It looks like they do quite a bit of take out. We were sat immediately and our waitress was very helpful. We got the small basilico salad and spaghetti with meat sauce. Everything was delicious. The sizes were recommended and they were huge and more than enough!! I love the build your own pasta so you literally pick your pasta, sauce, protein and veggies. It's like a family style and I would love to go with a group and we all share. They also have a happy hour. I will definitely be back. Now....my 92 year old mothers complaints. 1. It was too cold. We were going to move but they had a big fan blowing and they turned it away from her. Now take that with a grain of salt because the heat in her room is set to 76 and it's April. 2. It was too loud. Since the kitchen is open you can hear the cooks doing cook things. She was irritated by the noises coming from the kitchen but once again....grain of salt. The volume on her TV is at 80 and she can't hear it but can hear the kitchen noises. 3. The seat was too hard. Once again....grain of salt. She is skin and bones but I will bring her something to sit on next time. She actually did enjoy the food but I got the leftovers. :) We will be back.

We took a spontaneous trip to VB for dinner on a weeknight after seeing a reel recommending Hearth…read moreand am I glad we did! The ambiance was nice, the open kitchen with the wood fire hearth right at the entrance added a warm cozy feel from the onset. The restaurant was warmly lit but not dark. We were seated immediately in the far left dining area in an elevated booth. After reviewing the menu we settled on the fried deviled eggs and wood fire oysters for starters and the Vincent Vega pizza for dinner. Fried deviled eggs was a first for us and it was so good! The egg white was breaded very lightly and fried and the egg yolk was piped on top with a piece of smoky delicious bacon goodness. It had a nice smoky, bacon-y taste and we devoured them. I only wish you got more than 2 pieces. I think 4 pieces would be better for the price considering it's essentially one egg but I'm not complaining. The wood fire oysters was another hit for us, the serving came with 6 half shell oysters topped with breadcrumbs (light), swimming in butter and fire roasted. I think we ate these even faster than the deviled eggs lol! Would definitely get these again. The pizza also did not disappoint. If you like bacon, mushrooms and creamy Boursin cheese, you'll love this pizza. We added crushed red pepper flakes which added a nice kick. The crust is the star of the show; thin, crispy but still has body and slightly chewy. Yum! That wood fire hearth definitely makes a difference. Overall we had a great experience and will definitely be back! The staff were also very nice and friendly.

The pickled garlic was an excellent addition to the board and the elk salami was fantastic. I had the steak sammy, which was a Sunday Special. It should be on the menu all the time. It was excellent. The fries were crisp and perfectly seasoned. My wife had the pork chop. It was perfectly cooked. Pork can be dry. This was not. Just well done and seasoned to perfection. My son had the steak sammy (like father like son) and his wife had the half chicken. It was all spectacular. So very good. For dessert we shared the cheesecake and the tiramisu bread pudding between the four of us. Everyone was happy. The portions were large so to go boxes were had by all. Special shoutout to Reagan our server. She was exceptional. Made the right recommendations on all things. Timed our orders perfectly and we had just an amazing time Thank you Hearth Wood Fired Cuisine and thank you Reagan for making my Father's day. We cannot wait to come back to visit with you all again!!!!

I used the self ordering kiosk to put in our orders. The slices and combos were expensive, understandably so since it was a tourist destination. They were NY style thin crust pizza. The cheese and meatlovers slices were decent, but they had a lot of oil on them. Overall the place is good for pizza take out, but I would avoid sitting down for a meal here.

She efficiently handled taking care of all 20 of us at 2 separate tables with a great attitude. Our drinks were always filled, we got plenty of plates and boxes, and she was constantly checking in on us to see if we needed anything! One of the most attentive waitresses I've had. The food was great too, I had a gluten free All The Way pizza and it was LOADED, almost too many toppings! The crust was slightly softer than I prefer but that just comes with all the wet toppings. The rest of our party was also very pleased with their food & experience in general! Thank you Shorebreak for a spectacular dinner!

Our server was Lauryn, and she was great. She was nice and attentive but not worrisome. We had the Wisconsin Cheese Curds along with the house made Sangria. As an entree, I had the whiskey burger with truffle fries. I really liked the cheese curds; they're a lot flavorful than traditional mozzarella sticks. The house made sangria was really good too! We had to stop ourselves from just sucking it down. The burger is where I had the issue. It was a little on the dry side.... Too well done despite asking for medium. It also wasn't seasoned well. The only flavor rally came from the bbq sauce and onion straws. The truffle fries were good though. The menu said they won't best burger of Virginia Beach, and that was made me get a burger. Not the best burger I've ever had. Next time, I will try the pizza and probably go to the Shore drive location since that is closer to my house.
