Ned Devine's just made some changes to their menu. Last night I had the Mushroom Arugula Pasta and it was AMAZING!! Congrats to Chef Mike! It's one of the best past dishes I have had in the Halton Region and in the GTA. While I will try out other items on the menu, this will be my go to. Came here with a friend for drinks and food. We were seated on the outdoors patio. I ordered the onion rings and my friend ordered the fish and chips daily special. We also shared a pitcher of white sangria. The drink was good but the food was very greasy. I came to Ned Devine's for a date night with my fiancé. Past reviews didn't seem promising, but it was close to home, & had an outdoor patio to sit at during COVID. We sat upstairs on their patio, which is probably the highlight of the restaurant itself. Drinks & a view during the summer would be so nice! Unfortunately, the food is nothing to write home about. My fiancé ordered a burger & fries & I ordered the boneless wings & fries. The waitress raved about the fries and said they were made in house. Honestly, we had to put to much salt on them to even taste anything. They were not very good. The burger was just "ok", but my boneless wings (garlic parm I believe) were soo good! Unfortunately, if that's the only thing good here (even friends told us afterwards the food isn't great here) then it isn't enough to have me back. I'm sure it's a pain to get good seats here in the summer to enjoy the views as there are limited high table seats & it seems to be for larger groups. read more

Had been going to Ned's for Sunday breakfast for a couple of years. It wasn't great but for $7.99 and no crowd at 11am it was perfectly fine. However recently they upped the price to $12.99 for basic breakfast (1 slice of toast - no butter, 3 pieces of burnt bacon, 2 over hard eggs - ordered over easy, and 6 tator tots). Very disappointed. Ordered a Caesar Salad and Nachos with ground beef. Caesar Salad wasn't very good, almost like the dressing was off. Nachos were dry and the ground beef was dry, cold and unseasoned. You would expect better when you are paying $13.95 for a salad and $24.90 for nachos. Couldn't finish either and both ended up in the compost. Worst part is a gave a tip...for pick-up. read more

I've been here a few times over the years with the most recent time being in the summer for a staff party. The best part about this place is the upstairs patio which has plenty of seating and it's perfect with a drink in hand when the nice weather comes. The food is just okay - typical pub food choices like different sandwiches, burgers and salads. None of the food I've ordered from here is ever really that good (always lacking something in flavour) and it's overpriced for the portions you get. Pretty much at least about $30 for an entree and drink after tax and tip, which can be better spent elsewhere. Service has always been okay here and nothing to complain about. They were especially hard working and friendly when our staff party took up more than half the upstairs patio in the summer. If you just want a place to hang out at for drinks and listen to live music sometimes, then this is a good place to go. Just don't come here expecting the best food. read more

I have been going to Ned's for a few years now. They used to sponsor my softball team so we would end up there after every game, every Sunday. I love the roof top patio in the summer. Cool vibe and it's really the only pub in the area to have some good food and cold beer. I have ordered a bunch of different food here and have liked it all. 2.5 - We wanted to get out of Mississauga but not too far, needed a place that had lots of TVs and would be playing the Blue Jays game. I knew my sister had been here a few times, it's a big place and you can reserve the table online. We arrived here ten minutes prior to the reservation time and I had asked if they could accommodate us in a good spot with a view of the TV. We ended up not getting seated in the main room with the big screen where all the fans were but in the back room. The table he put us as you had to crank your neck to see so we moved ourselves to a smaller table with a better view. It was very drafty though. And the feel of the back room is totally different; it's like you're in an empty party room, not at all cozy. We ordered the curry fries to start and had the waitress go to the kitchen to check if it were vegetarian friendly and they confirmed it was. We also got a pint of amber ale to share. The fries came, looked great curry smelt and was delicious, but radar vision vegetarian, whilst in the midst of eating spotted a shredded piece of chicken. I had my boyfriend taste to confirm and it was. This is something you should know about veggies, we always have to be on heightened alert for these things. We told the waitress she was super apologetic, the manager came over and ensured it is vegetarian they didn't know how that got in at all an gave us fresh fries on the house. I decided to trust the manager and I didn't get sick so it probably was just accidental cross contamination that happens time to time. The way they dealt with the situation was very good. We ordered the cheese tortellini to share next. It was very big and very filling, it was yummy. We didn't finish it and I had the left overs for dinner the next day. Overall their food was decent for a pub, the waitress was sweet and attentive and the manager was very involved. But... it's not a place I plan on returning to. It just wasn't worth the 20 min drive, I hear it's great in the summer however. If someone had a party here yes I would go but I'm not planning on watching my sport events here next time. read more

I've never had a decent meal at Ned Devines, not do I know anyone who has. The Reno's they made a while back reduced the ambiance and it's now just one open room. The beer selection is decent, and I do like the roof patio. Definitely a place to only hit up for drinks. read more

This is a great place to go if you want to kick back and have some nachos and chicken wings. I've been here a handful of times and will keep going. It's a decent place, kindof the biggest place in Milton to grab a pint, live music in the back room sometimes, but the room is setup stupidly for it, you have to ram yourself in the front of that room to see the stage because the room is split in half with dividers so if you're a party in the back side you can see anything... I met David Cavan Fraser there though and he was so good we booked him at our wedding, they DO have good musicians, just a poort setup for it. The Food is standard pub food and they have a pretty good beers on tap, and the waitressess all wear kilts, rock on! Also they have an amazing rooftop patio, but I've never been able to get up there. read more

I have been here a few times over the years, A few years ago this place was the spot to be. Had the perfect crowd, not too old, not too young. The staff was great, food was great. I recently went back within the last month and my server was horrendous. He walked around like he knew everything and he tried to smooze rather than get us our food promptly (which did not even happen). It took him at least 15 mins to greet us and another 15 to get us our drinks. It really felt like he had other things going on and we were just a burden for him to serve. My friend have come here and had the same server and have had the same experience... I truly do miss the old staff, i use to come religiously. and now it is lucky if i show my face due to this reoccurring disappointment. read more

Of all the choices for pubs in Milton, this is the most 'happening'. It's pretty random because it's located in a strip mall, but I guess that's sort of the norm for pubs in the suburbs. It's big inside with two separate rooms and lots of booths and tables available. They get a solid crowd for all sports, it's almost always busy inside, and they have a great patio. The food is standard pub food. The servers wear kilts. If you're stuck in Milton on a Friday or Saturday night, this is the place to be. read more

On Friday Sept 26, I was visiting my girl friends family in Milton. Ned Devine's is really the only place around in Milton, so we went out for dinner and drinks. I had been here once before and had a good experience. The food and service were good, the booze was flowing but the band was horrible. The singer of this band looked like he'd been dragged off the street, all dirty and looking he needed a shower. We tried to enjoy ourselves but he was creeping the girls out invading their personal space and practically grinding on the dance floor with his guitar at one point, very disturbing. He would also say really dumb things in between songs. Needless to say we left because of them. I hate to single them out but, according to the events page on the website the band was called Fire When Ready. I would have expected the pub to hire better talent for a Friday night. To the event planners of Ned Devines, you need to hire talent that will do your pub justice, these guys didn't look very professional and they certainly didn't sound very good. Next time I come I'll be checking your calendar, if they're booked I'll stay home. read more

I wish there was minus star rating, the food and service suck so bad the restaurant is over rated, yes large beer selection but they obviously don't have a clue about food. Don't waste your time or money, go to Ivy Arms instead. The free oyster night is a total joke, if you go load up on the one visit you get from the very frequent if at all service from the servers. Great place nearby Rattlesnake Point where we had been camping. Wonderful service, friendly wait staff, and good food. Irish stew is savoury. Nachos were devoured. Manager is also friendly and goes the extra mile. Much appreciated. read more

This place is ridiculous. I went with my friends for a girls night- for the fist time in a Milton bar, might I add. We each had, literally, ONE drink before we were advised that we had exceeded our limit and would need to order food before ordering more. When I went to a bartender to order a second drink, the waitress serving myself and my girls had ran over to the bartender to whisper something in his ear. Later on, the bartender had apologized to our group of friends for the miscommunication that had occurred between the staff. Apparently some group of girls who can't handle their liquor were thought to be us. This "miscommunication" was not passed on, and we continued to feel unwelcome in to the bar.
