I had the combination plate, which had hummus straight from heaven, vegetables cleansed by Holy Water, and rice that was as delicious as rice can be. Best hummus (and I'm a huge hummus fan, even make my own) I've ever had. Fresh baba ganoush, cucumber and tomato salad, falafel (only got 6 should have gotten 12). My husband had a beef shawarma plater with rice, hummus, salad, and pita. Everything was crazy good. And, through a little restraint and large portions, we have a little leftover for lunch. Falafel & Baba Ganoush was fresh and delicious. Sage tea so fragrant and delicious with lunch. The bread is soft with pull and tangy with just the right amount of sweet dipping into the eggplant salad. Baklava is so perfectly honey gooey sweet with the pastry flaky and bites of pistachios on top with loads of walnuts soaked in the honey inside the layers all hand made by the one of the owners. First off Danny is an amazing individual and very hospitable. The yelp reviews are honest on this one because the food is DELICIOUS! Me and my fiancé were in town for a interview and we decided to stop here based on the yelp reviews. Upon entering we were greeted by Danny who took our orders. We got the shawarma mix (beef and chicken) and the lamb chops. Danny gave us pita bread and sauces to start. The sauces were all homemade and so fresh and delicious. The dishes were PERFECT! The meat, the rice, the salad.... everything was seasoned to perfection. Honestly the best I've ever had. We even tried the desert. The baklava was the best baklava I've ever had and I've been to Israel and Turkey. Still hands down the best I've ever had. Danny even gave us a treat to try (Heresa) which is like a sweet cake. I ordered the lamb shank because it was the special. Every entree comes with rice or fries, Arabic salad, and hummus. Everything was good. The lamb was cooked in an oven and very tasty. They bring out a tray of sauces to dip pita bread in. There were a lot of different kinds. My personal favorite was the hot sauce and garlic sauce. My boyfriend ordered the beef shawarma. That was also very good. After that we got a piece of baklava and heressa. The heressa was very sweet and moist. And the baklava was really great. This is a small, Ma & Pa type of place. The menu is simple, yet adequate. The service is above average and the guy we had was attentive in meeting any modifications we asked for or inquired about. For an appetizer we ordered the garlic hummus and I must say it was perhaps one of the most creamiest and delicious hummus that I've had here in the States. The pita bread that came with it was not great, but did the trick and he gave us plenty of it. When they brought out the appetizer they also delivered a tray containing a yogurt based sauce, a spicy sauce and finely chopped chillies (or maybe jalapeño). For the main meal I got the combination platter. When it came to the table I was surprised to see some more hummus on the plate which did not go to waste. The rice was cooked just right and not overwhelmed with spices. The meats were also very good with perhaps my favorite being the chicken. All of it was good, but I personally wouldn't have minded it there was more chicken. The prices are reasonable and in line with the quality of the food and service given. Would I come here again. The Arabian tea was good too, topped with sage leaves. The desserts, harisa and baclava were not too sweet, the way we like it, also delicious and fresh & went well with the Arabian coffee.
