It's got to be at least ok. It was better than just ok. It had a generous amount of cheese and the symtickiness that good Mac and cheese must have. For my taste, it had too much garlic. I'm a big garlic fan. When I see a recipe that says "one clove of garlic," I figure it's a misprint and they meant "one head of garlic." Here, they used powdered garlic, and I feel like the amount they used covered up the natural sweetness of the cheese. The ambiance of the place was spot on. I am visiting Madison, from Oregon (Go Ducks!) Driving by the place it looks like they've got to have at least passible 'cue. Inside it was classic back woods barbecue chic. My husband is a big BBQ guy, and I'm not, so it was definitely his choice of restaurants. Telling a disabled person to do something that's past their limits or capabilities or claiming they are faking their disability. I try the sun Prairie location. Robert Figueroa, some kind of magician, has no issues opening a gas powered wallet torch right next to the buffet, leaving harsh fumes lingering around the food. He obviously doesn't know what he's doing. Both locations paint is peeling everywhere, carpet has disgusting stains, plates and silverware have stains, chairs and tables are never fully clean, no funzone, buffet is always empty or old and they're charging almost 20$ per person to eat. Kids over the age of 12 are full priced. The treachery here is CRAZY. Enforcements need to be called.

There was a tiny stage that looked like it could accommodate a musician. We sat at a long table which might have been tight if the table behind us was populated. What really stood out, was the food. Particularly the brisket. Amongst our group we had the carved brisket platter, the pulled pork platter, the pulled pork sandwich combo, cornbread, coleslaw, mac n' cheese, and wagon rolls. Wagon rolls are eggrolls stuffed with brisket and cheddar. I loved these and would definitely get them again. Portions were decent; brisket was eight ounces. The pork was tender, juicy, and delicious. The brisket was the star and several of us thought it was the best brisket we had ever had. The coleslaw was broccoli based, with a light mayo. Mine did taste like it had just come out of the freezer and was a bit icy, but I really enjoyed the flavor. The cornbread was delicious and our friends enjoyed the mac n' cheese. I'm still concerned that this place might not make it as it just does not seem busy on Friday nights, but I hope it does. I thought it was tasty and worth visiting again.
