As a retired business management professor, I found the difficulty to place an order unacceptable, and decided to order in cash, I then asked to talk to the manager, and was routed to 4 team members who never answered, and cut me off. Carryout Time: Approximately 20-30 minutes Order Was placed this evening and after About 20 minutes, I went inside the store to check on it. The store manager informed me that he could not find my order and when I told him it was for three regular pizzas and one thin crust pizza, he proceeded to tell me that it because it was considered a large order he went ahead and delayed it by an hour, and I could come back and pick it up or he could cancel the order for me. I have never experienced anything like this before in my life when it comes to ordering pizza. This location is full of unprofessionalism and I will NEVER order food from here again! Spencer the "manager" sounds to be fresh out of highschool and clearly has no background in customer service. I called the store to let them know that after finishing the first half of my sandwich that I felt something hard but sharp in my mouth and upon spitting my food out I saw a finger nail in my hand. He put me on hold and came back on the line to proceed to tell me that all of his employees have fresh cut nails so it wasn't anyone in his store. Summary: Wrong pizza, sad lava cake, false promises. Unbelievably poor customer service coupled with poorly prepared food from this location. I usually enjoy Domino's over the other pizza chains, but this location has me questioning my Domino's loyalty. I ordered a jalapeno, sausage, and green pepper medium pizza, and got just a cheese pizza. I called the store and asked for a refund and they promised me that they would send a gift card via email. I gave them 24 hours, which I think is reasonable, and then called them again the next day to ask about the gift card. The person answered that they have a long list of emails to work through for gift cards. This is obviously not a reassuring statement. It has been 72 hours and I still have not received said gift card for my refund. The next piece of sadness came in the shape of these lava cakes pictured below. Even with the wrong pizza, I was hoping to be able to enjoy the cake. I was wrong. They were wet, mushed, and thoroughly under cooked. What I assumed happened was that someone opened the freezer, turned on the only microwave they could give, and zapped these guys for a solid 10 seconds. I ordered delivery about a mile away from them and it took 55 minutes to arrive, when they said it would be less than 30 minutes to deliver. After a migraine all day, I ordered pizzas, parmesan bites, and chocolate lava cakes and opted online for curbside to make life easier. My daughter picked it up for me, but the parmesan bites and lava cakes were missing. When I called, they were super polite and said they would make new ones for my husband to pick up (we're not in delivery area). Not only did they give us the fresh ones, but also the first ones they made, which we can just reheat later. They were so polite to me and to my husband when he picked them up and it is very appreciated. I swung through here thinking it was still the "old pizza place" that lived in this location. I was going to grab a couple of cheap pizzas to feed the kids and their friends. There sat Domino's instead. I didn't feel like driving to the "other place's" location, so I went in to see what I could get. Prices were close enough, and I knew the pizza would be better. Service was great - the manager behind the counter was very friendly and worked quickly. A few other customers came in and got the same treatment. I had to wait about 10 minutes to get my stuff, which wasn't bad (still quicker than driving to the other place). Overall, the pizza was decent and the service was quick and friendly. It's chain pizza, so you know what you're getting into. If you want the oh-my-god-fantastic pizza from the Madison area, you know where to go. If you need something quick to feed the family, this place will meet your needs. The little parmesan bread nuggets were pretty excellent. Much better than the "breadsticks" that looked dry and bland (though I didn't eat them). Yes, it's the place where we stop for pizza for convenience -- it's on our way home from work, it's cheap, it's simple. Do they always get our orders right? No. Do some of the staff there need a lesson or two in customer service? Absolutely. Am I going to stop going there as a result? No, it's too convenient.
