Aside from having issues with the store not having some crusts, the staff was very helpful in working out the order. I love their crunchy, deep-dish crust. Not overcooked. Their sauce: kist the right amount with good seasonings. Their regular cheese pizzas have plenty of cheese. The bold pepperoni is a bit spicy, if you like that, but not offensive or overpowering. Overall, a well made and well-balanced pizza. It's a crowd-pleaser; order the Xtra large! Yum yum!!

Food: A nice selection of pizza, split between ones with and without tomato sauce. I got the Lombarda which has Gorgonzola Cream, Pears and Apricot Glaze and Arugula. My wife got a cheese, sausage, mushroom and onion (CSMO). Both of them came out, pipe hot, with nice crisp crust. Nice presentation for both pizzas. They were both good, but I was a bit underwhelmed with the Lombarda. If it had Apricot Glaze, it wasn't very noticable, and maybe was the reason that it needed a bit of salt to enhance the toppings. The CSMO was very flavorful, and clearly the better of the two. Service: Super friendly and helpful service, both when ordering and when the food was delivered. The cashier was patient and happy to give us advice on what their favorites were. Atmosphere: It's a small place. Some interesting vintage large photo print on the walls. You order at the counter, then take a seat at one of the tables along the left side of the restaurant. It looked like there were as many people picking up to-go orders, as there were dining in. The arancini was soft and soggy but probably the best tasting item. The pizza was just ok, nothing special but not bad. The real issue was with the pasta, specifically the capellini balsamico which was bland and had way too much sauce compared to pasta - it was almost like a soup. The vodka pasta was ok, slightly less bland but also just swimming in sauce. For the price I expected the quality and taste to be better. After 2 tries I think it's safe to say I wouldn't try again.

When you walk in, you place your order at the counter, and bring an order number to your table. I'm on the search for the best pizza in Madison, and Novanta made it pretty high on my list. The ingredients tasted fresh, and the flavors were simple but delicious, like most Neapolitan pizzas. I'm a huge fan of pizzas baked in stone ovens, and I was not disappointed by Novanta's ovens, which were imported from Italy. The staff was very friendly! They greeted us warmly and made sure we had everything we needed when the pizzas were served. I will definitely be back soon!

With 2 Wood fire pizza ovens and an open kitchen concept, this place was it for me. Pizza: personal size, got the Salsiccia ($13) which was delicious. Crust was amazing, thin but scrumptious. Service: it was empty when I went at 2 and you order and pay first even if dining in. A lady (I believe her name was Lugenia?) was manning the front. Had to ask for napkins and asked for a cup of water. Got the napkins and an empty cup, water never showed up, no explanation. An elderly white couple showed up afterwards and they got the whole speech, come to find out (by eavesdropping) that there's a water fountain in the back. Well now I'm glad I tipped for no service at all. As I was leaving, a young lad was changing shifts with her and he seemed very friendly and thanked me for coming in. So maybe I just got unlucky with the service because he seemed a lot chipper. Parking: in the back, make a right at the light after passing the bagels shop. TLDR: come for the great pizza, but service could probably be a hit or miss. Takeout pizza would be amazing here.

Pizza raw, or pizza so over baked to the point of cheese being nearly black and hard, poor service, now this time one of the cooks was leaning over the big white board that food is prepared on for customers resting her elbows and front of body over the board eating food. This is an absolute food safety hazard. Also, bathroom smelly and no paper towels in dispencer to dry hands. I have not experienced this before the last year. This place has really gone down hill. Time to find another pizza place. Rosati's originated in Chicago. I am from Chicago. The owners would be embarrased knowing this especially the food safety concern.
