The beer and pizza both delivered, and the space offers some excellent people-watching, especially when it's busy. We went over Thanksgiving weekend, so the place felt packed and energetic, which probably pushed it beyond its usual crowd level. Service was friendly and upbeat, though slower than I expect for this type of casual brewery environment. Nothing disastrous, but long enough waits that I noticed. The ambience leans "indoor picnic": * Bright lighting * Long communal tables suited for large groups * A central stack of kegs arranged in a pyramid, likely doubling as a seasonal "tree" It feels like a natural fit for happy hours, big family outings, or a group of friends meeting up. There were a few kids running around causing minor disruptions. Given the family-friendly vibe and location, I considered it more of an expected annoyance than a real problem, but it's worth noting if you strongly prefer a kid-free environment. Overall, I recommend TailGate Brewery as a casual, lively spot with good beer, good pizza, and a social atmosphere--just go in expecting some noise, a crowd during peak times, and service that leans more friendly than fast.

Thankfully I looked prior to leaving and it was clear the order was not right. I brought it back in, asked the manager (joke) in charge if this was what I ordered and he said no. He then said, what can I do to make it right. I said I would wait for the correct order and he can decide what's right. I can't even make this up!!! I sat for no more than 5 minutes before another employee shows up with a pizza and a cookie. I let him know I don't need the cookie or want it. Before I walked out I looked at the pizza. It was clear to me that I was handed the same pizza that was given the first time! I asked both if this is what I ordered, extra cheese and extra sausage. The employee (not the one who said he was the manager) said yes, this is extra sausage. How, in almost 5 minutes did a new pizza get cooked??? They clearly think I'm stupid and handed me the same pizza. I will never come back here and give my money and time to a dishonest establishment and the teenagers running a ship.
