We had pizza delivered to our office for lunch and I was pleasantly surprised at the pizza. We had a cheese and a pepperoni pizza. Salad and cheesy bread. It was hot and the pizza was good. Quick and efficient. Ordered pickup and it was ready right when we got there. Pizza was pretty good for delivery style pizza. Quality ingredients as the pepperoni tasted fresh and there was a good sauce to cheese ratio. No real complaints about the pizza. Its not the best but if its late at night its the best option to get the job done. The cheese bread was a highlight after having bad luck at other pizza establishments. If you're looking for an app, I highly recommend it. Finished it all off with cinnamon pull aparts. It came with a sweet drizzle. It was average and I wouldn't order it again. My main issue was it was inconsistent. Some pieces would have cinnamon and taste good. Others, however, were just pieces of bread. It wasn't easily distributed. Regardless, I'm not ordering pizza for the cinnamon bread. Marco's is a good option if you want a pie late at night or if you are hosting an event. read more

Wanted a gluten free cheese pizza and it was pretty good. The cinnamon rolls were acceptable. Service was fast and prompt. However, I ordered Garden Specialty Pizza Bowl and said no mushrooms and it came loaded with mushrooms. That was yuck and disappointing but otherwise everything was fine. read more

Marco's was a life saver tonight. We planned to dine at a pizza place at the ocean front only to arrived to a closed location after online hours stated they were open. We drove to two other locations only to find no parking and another location non existent. Our other go to was super crowded. Marco's was open and on our way home. The young man that took my order was so kind and added a drink to my order. The order was ready super quick and we were headed home in no time. Thanks Marco's! Ordered from here again given all the 5 stars reviews and was not surprised when again our order was mediocre at best. There are MUCH BETTER pizza places here in Virginia Beach. Not cheap and twice now haven't gotten our order correct. Won't make this mistake a third time. Specifically asked for light cheese on both pizzas and both had what I would consider extra cheese. I think this maybe my favorite pizza place around the Va Beach area. Simply amazing. It's all thanks to the woman that took my order. She was a blessing. She was so sweet and made my first experience with the restaurant better. The store was nice and clean. The menu was clear and didn't leave me confused like most do. What I really loved was the artwork on the walls! It was pictures colored by the children that came I to the store. So cute. Also the front counter lady mentioned that they serve the local schools after football games indicating community service. Now...my pizza was good. It wasn't too much flavor but just enough. I opted for extra cheese. I got a lunch special that was enough for two people and a bottled drink. My total wait time was about 7 minutes with a total time in store was about 12. Also while I was waiting the women working held real conversation with me making my awkward solo lunch waiting time less awkward. And once I received my food they held the door open for me. I tried Marco's pizza for the first time today and WOW!! Do not underestimate Marco's--their sauce? top tier. The cheese? delicious! The bread? primo. Not to mention the stellar service! A very nice young gentleman with tortoiseshell glasses took my order and made my food and he seemed to be genuinely friendly and happy to talk to me. You just can't find that kind of service everywhere anymore. He definitely took my already-enjoyable experience to the next level. I will surely be back. If you're thinking you want to stick with your usual pizza place...Pizza Hut..Dominos...they're great and all, but why not give Marco's a try? read more

Delivery driver left my pizza outside in the rain, I took a bite of the pizza the pizza was cold and wet so I called asking for a refund said they can come pick it up if they need to, they did, to which the delivery and old, Caucasian, bearded male driver started pounding aggressively on the door I heard him try opening my door, he seemed drunk or just has serious anger issues and was yelling all because he left the pizza in the rain and I didn't want a cold wet pizza, craziest experience I've ever had, I called to make sure I got a refund and the dude who delivered it answered, I asked if I got the refund he said and I quote" you shouldn't have, you ate half of it" and then I was like "I ate a bite realized it was cold and wet and called back" his response was "whatever" hung up, crazy ass experience could hear him yelling outside my house about it, trying to open my door, I'm a young female and live alone was worried dude was gonna get physical over a pizza. I actually really like the pizza prob in my top 5 of places here that are chain style, but they never answer the phone! I've tried ordering from here 7 times over the last month and would wait 8-10+ min on the phone while it rings. Eventually I just stopped even trying not worth giving my money away. This location hasn't been here a year yet, but I ordered from them twice already to give it a try. I can't remember what I ordered the first time, but this time I ordered the BBQ Chicken pizza. If your in favor of a sweet BBQ sauce, I suggest ordering their pizza. I'm more of a savory or spicy fan, so the BBQ chicken pizza was too sweet for me. I'm so blown away by this place to be honest . This little pizza place is right down the road from me and I never even payed any attention to it. Last night I was wanting something different than the usual papa johns so I called and asked if they had any specials , the gentleman who answered went on for a while with all the deals they had , I got a xl pizza , cheesy bread (which is TO DIE FOR ) and a salad and paid 29$ which I wouldn't say is a steal , but well worth the quality of what you receive . The only things I can even say I will ask for next time is the cheesy bread to be cooked longer , as it was still slightly doughy in the middle (still crack ) and extra marinara sauce because the tiny cup they give you with the sticks is very very small . During the pandemic you pull up to collect your order and stay in your car , don't be me and walk in ! I saw a tiny sign on the door saying mask required and just walked in when the whole store front is clearly decorated saying stay in your car -over my head . I will most definitely be going back , and most definitely be telling everyone I know to get this pizza !!! read more

We didn't realize this was a chain when ordering. It was a Friday night and we didn't feel like going out. We ordered and they told us about an hour. It came quicker, about half an hour on a Friday night! Awesome. We ordered an 8cut veggie and added pepperoni. It was pretty expensive, so the value could have been better, although I know we are at the beach. I didn't care for the pizza all that much. There was hardly any sauce flavor and the crust was just so-so. It was alright, but I do not think I would order from a Marco's chain again.
