I don't throw this around lightly, but that was one of the most delicious sandwiches I have eaten in my life. The smoke was deep, the ham was tender, and the mac and cheese on top was a legitimately inspired move. Absolutely killer combination. Having spent 25 years in the military, I lived all over the country and had some genuinely exceptional barbecue along the way. Places that locals swear by. Regional legends. All of it.
