Updating this review a year later to reiterate everything I shared last time!…read more We enjoyed a quick lunch on the patio with the cold and hot mezza samplers. Delicious to the very last bite with flavor throughout and spices to chase. Jose was our server this round and was very attentive and friendly. He steered us in the right direction for the right amount of food for two people. Would absolutely recommend this beautiful Lebanese kitchen for appetizers, lunch and dinner we will return!

My coworker and I came here on a Saturday afternoon, we got a reservation ahead of time and I'm glad we did because this place was pretty busy. We got their aperol spritz for drinks which was very refreshing, would recommend this for the summer. For food, we got their dip platter and chose their hummus, labne, and baba ghannouj. My coworker was gluten-free so they were very nice to give us some gluten free chips instead of the bread with the dips. We also got their halloumi fries which came with a pomegrante dipping sauce - I LOVED IT! The halloumi fries were cooked so well! We also got their prawns which were really fresh and delicious. I would definitely come back! Their hummus was so good, it's for sure a very authentic Lebanese spot.

First off, the shop is super small but I was able to snag a table (there are 3 but it seems most popular for take out). The service was fast and really lovely. And the cost is super affordable for the quantity and quality. I got the FALAFEL MANOUSHEH (FALAFEL MIX, SPREAD AND BAKED ON OUR HOUSE-MADE FLATBREAD. TOPPED WITH TAHINI SAUCE, TOMATOES, PICKLED TURNIP & PARSLEY) and a side of their hummus. The bread is baked freshly and the falafel packs a ton of flavour. The cold tomatoes, turnip, and parsley add a brightness without overpowering the main base. Their hummus was ultra smooth and was so nice to dip dip! This portion was huge and really made the perfect lunch! I dare to say this was one of the best falafels in the city!

Definitely try to go at opening or when it is not busy, as the dine-in experience is memorable - they place your order in a long wooden board to make it a beautiful spread. We got the Manoush'eh Special which has ground beef, pomegranate, etc and Sham Style which is shaped like a boat. We also tried the yogurt drink which pairs well with the dishes. The only con is that this place does not have free water, but it is no problem to have our own water bottles supplementing the meal. We also got the lentil soup which is pretty good. Definitely sufficient to share one to try, but the Manoush'eh outshines the rest of the items. I loved the quality and texture of the Manoush'eh and just the breads in general. It is a lot of food for 2 people so if you want a snack, you can definitely just share 1. Some people go here for the wraps too. Overall, an affordable restaurant with good food. We got the most expensive items and it was less than 50 CAD all-in, but a lot of the items are around the 10 CAD mark.

We ended up eating more than expected because the food was delicious, light and refreshing. We tried a bunch of the cold mezze (hummus, baba ganouch, kibbeh, and the fattoush salad) and they were all fantastic. Hummus was so smooth and flavorful, baba ganouch and fattoush refreshing and tasty. Pitas are served warm and are so deliciously light and airy. We also enjoyed the salmon and kibbeh kebabs - all were so yummy and well prepared. Apologies if I've spelled her name incorrectly but Mirna was amazing. She was so helpful in answering any of our culinary queries, so friendly (especially to my young nephew) and so attentive. The space is beautiful- elegant without being stuffy. Near the waterfront and easy to access. Highly recommend!

Then they told us they had run out and would serve us Costco pita. Upon leaving we saw people with Lebanese pita. A group spending 1600 getting shafted on pita. Not cool and super cheap. Even though we ate during their closing hours, they did not rush us and allowed us to order additional items. Highly recommend the mixed mezze dips platter and mixed grill platter. We ordered additional rounds of the lamb kebab because it was to die for. Cocktails were 10/10, every single one that we ordered was better than the last. I would however avoid the desserts. The baklava, though tasty was dry. The molten lava cake was refused and sent back by our kids. Didn't look very appealing. We would definitely go back on future visits for dinner.

Saba had been recommended to me by a colleague a day before when I was visiting Vancouver BC to teach a class. His recommendation was the Lamb Haneeth that was a lamb shoulder that was slow cooked underground in pots for 8 hrs so that the lamb fell off the bone and just melts in your mouth. It sits on top of a bed of flavored rice from the slow roasted juices of the lamb. Wow, just describing it makes me wanna go back as soon as I can to have it again! We also got the Flat Bread that was baked in a flame oven with melted butter . It was so crispy but chewy and lite.. SOO GOOD!
