This place is absolutely gorgeous. Elegant, cozy, and definitely Instagram-worthy. The food?…read more100/10. Seriously... SO, SO, SO good. And the hookah? I've had hookah all over the world, and this one wins. Hands down the best hookah I've ever had.
Now... let's talk about the service. Not because the staff aren't trying they're basically training for a marathon . I have never seen people run this much in my life. They're carrying food, drinks, hookah, clearing tables... they're doing EVERYTHING. Whoever makes the schedule clearly believes five people can do the work of fifteen.
Usually, I've had to wait quite a while for the food, but somehow last night the kitchen worked magic and our food came out pretty fast. The hookah? As always, it arrived almost instantly.
The drinks, though... that's a completely different story. I honestly think they were waiting for the mangoes and strawberries to be picked from the nearest farm before making them. Then probably washing them, peeling them, thanking them for their service, and blending them. Yes, I'm being sarcastic... but wow, they took FOREVER to arrive.
Then came my favorite moment of the night. I ordered a salad and asked if they could leave out the kale because I can't eat it. A busboy with a ponytail and glasses came over and very seriously said, "We can't just pick the kale out."
I smiled and said, "No worries, I'll order a different salad."
He looked at me and repeated, "We can't remove the kale."
I said, "I know... that's why I'm ordering a different salad."
He said it AGAIN.
At that point I looked at him and said, "Hey... I'm not asking you to pick the kale from the salad. I just want a different one." The poor guy seemed totally confused I wasn't sure if he thought I was still negotiating with the kale or something else, but eventually we got it sorted out.
A huge shoutout to our server I think her name was Narden, if I remember correctly. She was an absolute sweetheart and took my food allergies very seriously, which I really appreciated. She never stopped moving and still managed to smile. She deserves a raise.
I heard they're changing the menu soon, and I'm honestly praying they don't mess with the food because it's already amazing. Keep the chefs exactly where they are and just hire more staff.
One last piece of advice... if you're trying to avoid someone, this is NOT the place to go. Apparently everyone in the city hangs out here. I literally walked right past a table of people I know and didn't even notice them (thankfully), because that would've turned into the most awkward "Oh hiiii!" of my life.
Overall, the food is incredible, the hookah is the best I've ever had, the atmosphere is beautiful, and the staff work incredibly hard. Just come with a full phone battery, good company, and a little patience... especially if you order a drink.
