Wings, burgers, WD-40? They got it all. And they deliver. Breakfast sandwiches are amazing. Friendly service and open late.

My parents are 88 and 90 ... they had a horrible time with their sandwiches! Maybe less meat and then lower the prices!! They are pretty steep on their prices and charge extra for everything!! They both ordered the 1/2 a sandwich with a cup of soup. They both enjoyed their soup. They said it was good but nothing special. My cousin and I both opted for a full sandwich w/fries. We exchanged 1/2 of our sandwiches. When I asked for mine w/out jalapeños you would have thought I had asked her to go out back and killed the chicken with her bare hand! Very strange look and a bit of a snotty attitude! The service was sooooo slow! And only a few people were in. We stopped in for an early lunch. (Just after opening) The new location is way too small. I'm surprised they chose to move to this location. The parking lot is tiny and weird shaped. There's not a lot of seating inside... I personally have tried all of their locations and it's always the same issues. It was not my choice to pick here, I would have gone elsewhere.

The FHCBR if you will, had a pepper next to it on the menu I assumed that means spicy so I asked the guy if it was spicy to which he replied "it's not that spicy" so I had an image in my head of a piss poor mild hum, to which I say the counter-man's description did not do the "not too spicy justice". Now this was not a flaming hot hurt your mouth kinda spice but it was a leave some heat lingering great flavor kind of spice, and I've got to add idd consider myself to have a pretty high heat tolerance so idd probably think most normal people are probably gonna think this thing is actually pretty spicy. So I gotta ask, since when are there spicy subs? Like not just sweet peppers, pepper relish or jalops I mean since when do they slather a bad boy down with some capsaicin infused chipotle mayo? My brain doesn't logically go to subs should be spicy, but apparently the chefs over at the Fire Company thought it did and let me tell you I commend them for that. They gave me something I didn't know I needed Fire fighters are supposed to put fires out not start fires and let me tell you Firehouse Subs lit a fire in my mouth and my heart today. Get yourself FHCBR especially if you ain't afraid of the fire, you may get a little burnt 10/5

I was buying alot of different items and they did not act bothered at all. I bought all kinds of different types of sausages and he didn't make me feel bad at all. He even thanked me for my business - this location is a little out of my way but I will make a point to go again as it is a gorgeous drive thru the country. They had olive loaf at the deli - love that stuff and hard to find.

The store is huge and just feels more complete than the store in Boiling Springs. Their meat department has a great selection and I would recommend anyone looking for steak to go here for quality. Yes, their "deals" often involve buying meat in bulk, but even for the extra dollar a pound to buy it without the deal, you get what you pay for. Their ground sirloin is out of this world for things like hamburger helper or tacos! The soups are another highlight - it's like walking into my grandma's kitchen! Homemade style soups are always available on their hot bar, and some are prepackaged cold. Our favorites are their Corn Chowder, Lobster Bisque, and their Corn and Shrimp Chowder. The only downside is the price. You get it by the pound, and if you use the big container, you could easily spend almost $10. That's a bit steep for maybe two portions, but the quality really is amazing. They run great deals on things like frozen pizza! Their pies and baked goods are decent quality too, though I'd recommend getting these early in the day as many are made overnight. Fresh in the morning doesn't always mean fresh in the evening! Cat food and litter is reasonable as well. Two 20 pound containers of litter is maybe a dollar or two more than one 40 pound container at Target or Walmart, so it really isn't worth the drive when we can just grab this at Karns. North Middleton got a great boost when Karns brought groceries back to this side of town!
