    AN EMPTY PLANE.

I gotta say I'm REALLY shocked with #jetblue . I got an email saying we could potentially be seated next to someone- I'm thinking if it's a full plane....or even 50% full, that totally makes sense....fair enough. it's not even 25% full. When I asked if we could go to an empty row further back, I was told by the attendant that we needed to sit in our assigned seat and it didn't matter that the plane was mostly empty....here's a picture at FINAL BOARDING. I mean... GLOBAL PANDEMIC.... put us in a row with another person even though it's EMPTY. SO the moral of #JetBlueAirways story is the value of empty on a plane that is 25% full is more important than safety. Awesome. #jetblue do better.

If you are looking for a cheap flight that does not give a shit about their customers then you should book with JetBlue. They are definitely NOT the airline they used to be. #jetbluedoesntcareaboutyou

Special call out to jet blue the new interiors are amazing free satellite internet and tickets that cost half of what southworst and other airlines charge and flight attendants far friendlier also unlimited free snacks and food quality wine! Mike and Courtney were the most awesome fight attendants I saw Mike help an elderly man back to his seat from bathroom when ride got turbulent.

JetBlue is by far my favorite airline. When I fly up to NYC, I go a little bit out of my way to fly with them, as it'd be easier for me to fly in to Newark than JFK, but it's worth the effort. I've been lucky to have consistently nice flight crews. On my most recent trip, I talked to one of the pilots, who could tell that I'm a nervous flyer. (Xanax rambling likely gave me away) He did a wonderful job warning me that we were in for some turbulence but told me that planes move a bit during turbulence without being injured like a boat rocks on choppy water without being injured. That really helped. And we did hit that turbulence. And the pilot checked back in with me as I exited the plane. THAT'S some good customer service! JetBlue has the best snacks, tv on board, a map that shows you your whereabouts/speed of the plane, the option to buy pillows and blankets on board (cheap - like $6 each) and you get one free checked bag! After flying like this, it's hard to appreciate other airlines. Tip #1: If flying from a busy airport (like JFK), pay the $10 for Even More Speed, and blaze through security. Tip #2: Bring your credit card and an empty stomach. The free snacks are great, but I'm in looooovvvee with the $6 beef or cheese snack packs. Mmmmmmm.

If I could give them a zero star I would. Because they could not get the lavatory to work right they cancelled the flight causing me to miss my son's graduation. Worst airline ever. Rude and matter of fact. You are fired!

What's not to love? Three hour and some change flights to NYC? Fairly good standard legroom, free in-flight TV and/or Sirius? And the coolest part? The in-flight travel map that sort of tells you what you are flying over. Did I mention the Glenlivet 12 year old single malt scotch? And the ice-cold Brooklyn Lager? For less than bar prices? Ok.... five stars!

I'll reserve the 5th star for actually First Class flying experiences (if they earn it), despite the fact that Jet Blue is my favorite way to fly. I'm so used to JB's extraordinary service, extra leg room rows, satellite TV/movies/satellite radio at every seat, amazing snack and beverage service, that I forget how crappy all the other airlines are. They really just do not compare. Now I always pay for the extra legroom upgrade because you get A)first boarding privileges, and B) lots of space in these rows. A lot of times nobody springs for the upgrade, so you get at least an empty seat next to you. I don't know why people don't spring for the upgrade, it's seems so worth it for your quality of life and comfort...but I am big on that. JB has more leg room in coach in general, so I guess that's plenty for most people. I just love Jet Blue, love it, love it, love it!

This was a tough weekend, given all the activities in downtown Austin (SXSW), and I knew traffic could be nutty so I planned accordingly as this was a one-day trip (previous obligation). Happy to say that the outbound bus quickly completed the boarding process and we were on the road in no time, and arrived in Houston at 1:15pm. The driver and attendant were pleasant (apologies I can't recall their names). I did opt to enjoy a meal on board - the chicken club sandwich (with bacon) was decent. Inbound bus back to Austin was right on time and boarded quickly, and I made it home on time - 6:45pm arrival. No meal for me as food options were limited but I did enjoy snacks. Again, the driver and attendant were pleasant (kudos to consistency). In my opinion, this is money well spent due to the overall value of service, and especially if you want to avoid driving yourself. The bus itself is really spacious, clean bathroom, and the seats are comfortable. I managed to nap on both rides. I will definitely use Vonlane again for future travel to Houston or Dallas.

It was fairly quick. The plane was clean. The seats were typical. They feel small but they are comfortable enough. There is a tray table on the seat in front of you that you can use, a place you can hang your phone on the seat in front of you, and a charger port that you can attach your charging cable to to continue charging your phone while in flight. The people that worked flying to our destination and flying back home were friendly and did their jobs well catering to everyone. Overall I had a positive experience with American Airlines. I purchased a first-class ticket for a red-eye flight and received none of the basic amenities I expected: no water, no blanket, no food, and no in-flight entertainment. Even the seat pouch was torn, and my phone fell through it. The situation became much worse when my trip was delayed by 15 hours. I was traveling to attend a wedding, but I ended up stranded at Austin Airport with no hotel accommodation, refund, or meaningful support from the airline. To even communicate wiht representatives we had to stand in line for 4 freaking hours. After waiting and dealing with the uncertainty, I was forced to cancel my trip altogether and return home, missing the wedding entirely. For the price I paid and the level of service I received, this experience was completely unacceptable. I would not recommend American Airlines based on this experience.

On our outgoing leg we had a horrible experience and when I left a bad review, luckily my wife checked our outgoing flights back to the U.S., only to discover our flights home had been cancelled. To make things worse, the airline had the audacity to say that I had cancelled our flights home (wife, step son and myself).... Oddly enough, we were in a remote beach front town with horrible internet, but sure United.... (Sigh) After having to dedicate almost three hours to get all of that resolved - instead of enjoying that time on our vacation... (sigh) Bottom line, if you can, try to AVOID this airline at all costs!!!!!! Not only do you become irrelevant once you purchase the tickets. If for some reason you wanted to talk to FIVE employees at a counter on a very late flight out of Houston and inquire on how you can pay for an upgrade.... Don't think that the staff at Houston will care once you're at the gate... Clearly their conversations ARE more important than any question you may have.... Again, if I can, I'm going to share the details (which I'm leaving quite a few things out) to everyone I know personally when they ask me "what do I think of United"...... I hope someone attempts to look up what happened from the airline, there is a three hour long recorded phone call once United left us stranded outside the U.S....... So, if anyone from United cares - do your research and see when I flew with my family, listen to the phone call and then attempt to explain or justify your actions... If not, I'm now going to see where else and as many places as I can leave your absolutely justified review!!!!!!
