As someone whose family is from Chicago, I know what a genuine Italian beef is supposed to taste like, and Rosati's in Sun Prairie absolutely hit the spot! I ordered the Italian beef with sweet peppers, dipped, along with an order of fries. The Italian beef was outstanding, juicy, flavorful, perfectly seasoned, and everything I was hoping for in a Chicago style beef. Honestly, it's probably the best Italian beef I've had in Wisconsin. The fries were really good too, but the Italian beef was definitely the winner. But what really made the experience stand out was the ambience and service. The walls are covered with Chicago memorabilia and details that represent different parts of the city. Walking in honestly felt like stepping right back into Chicago. The service was fantastic as well. The young woman working the counter was from the Chicago area, and she was incredibly friendly and a great conversationalist. That personal interaction, combined with the Chicago atmosphere and the food, genuinely made me feel like I had walked into a little mom and pop spot back home. I find it amazing, that with the quality of food I have had here, that it isn't busy all of the time. The wings are awesome, the pizzas are great, and the salads are spectacular. Even the desserts are wonderful. The cannolis are my favorite. There are 3 or 4 TVs to watch and it has booths and tables. I wanted to love the Chicago style deep dish but I couldn't get past the thick bread crust. It put the other ingredients out of place and was dry and hard to eat. You might love it so please try before you take my word for it. It was a heavy, well baked pizza with a good tasting sauce. It was hot when we picked it up and the place was clean (bathroom aside). They have a decent menu and I can see where they are coming from on their pricing. Went in for a quick lunch today. Got a few big slices of pizza for a good price. The pizza was exceptional. I enjoyed every bite. The ladies up front were very kind, we were greeted on our way in and thanked on our way out. 5 stars for the service! The dining room is very nice. It still looks brand new and pretty. read more

The sign on the front of the building says Pizza Beer Sports. Only one out of the three were met. This store is not your normal Rosati's. No table service, you place your order at the counter. NO beer! No sports! If you like loud Rap music this is the place for you. The only thing it has going is the pizza. Thankfully our pizza was hot and delicious made to order. I love the restaurant Rosati's in lake Delton , Wisconsin. Went to the Rosatis in sun prairie Wisconsin a few days ago for the meatball sandwich and beef. I asked if this Rosatis was associated with the Lake Delton one. She said no. So I Asked for extra cheese and got home no extra cheese. And of course paid $6 extra dollars. Let it go. So I came here today and wanted a pizza. As soon as I ordered the one lady who was cashier told the total. Again asked for extra cheese. So all I did was question the bill. The one lady I was working with continued to explain wrong. So was aggravating . Then the other lady also tried explaining and again I wanted clarification of why the bill seemed to be wrong yet again prior to paying for my order. I was going saying had no issues and simply wanted to know why it was so high. After ten times it was finally explained correct. The Second Lady then became very rude snapping asking ARE YOU GOING TO PAY!! I showed my card and said don't be rude I wanted to know why the bill was higher than on the menu. I said last time I got no extra cheese and paid so my pizza better have extra cheese. She did not care and continued to be rude and disrespectful. I'll drive the 100 mile round trip to the other Rosatis from now on and not ever go back to the sun prairie one. It seems like the owners took mine and other reviews seriously and made some changes. We had Rosati's last night and it was the best customer service experience we've had. The food is still on point and now that the customer service is soooo much better we'll be happy to order from them again. Huge shout out to the owners/management for implementing changes. I finally got around to trying this place. I'd meant to for a while, but last night they posted a deal on Facebook that got the teenager and my wife begging for pizza, so we broke down and got it. Rosati's makes a solid pizza. It's not a life-changing pizza, but it's solid. It's a good, tasty, sit-down-and-watch-a-game pizza. It's a Friday-night-watch-a-movie pizza. It's going to get the job done. It's going to taste good. No complaints about the pizza from my end. I'll order it again. The thing I wouldn't order again is their "dough nuggets." For $9, you get a box of pizza crust that's been cut to little squares and peppered with parmesan. It's not worth $9. They taste fine, but they're bland. There's nothing special about them. Maybe if they were slathered with garlic butter, they'd be better...but I'm talking you have to drown them. It's just a novel way to make something sort of like breadsticks. Empty carbs without substance. Stick to the pizza. I don't order pizza too often anymore because of health reasons, so when do breakdown and feed the craving for a slice, I usually go to Casey's and just buy a standard slice. However, the next time the family starts whining about wanting pizza, Rosati's will be high on their list, I'm sure. Solid stuff. No frills. But that's more than fine. read more

Went tonight to try this place out and was underwhelmed. We decided to dine in and the pizza took 50 minutes to come out. The appetizer we ordered came out 5 minutes after the pizza and the lady said - oh, yours likely went out with a delivery order. When the food came, it was good though the squares were cut oddly with some very large (too large) and others tiny. We recognize they just opened so likely working out the bugs.. we will return in a few weeks to give it another try. read more

After a good reviews on in a local FB group, we decided to give Rosati's a try. We ordered online for delivery at 4:35. Food was supposed to arrive in about 45 minutes. 5:20 ish. I figured they were busy and a little behind, but we had activities starting at 7:15 and this was getting close. I gave them a ring to see what had happened and they already knew! They neglected to give us a call and did didn't apologize. Unfortunately food was Luke warm at best, thin crust was soggy, wings (bone in) while large, soggy, boneless wings soggy. Double dough pizza held up a little better to not being fresh, but very doughy. The fried garlic dough bites slimy and greasy, the dessert fried dough bites greasy and cold. I'd pass on the cannoli (not soggy). The one redeeming thing is that the topping tasted fresh and the sausage topping had good flavor. For that one star. Customer service 0. What I would imagine food to be if it arrive fresh and above Luke warm 3. Similar quality to Sugar River, which has always arrived hot. We may give this another try to see what hot food would be like. But it's really hard to beat Sal's or Grampa's. read more
