First time here and it's in the same plaza as Hurts Donut. We've tried Chicago deep dish and wanna see what Detroit style is. Looked like it's the shape and not as deep as a Chicago one. The cheese is quite pungent or aromatic depending how much you like cheese. The scent was quite strong in my car after picking it up. It was tasty and only 20 minutes for it to be ready.

I came in to try some Detroit styled pizza and it wasn't so bad! I think there's just too much breading for my liking. I loved the crunch though! The edges were extremely crispy but once you reach the middle it's just soft bread basically. The wings were quite delicious as well but nothing too extraordinary. The slices + wings took about 15 minutes in total and I assume they just reheated the slices. Great place if you want to pick up some quick slices!

Been craving some Detroit style pizza since my recent trip there. Never knew Jets was around here and it did not disappoint. Timing for pick up was spot on. Pizza was delicious. Well worth the stop!

Jet's pizza is a Detroit style square pizza. Having lived in Detroit for several years, I have had several versions of the "Detroit" style pizza and Jet's lies solidly in the middle of the pack. We ordered a Hawaiian, sausage, and cheesy bread. The Hawaiian was good, with good chunks of Canadian bacon and what seamed to be canned pineapple. Let me say that at Jet's they do not skimp on the sausage one bit! The sausage pizza came loaded with large chunks of spicy sausage. The cheesy bread with marinara sauce was fantastic especially after we heated it up. Overall, jet's is a decent pizza joint that will definitely fill you up and satisfy your pizza cravings.

I think this is the best deep dish style pizza place. Crust is cooked to perfection. 10/10.

Food: A nice selection of pizza, split between ones with and without tomato sauce. I got the Lombarda which has Gorgonzola Cream, Pears and Apricot Glaze and Arugula. My wife got a cheese, sausage, mushroom and onion (CSMO). Both of them came out, pipe hot, with nice crisp crust. Nice presentation for both pizzas. They were both good, but I was a bit underwhelmed with the Lombarda. If it had Apricot Glaze, it wasn't very noticable, and maybe was the reason that it needed a bit of salt to enhance the toppings. The CSMO was very flavorful, and clearly the better of the two. Service: Super friendly and helpful service, both when ordering and when the food was delivered. The cashier was patient and happy to give us advice on what their favorites were. Atmosphere: It's a small place. Some interesting vintage large photo print on the walls. When you walk in, you place your order at the counter, and bring an order number to your table. I'm on the search for the best pizza in Madison, and Novanta made it pretty high on my list. The ingredients tasted fresh, and the flavors were simple but delicious, like most Neapolitan pizzas. I'm a huge fan of pizzas baked in stone ovens, and I was not disappointed by Novanta's ovens, which were imported from Italy. The staff was very friendly! They greeted us warmly and made sure we had everything we needed when the pizzas were served. I will definitely be back soon!

With 2 Wood fire pizza ovens and an open kitchen concept, this place was it for me. Pizza: personal size, got the Salsiccia ($13) which was delicious. Crust was amazing, thin but scrumptious. Service: it was empty when I went at 2 and you order and pay first even if dining in. A lady (I believe her name was Lugenia?) was manning the front. Had to ask for napkins and asked for a cup of water. Got the napkins and an empty cup, water never showed up, no explanation. An elderly white couple showed up afterwards and they got the whole speech, come to find out (by eavesdropping) that there's a water fountain in the back. Well now I'm glad I tipped for no service at all. As I was leaving, a young lad was changing shifts with her and he seemed very friendly and thanked me for coming in. So maybe I just got unlucky with the service because he seemed a lot chipper. Parking: in the back, make a right at the light after passing the bagels shop. TLDR: come for the great pizza, but service could probably be a hit or miss. Takeout pizza would be amazing here.

Getting a basic pepperoni pizza with a semblance of something that I hope is more authentic than the corporate versions offered by places that are the McDs of the US pizza offerings. Rosati's seems to be the best option in this area of west Madison. The sauce is certainly my preferred sauce type. Very tomato and garlic heavy. Tonight I drove around the cities western streets for an hour trying to avoid going home to have to eat which would mean I needed to cook something for myself. I'm very tired of having to cook for myself night after night. Easter I cooked for the family and like usual I had to do the dishes prior to cooking because the kitchen wasn't ready for me create properly. Following a nice family dinner I was graced with being the one who was expected to do the dishes. Some days I really wonder why I had a family in the first place. Oh yeah, my wife said she wanted children or what was the point. So I was strong armed into it. Now that she wants a divorce I realize that my purpose was served, now that the kids are grown. I'm half way dead serious about that statement. So tonight I decided to return to last night's pizza place because I discovered that they also have a small seating area. The place is a dumpy dive with very standard old school offerings and decor. Seating is sparse and uncomfortable. But the lady serving me was friendly and attentive. The Italian Beef I ordered was massive. Very well filled to overflowing meat and an abundance of hot giardiniera. That was my first time in awhile having this sandwich, and well beyond the last few versions. The jus came on the side. Something that seems like it should be the only way to get it. Back when I very first visited a place of this sort when I first visited or perhaps lived in the Midwest and discovered this creation when I still had very little experience in Chicago and what it was about, I was told to have the Italian Beef dipped. I didn't know what was going to be delivered to my table. It was certainly something that was about to make an impression. You can't eat it with your hands. Though I tried in vain. A huge mess. Still I'm often tempted to get it done that way because I think it is supposed to be done that way. But it is not a good idea. Sure, using a fork is an option, in fact I can only imagine the next best alternative would be to not bother using hands at all and dive in face first. After all, it's a messy procedure. Tonight I tried with the jus as a side to dip. It was still a mess, and this sandwich simply demands to be eaten very hastily. Did I already mention the jus was very good? This is the first time I've ever had it and actually considered adding salt. It didn't need it. But usually it's mostly salt and secondly it is not tasting of beef. I'm thinking if Rosati's has soup, it's probably very good. The only thing I would add is that the meal was served very quickly but the fries arrived lukewarm at most. Because they were still fresh tasting I didn't want to make a fuss. Adding a bit of salt and a lot of pepper, and I was pretty contented. Being an Italian joint I didn't want to embarrass myself by requesting tartar sauce. I LOVE black pepper and tartar sauce with French fries. Most people, including my previously mentioned irritant I'm soon to be referring to as the X, that's among the many things she's been using as a way to insult me for years. One that I admit is a bit legit. But hell, they're MY FRIES! I can enjoy them anyway I please. Thank you very much. Four stars only because I don't have anything else to really compare with nor do I want to state that this is the best of the best. But it's definitely a place I return to when I'm in the mood for this kind of stuff. Prices are great. Service is always from the staff, and that has been my experience at this location every single visit.

It was a long line, and no direction to indicate if all the people were awaiting MAKING an order, or Receiving their order. So I returned to my car and created my order online. It informed me the pizza would be ready for pickup at 5:45. So I went home and turned the oven on, watched TV and waited in comfort. At 5:45I drove back and by 5:58 I was once again faced with a line of customers. Not a line, but a clump. Some were certainly in a line, three, actually one mommy with two little kids. The rest was a confused group who may as well have been a group of Alzheimer's geezers, judging the dazed looks on the more elderly among them. I stood at the counter where I saw a sign stating "pickup for online/phone orders" Directly across the counter in front of me was the last kid in the assembly line. He was the wrapper, and most certainly, this kid was employed by all appearances in the job that suited him. He was possibly either really baked or simply couldn't find the right length of bus and wandered into this place. I stood there, fully expecting SOMEONE who might be an employee to greet me or perhaps just tell me when/where I might find my pizza. Stunned silence. The entire group, possibly 17-18 in all, dead silence. After beginning to really feel uncomfortable, I saw someone (a veteran of PMs I realized) walkin and go directly to a rack of shelves and pick a pie and leave. So that's how it works. You just walk in grab any old pizza and it's yours for free! Man I feel stupid. I paid for two! But that was where I discovered both my pizzas, and the label stated they were ready for pick up at 5:43
