My wife ordered from here using grubhub. They didnt include her falafel...never told the driver. I called and they said they were out of it. What kind of mediterainian restaurant runs out of falafel? Bhaklava was two tiny little pieces of dry Bhaklava. Grape leaves were also tiny and not that great. Another time I went in person and asked the owner for some Taziki sauce on the side for whatever I had ordered. He said I couldnt have any since it doesnt come with that dish. My wife and I dined in for lunch on a Saturday afternoon. We ordered the garlic chicken wrap daily special with light sauce and no tomato which comes with fries and a drink for 11.49. We split the special. The wrap was a good size but didn't have a lot of chicken strips! The chicken is standard processed non breaded chicken strips. The kind of strips you can find made by Tyson at Walmart. The garlic sauce was a bit overpowering and we did not love the sauce. The wrap was ok and the processed chicken strips were just ok too. The Krinkle cut fries were actually pretty good and had good crunch! The fries were a 4 star frozen fry with a good amount of salt. The service was great. We just were not big fans of the garlic chicken wrap. Maybe the gyro or Philly cheese steak would be better options? read more

Stopped for lunch just off the town square in between antique/boutique shopping. We had the gyro wrap, grilled chicken wrap, and fries. All were delicious, and we love that this is a local, family-run business. The owner even played his dumbek (drum) for us before he left. Tonight we had gyros, onion rings and fried mushrooms. The gyros had black olives on them, something I've never had on gyros from any other restaurant. So, while strange, we just picked them off. The onion rings and mushrooms both had way too much breading on them, so all we could taste was fried batter. Gross. I couldn't even taste any onion. My husband and I have gotten food here a few times since moving to Washington 3 1/2 years ago, none of the meals have been too impressive. I don't plan on returning. read more

Whether or not this small restaurant is family owned & operated, you certainly feel that way. From the second I stepped in the door, I was welcomed with smiles. The restaurant is local, clean, but has a "home" feel to it. I felt a positive vibe during my entire visit. Upon asking what was good, I ordered a super gyro with fries. Each order of fries is made to order, so it is super fresh. You cannot even blink your eyes before your food is delivered to your table (I was in this restaurant shortly after lunch hour). The gyro contained all the usual, including fresh feta cheese. You can see that the meat is fresh, because it rotates right next to the grill. I do not think I will eat dinner tonight because of how filling this meal was. During my meal, I was checked on to make sure everything was okay. This is not a wait restaurant, but the employees are happy to check on you! I will absolutely return to this restaurant to try more on their menu! read more

We live in Washington, so we have been here a couple times. It's very clean and well lit and there are usually a few families there. The service is just ok - usually pleasant people wait on you, but they can be slow and understaffed at times so expect to wait a bit for your food. The food is usually very good - it's greasy, a mix between Mediterranean selections (Gyros and greek salad) and American food. It wasn't the best, it wasn't the worst greek food I've ever had. The service was what got me - it was just slow and the girl who made my salad didn't wear gloves to prepare it - that bothered me a bit, but she seemed new. I will go back here again, I just think their staff need to be managed a little better and trained to work a little quicker. read more

I've also had the falafel and gyro which is also the best I've had in this area, or ever for that matter. The owner is also very friendly and it's reasonably priced. Had their philly steak and hubby had their cod fish fillets. My steak was just ok because the bun was way TOO SOFT for a philly and it needed more meat. We are originally from PA so I do know what a philly steak should taste like. The cod was ok too and the fries were a little over cooked. all in all the meal was nothing to brag about. read more

Of the few legitimate pleasures in life, one I will never tire of is a place like this. Those restaurants where the menu is advertised like a concession stand at a sporting event. Where you'll pay 5 bucks and change to get enough food to last a day and a half. They have no stand-out special dishes because to do that would be a contradiction in terms with the ethos of an establishment like this. You know exactly what you're getting when you walk into the place, and you're a fool to think otherwise. My highly positive impression of this place is insignificant without a background story of the one time I've eaten there. It was a somber Monday afternoon a few months ago. I awoke around 1 PM and found myself still pretty buzzed from the previous night. I had the night off, so I figured it senseless to terminate a good thing and proceeded to day drink until it was a dignified hour to go exploit free pool all day and night at the bar in the middle of town a couple of miles from my house. Right as I was about to pass this place, it started pouring down rain. I figured that being drenched is usually shitty and greasy food complements incumbent inebriation well, so I stopped in. I was the only person in the joint walking in. The owner was the only person in the restaurant, and attentively took my order. I got a tenderloin and some fries. My assessment of the dish? It was a fucking platter of tenderloin and fries from a diner. Tasty, especially for my ethanol-ravaged stomach, but exactly what you'd expect. The food has nothing to do with why I implore you to patronize this establishment. Given how destitute the conditions were outside, I was the only patron in the restaurant for a good half an hour. During that time, the owner took a keen interest in engaging with me about the finer points in life, my education, and his family. Upon bringing me my food, he politely asked if he would be imposing if he sat across from me. Of course, I assured him it was no bother and we spent the next 30 minutes swapping stories about our respective lives while enjoying simple comfort food. It is of paramount importance to understand how vital an establishment like this is given our current climate of algorithmic consumption. Here we have a man that takes complete pride in his otherwise dime-a-dozen, time-tested business, and engages with his customers on a personal level with a degree of earnestness that is unrivaled. If you're going to a place like this for a gastronomical revelation, you're an idiot. My one interaction with the owner is a flagship example of a single person believing in their small role in their respective community and performing their duties with unrepentant pride. If you find that trivial, scurry along to the latest hyped restaurant staffed with people that couldn't care less about you and go fuck yourself. read more
