It was turkey vegetable It was extremely salty to the taste and was a generous size bowl serving. Chicken Butts: Boneless chicken fried and coated with buffalo sauce. It was not spicy at all and only 6 smallish sized pieces. Could be a bit better. 3/5 Server: Not attentive at all. i had to go to the bar to flag someone down and have her tell the server that i wanted to order some food and had waited over 2 hrs. She kept avoiding me. Not good for the server and so she's not going to get a tip. She didn't even come by to ask if my bf wanted another drink. 0/5 stars. I usually go there for the buy a pound get a pound half off wings on Wednesdays. Everytime I do they never disappoint and I crave them all the time. They are pretty quick in service being it is a bar. Great atmosphere and definitely worth the money and 5 stars! read more

I've worked in Burlington for almost 19 years and during that time I've seen it grow quite a bit. While I don't necessarily have the data to back it up I can joke about Burlington having the most pubs per square km or per capita because it just seems that way. For a city that has roughly under 200k in population they sure do have a lot of places to grab a beer between Fairview to Dundas and from Brant to Appleby. Jersey's just happen to fall into that square of streets I mentioned as do many and I do mean many places. My list of places to eat in Burlington for lunch is littered with places like Jersey's whether they're a chain or a smaller indy type place from QB's to Fionn Macool's to Beertown there are many choices within a 10 minute drive of where I have been working for almost 2 decades... and then there's Jersey's. Jersey's is like a pool hall that just happens to have a bar that just happens to serve food. I mean the foot print for this place is huge. Considering it's in a strip mall tucked away in off a side street (Headon) off a major street (Upper Middle) and I honestly can't say how long this place has been around because it's not exactly conspicuous. Still, for having worked a long time in the area I can't say I've noticed the place. I've probably only been to this strip mall maybe one other time to buy wings at a take out place so it's not common we come around this area really. When I say we I mean my colleagues that go out for lunch every Friday because that's what we do, we go out and have lunch on the last work day of the week on the regular. Aesthetics? Who cares, right? I mean sometimes looks can be deceiving. This place has a breathalyzer that you can test yourself before you leave for a toonie. Big tv's, a big photo of Kessel as a Leaf on the wall and a "skill" machine to play video slots? Oh a bar too and if you look around you'll also see pool tables because who doesn't like to play. OK so this place is not beer town but they're not trying to be that. Jersey's to me just looks like a place to be comfortable and hang out, have fun, eat, drink and just chill. The menu is diverse enough and the food value for the portions and quality are pretty damn impressive. I mean really, how many places have their top of the line burgers for under 15 bucks nowadays? Oh the burgers aren't formed frozen disks either. Mine crumbled just like home made and I forgot to mention these are half pound patties. I upgraded my side to a generous side bowl of poutine for 2.50 and domestic pints were 5 bucks. Who does that? Never mind the place comparatively undercharges but the food is no slouch either. The service was refreshing to say the least. Our server was funny and informal but still polite and efficient. Now I have to say out of all the places there are to eat in Burlington for about an hour in all the years I've ever worked here this place felt more like home than any other. Yes, I spent under an hour here and it was the most comfortable and pleasant experience to date. It was just my kind of place which is laid the F back, easy going, casual with good food and better than decent prices. If I had to explain the place I'd have to say it has a simple old school vibe that's not contrived. It's not a brand new Rolling Stones t shirt sold on Queen Street west in some hipster store. It's the original damn Rolling Stones t shirt from the 70's. There's something to be said about way back authenticity. Welcome to it. read more

I've gone here several times over the years and they never disappoint. Friendly service, lots of tables, a huge pool room, decent food, it's pretty good. I usually get one of the burgers which is a good size and the side salad is pretty big. The wings are okay, and the fish and chips also not bad. Fries are those chip-truck kind (not my favourite but maybe yours). Nothing is outstanding at this bar/restaurant, but nothing is bad either. It's a good go-to hang out place. Lots of TVs everywhere you look, so you're sure to catch a sport that's of interest. read more

Happened to stop into Jersey's Bar and Grill on the way to Buffalo for some shopping. You wouldn't find this place if you were not a local, I only happened upon this place because of a coupon. They are located in a defunked plaza. Unless you are a local drinker, which the place seemed to be quite filled with people drinking at the bar and it wasn't even noon yet you would never find this place, it is very hidden away. The service was very poor because there was only one person working who was more focused on the bar then taking our order but we decided to stay and way it out because we only wanted a couple wraps for a light lunch. The special happened to be chicken cesar wrap, and we both decided to get it, but to our surprise you can not use the coupon on the special. Nowhere on the coupon does it say any restrictions about using the coupon. It seems people are either happy you came into their establishment and the coupon worked or begrudge you of it, other way I would never come back to this place. Service was poor, unless you wanted a beer and the food was your basic bar food. Nothing special, not anything to see here. You are not missing out. read more

This is the place to be for an evening out playing pool. Their tables are the best and their watresses are super nice! The live music is an awesome addition, and there's no shortage of sports on their TVs. Food is delicious and the service even better, would highly recommend! read more

Went for breakfast. Food and price decent. It a sports bar however and they were unable to show the CFL game a Canadian product. instead was showing American football and British soccer. Not a Canadian sport visible. The crowd was very mixed. Tables of very young girls with their mothers and two people with NFL sweaters. When a request to at least have one screen shown the CFL nothing but excuses. Very disappointing. read more

Good food for a bar. Great fries. Zero craft beer is a huge disappointment. I guess 2017 hasn't made it out to Burlington yet. Which is odd, given the number of great breweries in that area of the GTA. read more

My daughter and I stopped by Jersey's today. We never went there and hoped the food would be good. Not only our waitress Jules was super nice but the food (I had quesadilla chicken) was excellent. We will come back for sure when we pass through Burlington, Ontario read more

Great local spot to stop in with friends or after hockey. Service is spot on, Wednesday is wing night and they are very good! Being fairly new to the area (5 yrs), this is a perfect spot to grab a snack and a cold beer anytime. read more

Overcharged? Oh well not their problem! This place gets two stars for the quality of their wings but the service was terrible. I wasn't expecting much from a place like this but managed to be greatly disappointed nevertheless. It took awhile for a waitress to take our initial order and when I asked questions about their selection they weren't exactly pleasant. When our bill came they had overcharged us for the beer and wings that were promoted that day. When I questioned the waitress she said she punched it in the computer- the computer was correct and she trusted the math. When we pointed out the sign on the table she reiterated the computer was correct and there was nothing she could (or would) do. $0.75 x 10 does not equal $8.00 no matter where you learned your math! This was one of four incorrect charges. At the end of it all, I wasn't asking for much and yet the waitress said there was nothing she could do about the bill. The small savings aside, it was the principle of the matter. My disgust is not just about overpaying for a clearly advertised sale but in how the situation was handled. I get the impression this place is supported by some dedicated regulars who never check their bills. If you do decide to go here for Sunday football wings, I caution you to lower your expectations and check your bill! ... and bring YOUR own "computer calculator".... to the business owners, don't advertise specials "your computers" don't process and do some customer service training with your wait staff.
