I like the fact that they provide us with options when our cars need the repair before doing the repair and then trying to charge us like most of the other shops around us. I would highly recommend them for service on any vehicle, very affordable and dependable. I had work done around many of the shops in Villa Park, Melrose, and Lombard and I have to say these guys are awesome!!! * side note* As a fellow business owner I wish that your customers writing the fake reviews I read on your business knew the internet law. Internet defamation of charter, slander is ground for loss in revenue and I hope that they know that if they were not actually a customer they can get into a lot of heat and sued for that - wow Do your homework before you post things that are not true about a business you guys never received service on.

We were told the engine needed to be replaced completely and it costs roughly $4,000 to fix. They said it wasn't worth it but we couldn't afford to buy another car neither fixing it with that price. My friends referred us to 22 so we went in hope for something better. They were really helpful, thoroughly explained and showed us everything that was wrong unlike other places. Seeing we were in a difficult spot, the owner did lower the quote and I'm forever grateful! The car took about a week to be done. They even fixed the trasmission seal leak, which I was told was leaking during the inspection but decided to wait on fixing it another time, free of charge!!! They said since the car already all opened up might as well fix it or else it would have cost an arm and a leg in the future. Now we only go to them for oil change and car inspections. Very good service!

When I addressed it, he denied servicing my vehicle, despite clear evidence and confirmation moments earlier that the oil change was performed there. Instead of handling it like an honest professional, he became hostile, aggressive, and threatening--raising his voice, using profanity, and telling me to "get the hell off of his property" or he would call the police. This occurred in front of my toddler and escalated very quickly. I remained calm and called the police myself, as I had done nothing wrong but expected my property to be treated with respect and care. Only after officers arrived did he agree to fix the damage, stating he just wanted it to "go the f***k away." The issue was eventually corrected, but it was done reluctantly, with no apology or accountability. The customer service was extremely poor and unprofessional. I am giving 2 stars because I have had positive experiences here in the past. However, this incident--particularly the lack of honesty, transparency, and professionalism--was unacceptable.
