If I'm going to get a fast food chain sub this is my go to. Deli meat and cheese cut fresh in front of you when you order. Not pre cut and just sitting out like other sub chains. Hot subs cooked on the flat top right in front of you as well. Not warmed up in a microwave. The rolls are amazing and fresh every time. Now I will say the only reason they don't get 5 stars is when you order on the app it's almost never ready on time even though they have separate employees and a separate counter for these orders. Generally the subs are between good and great. This time was no different. On very few (once or twice in the many we patronized their establishment (in York, PA) have I been indifferent, or complained about the food (subs) from this place. However, I have read some (a few scathing reviews from others on the web. One complained that you have to detail what toppings (lettuce, tomato, onion, as well as the juice (dressing) mayo and cheese). That is how they would know what you want. Are they supposed to guess and hope they're right. Just due your due diligence! Tell them what you want so they can accommodate you. Either that or just don't get food from there. Subway does it the same way, in fact most places expect you to detail what you want. Otherwise make your own subs at home! Off the soap-box now. Good day . read more

I'm a sub connoisseur who grew up in New Jersey. I went to Jersey Mike's with high expectations and they met them. I was a little confused as to why the menu in the store didn't match the menu online, but the lovely gentleman with the Jersey accent behind the counter told me I could still get the #11 I wanted that wasn't technically on the menu at the moment. So I watched them cut the meat to order and build my sandwich. There was a substantial amount of meat and cheese piled on my sammie. The lettuce was shredded, not quite as finely as I prefer, but acceptable. The tomatoes were red, the onion sliced thin, and when I asked for heavy oil and vinegar on my sandwich they didn't look at me like I was crazy and they made it just perfect. The bread was almost perfectly crusty. I was really happy with my sandwich. I loved the quirky drink options available at the self-serve fountain, right next to the traditional favorites. I loved the Jersey Shore look and feel of the place that I can verify is authentic. This place is great. It will be my west side sub of choice. Go there, eat a real sub, be happy. read more

Best "Fast food" sandwich place you could go to. Definately better than subway, and I would pick this spot over Jimmy John's 8/10 times! High quality food, and comes out very fast. With a fairly good staff! I definately would recommend this amongst other fast food places! read more

The subs are always good here. Tonight the services was the best I have ever had from any fast food restaurant. We legit walked in at 851pm and they close at 9, not one employee acted annoyed. Everyone was super pleasant. My only regret is that I said no to a receipt because I would have like to share the young guys name that waited on us. He was amazing. The entire staff was great. They had plus out of there by 859pm. How nice this staff was will keep me coming back here. Keep smiling young Sirs and Ladies. Great job. read more

Mediocre. No value for the money here when the local sub shop makes better and larger subs for 3 dollars less ! A regular at 11 dollars is half the size of our favorite local at 9. The Italian was tasty but the Buffalo chicken was not very good. read more

Ordering in is cool but please never order to go! I ordered a wrap and the last 6 times I ordered the extra stuff I put on it never came! Honestly wasn't a big deal at first so I called the store once to change the cheese and then I mentioned the extra bacon wasn't ever on it. So when I mentioned it, it was fixed! The next time it happened I called again and made sure to tell the rude Ms. Emily that I wasn't even asking for double bacon this time just the amount that I was paying for because the double bacon actually wasn't good and ruined the sandwich. Ms. Emily was very argumentative and instead of listening you wanted to prove that she remembered me from one time before which just proves that the store repeatedly messed up my order. Hun nobody is that pressed for bacon I just wanted what I paid for and the last time I bought my sandwich in a manager actually saw it was wrong and gave me a full refund and remade my sandwich. Little did she know... it's called customer service! And out of more than a half a dozen times my food was messed up I called two Separate times! You could always just make peoples food the way they are asking and stop bringing your pissy ass attitude to paying customers. What ding bat. read more

Had 2 times since they opened down the hill from where I work. Had a cheesesteak and then an Italian sub in a tub Mikes way. The items were very tasty and reasonably priced . Service was good the time I picked up. Would try it over fast food any day, even if it was out of my way. read more

I went in on a Friday night. It was busy, the guy said 10-15 minutes for hot subs. I order 1 regular Philly sub no onions. I put my order in at 5:55 PM. At 6:25 I ask the girl at the counter about my sub. She couldn't find my ticket so they were going to remake it. At 6:45 I still hadn't got my sub so I asked for a manager. He came over and I nicely explained the situation. He said he would make it right now. He came back 2 minutes later and told me they were out of white bread. He offered a refund or to put the sub in a tub, (everything minus the bread). Who wants a Philly steak without the bread? He gave me the money back for the sub but wouldn't refund the combo price since I had already poured the drink....I wont eat here again. read more
