I was referred to Ting from a colleague because he was moving out of town…read more Ting has a small office but it is very relaxing. She shares the space with another business but it has never been obvious or intrusive. Her approach is kind, relaxing and very attentive. She is always checking in to make sure your comfortable and its working. Every visit. Ting has done an even better job than her colleague who referred me. I had so much more immediate pain relief. I had been going regularly every week, but now I go only every other week. Although, Ting is a traditional Chinese acupuncturist, her use of herbs is not a personalized mix but a general recommendation. She believes that the herbs she prescribes should be gentle and that is what I have found to be true. My digestion is better, albeit slowly progressing. I'm feeling better overall. I have been treated for extreme knee pain (due to a flayed meniscus, loss of cartilage and beginning signs of arthritis) that western doctors' only solution was physical therapy until it's progressed enough to have a knee replacement. (Which I did try physical therapy but it did little to relieve the pain) Thanks to Ting, I can sleep at night without pain, and hardly notice any previous issues at all whether I'm driving, walking or using stairs I am so very thankful to live without pain! Due to the pandemic, my treatments must stop. I'm looking forward to resolving one more health issue, losing weight, when I can resume sessions.

I have nerve damage in three of my toes from my foot being run over by a car so the nerves began acting up again making it hard to walk properly. I called on Friday for an appt. as soon as possible. Tiffany, the recpt., was so nice, she gave me an appt the next morning w/ Marco. I showed up just before 9 a.m. and filled out paperwork and Marco sat w/ me to review my medical history and asked about my foot injury. He was very professional w/ me and instructed me on how the process of the open room w/ multiple chairs works. He said I should walk into the room and select a chair and recline in it and he would be right in. He then asked if I needed to watch the time and if not I could stay as long as I wanted. Marco came in and began putting needles in and then asked me if I wanted a blanket and I responded yes. He brought one over and draped it over me and told me to signal to him when I felt ready to end the session. I must have been in the chair over an hour I was so relaxed. Marco was wonderful and when I got up to leave my left foot felt REMARKABLY better. No stabbing pain when I walked. Day two and my foot feels much better. I'll be going back for more treatments...I really appreciate the sliding scale fee so I can afford to be treated twice a week for the next 3 weeks until I feel 100 percent better again.

I made a 9:00 appointment--the first appointment of the day--with Lisa, the owner. After checking…read morein and waiting 15 minutes, I approached the front desk and asked if Lisa knew I was in the building and waiting. The front desk told me that she was likely getting the room ready and would be with me in a minute. After waiting another 10 minutes, I approached the front desk again. This time the staff told me that Lisa wasn't in the building, but was on her way. The office manager came out and told me that Lisa would be arriving in 30 minutes. I asked for a refund for the co-pay that I had already paid, and I was made to wait another 5 minutes for that. Since this establishment has a no-show/late arrival policy for patients, I thought it was only reasonable that I should be compensated for the no-show/late arrival of the practitioner. However, they don't offer that reciprocity. They will charge you for no-show/late arrival, but they won't be as considerate with your time. If they don't show--or show late--you're expected to wait, without any compensation. Very unprofessional and inconsiderate! I will not go back to this clinic and I will vigorously recommend that that none of my friends and colleagues use this in-network clinic. p.s. the "one star" is only because that is required to post the review.

I filled out all their required forms on the website but it took several weeks before they could find and process them for me to book an appointment. I finally book 2 appointments and get my email confirmation. Then I get an email confirmation for a different time. No call, no explanation why, no asking if I can make that time. I call and tell them I can't make this new time. The front desk says that is fine, they can change it back. I went for my first appointment. Today I get another email confirming my 2nd appointment but at the wrong time. I call back and they suddenly can no longer accommodate the original time even though they had already confirmed it so they cancel my appointment. I am not going to try again. Here's some advice for Well Balanced: if you don't want appointments made at certain times, don't have them available when you ask people to book online.
