizza itself (Detroit style was my fave) was mouthwatering. I've heard solid things about Jet's for years and there is no denying this chain has a very strong following. The overall composite score of 4.5 is impressive with friends enjoying. However, most of our family was not fans of the deep dish pie. The location is off Princess Anne Road and the Ferrell Parkway split. It's in a small strip beside a Speedway gas station. There are a few other businesses like Mancino's. The lot is not large, but was adequate to park on a Friday pick up order at 620 PM. The lot and walk up clean. I called the order in around 605. They answered on the second ring. The gentleman who took the call was super nice and handled everything professionally. My order was an 8 corner pepperoni with turbo bread and side of bread sticks that comes with choice of marinara or ranch sauce. The time table give was 15-20 minutes. Upon arrival the order was ready. The waiting area is small, but tidy. Checkout was friendly and efficient by female staff. The price with $23 w/ tax. You can cash tip or add on card. The pizza looked appealing. I put on plates with bread and we opted for marinara. My son immediately reported he thought it was just ok. I thought better than ok and it reminded of Little Cesars which I do not care for as too bready. The pizza offers a lot of bread and lighter toppings with lots of parmesan. The pepperoni tasted pretty good. My daughter liked the most. Everyone agreed that they did not care for the bread sticks. Jet's offers different pies and more on the menu.
