When you're on top, only direction to go is down. JetBlue has made some improvements (allowing extra legroom passengers to board first), but on this past trip....the sat tv was out on both planes. Managers @ JetBlue....one of the MAJOR reasons I fly you guys is the sat tv. If that isn't available, then you just become "another airline" with above average flight crews. The tv puts you guys over the top. Will be calling customer service today to request a credit. Rides were right on time or early. Luggage was handled well as usual. Of course I'll be back. read more

This is the best airline around. I love the fact they have free wifi on their flights and have those nice tv screens for each seat with direct tv. This airline doesn't pack the passengers in. They have some of the most leg room that you will find. Being almost 6 foot tall I sometimes have my knees getting crushed by the seat in front of me when they recline. At Jet Blue you don't see that and they don't nickel and dime you to death for beverages and snacks. You have a choice of snacks that are unrivaled in the air. read more

1st time flying with Jet Blue-nothing special versus other airlines. Planes on time departing and arrivals. My pet peeve is that "NO" cell phone charging station anywhere on da plane-I was all over the place Yelping, and just as I boarded-battery ran down. Would be a nice addition to the airline, if they could incorporate one. Usual chips, cookies and nice flight attendants. read more

I mean, it's JetBlue. Cmon, don't expect a first class Emirates suit. It's a good easy flight especially at the price

Great service when things go wrong! Flight was delayed because plane was out of order.. After boarding everyone on the new plane we get out to take off and something's wrong with the plane we had to go back and have them fix it.. !!! Super frustrating day. And threw it all the captain and flight crew made it As painless as they could. hats off to their customer service bad experience but at least they handled it professionally with a smile. read more

JetBlue has made a mess of supporting customers during the outbreak. While other airlines are issuing credit regardless of when travel was booked or wherever you intend to fly in June JetBlue has refused to issue credits or refunds if you booked before the outbreak was well understood. That's right, too bad for you if you booked before March 6th. Absolutely horrendous experience with them. read more

Had asthma attack on flight do strong fumes in cabin from the engine asked for oxygen hostess refused!!! Begged for coffee for steam so I could breath I blacked out, passed out was so out of it was unconscious no one helped!!! Couldn't even think I needed help getting off plane!! Called airline about being aerotoxed never called back!!! I literally could breath or get off plane or runway fucking scary!!!!! The aero fumes were so dangerous I'm still not thinking properly!!! Not sure how to protect yourself from this!!!!! They gave people free booze on flight!!!! I love Jet Blue. I have only had good experiences. My most recent good experience was today, Feb 20, 2013. I was on flight 1403 from Austin to San Francisco. I had a heavy carry on bag, and was dreading putting it in the overhead compartment. As I began to lift it, and put it in the overhead, the flight attendant, Marina came to my rescue, lent a helping hand, and provided just the assistance I needed to stow my luggage. So often, flight attendants watch as passengers struggle with their luggage, as if, it's the passengers fault for packing so heavy, so the passenger needs to deal with it. I have helped folks, and I have asked other passengers for help, and often, a passenger will volunteer to help me. But it's been a long time since a flight attendant helped me. Thank you Marina, for being a great flight attendant for Jet Blue! read more

Flight was delayed as always. You have to pay for everything. There aren't those head rest things built into the seat like avianca or even delta has. Just seems like cheap airline. Won't be using them again if I can help it. read more

We had our outbound flight canceled and my wife and I would have had to wait until the next day. That was not possible with a doctor's appointment with a specialist scheduled for the next day. We were told that we would receive a refund for the outbound leg and had to book through Southwest. I fly all the time on business and we certainly have our choice of carriers but had been loyal JetBlue customers. We were not given any credits. Were not comp'd in any fashion. The website does not allow you to cancel flights. Hold times are ridiculous and even chat bots have unacceptable performance with unacceptable wait times. My wife waited on hold for 45 minutes and finally got a human who was working on the issue and actually hung up while investigating. I am incredulous on how a company with such great service can spiral so quickly into the worst performing. To add icing to the cake I get an auto email from Don Uselmann who is moving to VP of Inflight Experience and how I'm a valued TrueBlue customer. Of course the email I sent to him and 2 other executives bounced back off the firewall they hide behind. read more

I was VERY late for my flight from Baltimore to Boston due to a late train. The first woman at the check-in said I was SOL, but the second woman ran with me through the security. I wish I had time to get her name so I could tell JetBlue about this extraordinary service. Even though it was a challenge, the staff made sure my luggage got on board. Everyone was very considerate and accommodating even though I was the late one. I think any other airline would have left me in the lurch. They may not be the most inexpensive, but they are worth the price for this service. read more

If I have the choice, I always fly jet blue and they've never let me down. That's saying a lot these days.

Without question the highest quality service-experience airline flying out of Austin. Going to LA soon? The Austin - Long Beach flight on Jetblue is by far the best way to get to SoCal. Not only is it a nonstop, but the fare is pretty good (we paid less than $250), and Long Beach airport is TWO TINY buildings and it takes less than 5 minutes to get from your gate to the rental car station. Jetblue has leather seats with 50 live cable stations, (relatively) friendly flight attendants, and best of all - only 2 seats per row (!) The worst part of travel for Cody and I usually has been the sardine Continental stuffs in the middle of us on the 737's.. By far the most painless travel experience to the West Coast we've had. read more

Flew Jetblue for the first time last weekend. Had a great trip from Austin to Long Beach and back. Easy flight, great fares, super attendants and crew. Flight was not crowded and had plenty of leg room. What a pleasant change from most of my recent flights on SW Airlines. read more

Lets face facts. When we travel we have to take a plane, there is just no 2 ways about it. We can't spend a week on the road, nor can we magically teleport our selves to our destination, thus flying is mandatory. And lets face facts, for the most part flying sucks ,from having to wait behind the 20 something year old who recently decided that is body should be the embodiment of a pin cushion to go through the metal detector then TSA officer pats you down, gives you a body search like a horny teenage boys feeling up his first girlfriend. then you huddled into a flying tin can like cattle going to the kill floor, have to battle the guy in front of you who thinks that a bag the size of Houdini steamer trunk is going to fit in the overhead, then trying to find your seat which happens to be behind the jerk who thinks hes at home in his barkalounger,so you sit there waiting for even a drop of water as you sit there parched like Israelite going through the desert sandwiched between a guy who snores the whole trip and another that should be having 2 seats but doesn't want to cough up the money, so he shoe horns himself into one overly small seat, meanwhile his muffin top spills over to your seat and all your thinking is that I am having such a bad time that the captain of the flight could have told you that we were diving into the ocean like greg louganis and you're thinking good, its about time. That is the typical way. I am Happy though that Jet Blue is different. The people are amazing, overly kind and nice. They treat you like a human being, the way that society used to treat people every day. The attendants are wonderful. And just to say that every time I can, I will fly Jet blue. Especially since I missed my plane in Austin, my fault and the young lady behind the counter, I can't remember her name, I think it is Rebecca, in Austin. But after learning that my fiancee and I missed our flight she did everything she could to help us out including giving us a discount coupon for a nearby hotel, so we could have a bed for the night. IT is people like that that have me coming back. Also, in the plane, the seats are a little wider ( SO muffin tops aren't as bad) and overall just everything feels like you're in good hands. read more

Amazing crew, so attentive and I loved their sense of humor. The flight was very comfortable with plenty of leg room. Service was quick and efficient. I enjoyed how friendly and chatty they were with the passengers and I couldn't believe a blanket was only 5 dollars. I was expecting an outrageous airline price :) Really nice experience. I think I'll stick with Jet Blue. read more

I really, really, really wanted to leave a great review for Jet Blue. I was impressed with my departure flight to NYC last week- the plane was very roomy and comfortable, more than any other airline I've ever flown. The TV was a great feature and made the flight go by quickly. However, my flight home was less than ideal. My flight was late leaving NYC, we spent an hour on the runway just because of "TV maintenance." Because we were late, about 20 of us on board missed our connecting flight in Orlando to Austin (home). Jet Blue's customer service was so unbelievably inconsiderate. The airline almost refused to take any accountability and offered very little solution to get me home. Because they only have one flight per day to Austin and the next day's flight was already full, they flew me all the way back to Boston, had me spend the night and then take a flight home to Austin from there the following day. NYC to ORLANDO-back to BOSTON-to AUSTIN. When I arrived in Boston that night around midnight, their customer service had no prior authorization for a hotel voucher and I had to jump through hoops to get what was promised. No courtesy vouchers, not even an apology from Jet Blue. I'm appalled by the lack of customer care. Surprisingly enough, I did end up with my luggage, thank goodness. I needed to get home to my child and because they were late, they should have sent me home through another airline, not fly me 10 more hours and a night to get home. 5 days later and I'm still waiting for an apology. PS- TV's were broken 2 of my 4 total flights. I always tell myself to stick with Southwest and now I remember why. read more

JetBlue - Airlines Near Me - Austin, Texas

I have been bumped x 6 times today from 2:40 to 10 PM! The people at Jet Blue are really nice. Weather was great in Austin and now they say the pilot won't leave FL UNTIL he has new route planning? What does the mean? Anyways after 10 notifications and yes I appreciate the updates instead of not hearing anything. We are leaving at 11;30. would haven't given a perfect score otherwise. read more

Booked direct flights from Austin to SFO in January for a summer vacation. On April 5 I got an email saying JB was no longer flying the route starting 2 days prior to my vacation. They gave me an "alternate" itinerary that made my previous 4 hour trip home last 10 HOURS and arrive at 1 am the morning after I should return. Fortunately I got my money back. Their "consolation" was a $50 travel credit with JB for each family member - non transferable of course. Soooo not interested. Got all my money back - that was pretty painless. Still gonna stay away from JetBlue. read more

I just recently flew out on JetBlue and both my flight there and back were delayed. I asked the airport security if this was the norm and she replied, "yes!" I was disappointed to have to wait many hours for both flights. When I boarded the plane I could tell that the plane was not cleaned thoroughly because there was still evidence of the previous traveler. The TV insets were cool and the flight attendants were professional. I don't know if I will fly JetBlue again :/ read more

Flying Jet Blue again. I forget how good the service on this airline is. While the flight was delayed due to its origination on the east coast (remnants of a hurricane headed up the coast), they loaded the plane quickly and efficiently. While I'm an elite customer on other airlines, the preboard policy annoys me - I remember at least one instance where there was one customer who was boarded in normal boarding. Boarding by row is much more intelligent (I love when I'm in locales where you get loaded from front and back). While we only had snacks on the plane, there was a good selection of good options. Frankly, the only reason I don't fly more is their relatively limited flight service... read more

Flying has lost it's art. We used to dress and make a big deal out of a trip. Now I have to strip down, deal with grumpy TSA agents and pay for my own water after security. There is a bright light at the end of the tunnel. Jet Blue agents are nice, not overly nice. They are professional and I can get on the plane that leaves on time, watch TV and eat GLUTEN FREE snacks. You want to get somewhere safe and be treated nice. That's a given. They make it better. read more

Is there a better airline to fly? I think not! Love JetBlue! No bag fees, free direct tv/sirius, free snacks and consistently low fares. What's not to love?!? read more

The flight was sooooo uncomfortable. My seat would not go back and the flight attendants were rude and giving attitude to people on the plane. I couldn't believe it. It's their job to treat people with great hospitality high up in the air. We should feel comfortable and not to be a burden on anyone. It was ridiculous. read more

Just took my first round-trip on Jet Blue and can't complain in the least. So it's not cheaper than other airlines--so what? For the same price, you get more legroom (I counted at least 5 inches more compared to some of American Airline flights) plus satellite radio plus DirecTV plus a selection of FREE snacks (that's right, folks--something other than peanuts or pretzels.) I'll definitely be flying with them again! read more

I fly JetBlue every month on business/pleasure between Long Beach, Ca and Austin, Tx. for the last three years. Competitive prices, really like the free Directv and XM free radio. Check-in and gate staff have always been friendly and efficient, decent leg room in the A320 plane. Also like the free first bag and the free in flight snack and drink. Online sight is easy to navigate and prices can be easily compared for different date. read more

Flew with JetBlu from JFK to Austin and everything was absolutely perfect! The people at the check in were so nice and welcoming and didn't even mention some of our bags were overweight. As we were travelling with instruments they were very aware of telling the crew responsible for getting the instruments on the plane that they needed to be very careful - great service! Lots of legroom, good temperatures, great snacks (as many as we'd like) and a good tv show selection... I will make sure to fly JetBlu whenever I can! read more

Flew in jetblue first time from Connecticut to Texas with a touch down in Florida. I didn't expect such a good service from a local airlines. Flights were on time and crew were friendly. Drinks and snacks were provided even on short flights. Although there was ample legroom in front of seats, seats were not that comfy. Not too cold inside the flight like some other airlines. Would recommend. read more

On July 4th, I was booked on Jet Blue for a flight to Amsterdam for a musical tour. My departure for JFK was 3:45 but was an hour late on flight 1094. I arrived 2 hours early since it was an international flight. I was the last person to board. As I was boarding, I was given a gate check ticket in case there wasn't sufficient room in the overheard. Gate check agent, Brad, followed me down the ramp and demanded to take my guitar. I asked if he would check with the plane staff to see if there was room. He refused. As I boarded, it became clear that there was plenty of overhead space. They had not booked any passengers for the first-class section so all of the bins were empty. I spoke with the pilot who offered to call the gate attendant and have him bring the guitar onboard. Brad then showed up with the guitar and said I had too many bags. I had only one carry on and the guitar and no checked bag. He said I would need to check one. I said that there was plenty of space and offered to show him my laminated copy of the DOT public law 112-95-feb. 14, 2012 regarding guitars on board. He said "I don't need to see that, get your bag and follow me", and removed me from the plane. I was never rude or loud during the discussion. I was stunned that he would prefer to remove me from the plane rather than allow me to use the available bin. I missed my flight to Europe and my non-refundable $100. room reservation fee. I also had expenses getting to and from the airport. I missed important meetings in Holland and didn't have sufficient time to sleep before going on tour. I was tired and stressed out and pulled my back out. I was in pain for the whole tour. My tour was ruined. When I flew out the next day on British Air, they offered to carry my guitar for me and placed it in a coat closet where they said they stored other guitars. They could not have been nicer. The actions of Brad were personal and arbitrary. He kicked me off my flight rather than let me put my guitar in one of the available bins. I was the last to board, so there was no one else that would have wanted the bins. In these times of public anger over just this sort of thing, I would think that the airlines would be a little more accommodating instead of creating a public spectacle over an empty overhead bin. This is exactly why the public is enraged and Congress feels a need to step in to prevent this sort of bullying. It also exposes the depths of this problem to our foreign business associates. They may be less likely to venture to the US if they are exposed to this sort of bullying. I am a performer and have a public international stage. read more

Let me start by saying I hate flying. You know those people who fall asleep instantly and sleep the whole flight? Yeah, that's not me. I'm the one who takes two anxiety pills, a beta blocker, and washes it down with a bourbon and still has a panic attack. But jetBlue made my flight to and from NYC so bearable. ALL of the employees were polite and genuinely nice. What was more, was they were having fun. There was a culture and camaraderie there that I just don't see in airlines anymore. PROS: Doritos and Keebler Elf cookie snacks (and they're not stingy with their treats) Cable tv Free!? (I watched Law & Order for 3 hours, bf watched The Hulk) Happy Employees Pilot communicated a lot with passengers (This is a big one for me because I am a nervous flyer. Wanted to say thank you for letting me know exactly when we would hit turbulence and how long it would last) They board the back seats first (makes boarding super fast) CONS: This is my wish for all airlines. That just once you would ask if anyone is a nervous flyer and then see if maybe we want a drink first. I know you can't see that I am freaking out, but my palms are sweating and I'm counting the rows until you get to mine. read more

Absolutely awful experience. What do you get when you add three Jet Blue employees in Austin? Confusion and a missed flight. Awful.

my wife and 2 little kids were supposed to fly from austin to long beach ca today at noon. we got an automated call from jet blue canceling their flight with no reason and to call them to re-book. i called them and they had no other flights for us until Thursday????? today is monday!!!! WTF??? they only said we could fly Thursday or they would refund us the money. horrible service and kudos for calling us 4 hours before we were supposed to be at the airport. we had to pay more to fly with another airline now since it is a last minute booking. i will never book with jet blue again. read more

We flew JetBlue once before and were wowed. We recently chose them for a planned trip and bought the tickets (just under $800). Found out 48 hours later that we had to cancel, which we did. We expected a cancellation fee (fair enough, I suppose) but what we did not expect and do not appreciate is that JetBlue will not credit our card with the balance. Instead, our $500-odd balance is being held (hostage) in a JetBlue account of some kind and that we must use it within 365 days or forfeit it. NOT a way to win new/faithful customers. read more

I found the women working at the gate counter to be very rude and condescending in response to a very politely asked question. Also, the JetBlue.com flight status didn't work for several hours today, and when I called, the wait time was 30 minutes. In general they have acted as if they are too important to be bothered to do their job. read more
