    White pizza add chicken

I LOVE THIS PLACE! I'd raise my first born child inside if I could. The people who work here are so kind. They pay attention to you and go the extra mile! Now for the food!! We have ordered in store, online, and delivery. ALL EXPERIENCES HAVE BEEN AMAZING! The food is 10/10. we like the vodka pasta, and the spicy Alfredo chicken. This time we tried a new pizza but we have never had a bad one from here!

Had my 10 year old walk over to grab a soda while getting my nails done next door and they charged her $5 for a 20oz coke. Just awful, will NEVER return. Taking advantage of a little kid buying a soda is diabolical

A yelp Elite friend of mine recommended Anna's. So anytime an elite recommends an elite to try a place that's just what you do! Called and placed an order over the phone for pickup. I decided to do salad and figured I would get a garlic knot when I got there. I was greeted right away. I asked if I can get a garlic knot I was told they sell them in half dozen. I really did not need a half dozen garlic knots, the guy said why don't you just get a slice of cheese pizza? I have it ready so glad he recommended that the cheese pizza is very good. One of the best I've had since I've been here I definitely will be going back there for pizza the salad was large enough for two or three people. The restaurant is small but cute. The only thing that upset me was after I was paying for my order some woman came rushing in and started yelling her order while I was still trying to talk to the gentleman so much so I turned around and asked her. Why is she yelling in my ear?. but that's not his fault he can't control other people in their actions. I will definitely be back. Thank you to my Yelp elite friend for recommending.

2 slices of thin crust pepperoni pizza, huge.

Thanks to the landmark review of another, this was an easy find, it is in a strip mall location, very near to Ollie's and just before Captain George's. Many thanks. This quaint restaurant is very clean, that is really appreciated. We were greeted by the owner, a young man named Shazam, who told us to sit anywhere. There was only 1 other patron on this weekday visit. He handed us the menus, and we looked through, I decided on the lunch special of 2 slices of either cheese or pepperoni pizza, drink included for $8. Now that's a deal! My husband chose the Philly Steak sub, loaded with peppers, onions, mozzarella and ketchup, and mustard .$13.99. They only do 12" subs, no halves. .The roll was fresh and crisped perfectly in their typical pizza oven. The brand of ketchup they used gave it a nice zing, a good complement on the sub. My 2 slices were thin crust, and they were warmed in the same oven, no microwave. I added hot peppers and oregano. The first bite came across as a bit salty but not overbearing. The sauce was really good, not sweet, just the right amount of cheese and pepperoni. The outside was as moist as the center of the pizza. Specials (daily and weekly) were hand written on a huge chalkboard to the left as you enter. The music is a very relaxing guitar recording, very soothing and pleasant, the volume was just right. There is plenty of free parking. This business would be a huge success if closer to the boardwalk, but prices would have to increase dramatically. Maybe a second store there would expand it. We will definitely return the next time we are in town.

Wanted pizza, but didn't wanna go out and get it. So, I looked for a nice place that delivers. I found this place had good reviews and decided to give it a try seeing as I hadn't ordered from here yet. I asked for "well-done" in the comments of the order, and in my opinion it wasn't as much as I would like it. It was kinda just cooked to normal. As for the crust, it was thin, but it wasn't crispy, it was droopy even (as pictured). Cheese was good quality, nice flavor. Sauce was a normal amount, but kinda bland. As for the crust part, it was supposed to be garlic flavored, but it didn't really have any trace of that. As for grease, it had a pretty standard amount. When we got the pizza it also was room temp, and it's only a 10 minute drive at most, do with that what you will. Now, for the totals, it was about a $20 pizza with the additions, $7 for the delivery fee, and with taxes around $30. Not too bad, but I've had better for the same amount, not including tip. Will keep the search going for the best slice of pizza in the area.

Three and half stars. It is an italian restaurant in small strip mall. Small dine in area. Saw quite a bit of pick up at the restaurant. Good portions. Service was great. The bread and meatballs were the highlight of the meal. Nothing super special about it.

Wanted pizza from somewhere we haven't tried before and thankfully found Anna's Kitchen. Awesome little restaurant located near Yukai Buffet in Laskin. We were pleasantly surprised at how nice and intimate it was inside. Appetizer was mozzarella sticks and we shared a white pizza as an entree. Wanted some extra protein so we added crispy chicken on top, and it was amazing! Tons of specials offered and plenty of pizza options to go around. Service was great as well. Definitely coming back!

Located in the hilltop shopping center, Anna's is one of our favorite stops for pizza when visiting VB. They have daily specials ($1 slices until 4 pm) as well whole pie specials. You can't beat a 14" cheese pizza for $6.99 (Mon-Wed.) Also, pizza and wings specials. We ordered Margherita and Pepperoni pizzas. Good crust to sauce and cheese ratio with generous toppings & would say with a New York style crust. Service was ok & friendly.

They offer a variety of handmade biscotti and classic pastries like napoleons, tiramisu, berry tarts, and rich chocolate cakes that all looked straight out of a bakery in Italy. Everything felt authentic and thoughtfully curated, not mass produced. They also carry Italian imported olive oil and a beautiful selection of deli meats, including capocollo, mortadella with pistachio, prosciutto crudo, ham, salami, and sopressata, plus cheeses like mozzarella di bufala and stracchino. It's the kind of place where you can build the most incredible antipasto board or grab specialty items you can't easily find elsewhere. If you have time to linger, they also offer a variety of Italian wines by the glass or bottle, representing different regions of Italy. It makes the space feel even more like a neighborhood market meets cafe, perfect for picking up catering, desserts, or just treating yourself. The penne alla vodka was a hit at the party! It was creamy, flavorful, and clearly made with quality ingredients. Everyone kept asking where it was from. I can't wait to have it again Between the warm service, authentic offerings, and standout food, this place is a gem. I'll absolutely be back, whether it's for catering, pastries, or just to browse and grab a glass of wine!

It's not even tourist season yet. Found La Bella Italia on Yelp showing available immediate reservations and decided to give it a try. Arrived at 6:30pm and it was busy but not packed. Husband and I were greeted and seated promptly but had about a 10 minute wait before a waiter came to bring water and inform us our waitress would be with us shortly. Another 5-7 min and the waitress came out. The waitress seemed nice but distracted or maybe very introverted. We started with the bread and butter and Insalata Di Cavalo (baby kale, apples, red onions, candied pecans, vinaigrette). The salad way yummy! The bread was decent (my husband would have wanted it warmer) not sure if the butter was just unsalted or if it was margarine but we didn't care for it. It was served with a bottle of oil and vinegar... A small oil dipping dish would have helped. We tried the bruschetta appetizer which was tasty but wish the basil would have been cut instead of one large leaf per toast. We realized at that point, the waitress never asked if we wanted drinks. I was only planning on drinking the water so it was no big deal to me. My husband caught the waitress at some point to request a drink. The big disappointment for the night was the Margherita pizza. I'm including a pic...but it was just cheese pizza, soggy bottomed at that. No fresh mozzarella, maybe there's some basil under the regular mozzarella, who knows. The cheese pizza flavor was average at best. Debated sending it back but my husband had been fasting all day and didn't want to wait for a new order. He ate 2 pieces, the rest was a waste. I ordered the salmon served over mushroom lemon risotto. We asked if there was any way to order a side of risotto for my vegetarian husband, but were told the chef was not willing to do it. Not really complaining about that since the risotto is not listed as an ala carte side. Salmon was cooked nicely. Crisp sear but not overdone on the inside. Risotto was only okay after all so it worked out they couldn't serve it as a side. I had to ask multiple times to see a dessert menu, waitress kept forgetting. I got a slice of the carrot cake. This was delicious but at $14 a slice it needed to be! Apparently it's made by their sister restaurant Steinhilbers (I haven't been there in years). Final note, the bathroom situation... There are 2 single room bathrooms for a restaurant holding up to 100 people. There is NO reason to label a single person bathroom as male or female. It just creates unnecessary waiting outside the "ladies room" Overall rating is probably a 3.5 but the service was lackluster, the bathroom thing annoyed me, and I'm still mad about the pizza... So I have to round it down to a 3.

We were honestly a little hesitant going in because of the reviews... and unfortunately, I can see why now. First impressions -- the restaurant is gorgeous. The hostess stand is stunning, there's a visible dress code posted (which caught my attention), and the bar area where we were seated is beautifully designed with a very upscale Italian vibe. It was surprisingly empty for an 8 PM reservation, though -- only one other couple in the bar area and no one in the main dining room. Our waitress was a standout. She greeted us right away, was incredibly pleasant, and very knowledgeable about the menu. We always appreciate when a server can confidently recommend dishes -- it makes a difference. They start you off with focaccia bread, and I have to say... it was amazing. Soft, flavorful, and paired with olive oil and balsamic for dipping -- easily one of the best parts of the meal. (Side note: I'll never understand why two people get three pieces of bread give us four so we don't have to negotiate!) For entrées, my Bestie ordered the rigatoni Bolognese, and I went with the fettuccine Alfredo (no pancetta, no peas -- which they did accommodate). Here's where things went downhill. The pasta was not good. At all. I understand al dente, but this wasn't that -- it was hard. On top of that, it tasted like boxed pasta, which is disappointing for a restaurant that presents itself as upscale Italian. When we mentioned it to our server (after barely touching our plates), she did go back to the kitchen, but we were told that's just how they cook their pasta -- and nothing was adjusted. At that point, there wasn't much else to do. We didn't even bother with dessert. Between the underwhelming food and the unwillingness to address the issue, it just didn't live up to expectations -- especially after seeing how beautiful the space is and how great the service started off. Would I go back? Probably not. I prefer fresh, properly cooked pasta, and this just didn't deliver.

I made a reservation right away because we were told it was necessary -- but when we arrived there were plenty of open tables. It didn't feel like reservations were needed at all, which was confusing. The host even seemed surprised that we had one. We were seated at a very small two-person table tucked into a corner by the window, despite there being more open space available. It felt cramped and not very thoughtful in terms of seating. Service was another challenge. Our server was polite, but there was a clear language barrier that made it difficult to understand menu explanations or get recommendations. With a smaller, more curated menu, that guidance really matters -- and we didn't get it. We ordered the Tagliatelle Bolognese, which was decent but not memorable. For a place that's described as "top-notch" and made-from-scratch, I expected more depth and wow factor. The best part of the meal was honestly the bread, which was excellent -- we even bought a loaf to take home. Dessert was the Tartufo al Caffè and while it wasn't what I initially expected, it was enjoyable and a nice finish to the meal. Overall, this experience didn't live up to the hype. Between the unnecessary reservation requirement, cramped seating, communication issues, and food that didn't stand out, it just wasn't worth it for us. We both agreed we wouldn't return.

So I figured it would be nice to take her there for Mother's Day. She can reminisce about dinners with dad while I could finally get to experience Aldo's for myself. Aldo's isn't normally open for lunch, but for Mother's Day they were (for obvious reasons). I made a reservation about a month in advance and we arrived about 10-15 minutes early. Aldo's happened to have our table ready, so we were seated in no time. We were seated at a two-top near the piano, and were greeted quickly by our server, John. He was kind, pleasant, helpful and especially courteous towards my mom (I really appreciated that). Personally, John could've ignored me, as long as he made my mom feel at home. He did that with ease and his service was a clear highlight during our visit. We went ahead ordered some appetizers - mom got a cup of the she crab soup, and we split an order of calamari. At other establishments, the calamari tends to be salty, but Aldo's calamari is spot-on since it was perfectly salted. I would order calamari each time I visit Aldo's - theirs is the best I've had locally. Since John brought us some bread, I used that to try mom's she crab and it was delicious. I would've ordered one myself, but I was content with the calamari. We didn't do strictly noodles for our entrees - mom had the Lamb Rosmarino (6 grilled lambchop lollipops, honey rosemary dijon marinade, parmesan polenta cake, sauteed zucchini, roasted red pepper, fig balsamic), which she described as fantastic. I had the Costoletta di Vitella Ripiena (12 oz. butterflied veal chop stuffed with sauteed spinach and mozzarella, served with linguine aglio olio) - this was perfection. I finished my entire plate, while mom had leftovers after having all her soup and a good amount of calamari. We shared a dessert, a Ferrero Roche cheesecake that was decadent without being overly sweet. It was the perfect closer to our meal. In addition, Aldo's was clean and organized. Its decor reflected an Italian influence, but it was still homely. The tables looked/felt to be very close together (their bar is small), though, especially since they were at near-capacity. But that's not a big issue, unless people start bumping into each other. This was a 5-star experience. Aldo's is perfect for special occasions and any time you wanna be pampered a little for dinner. Since it was Mother's Day, I'm happy that my mom was happy. Thank you, Aldo's! JV
